Pokémon's Lord of Fear
Chapter 66 Ghost Call
Chapter 66 Ghost Call
Teng Shu finally finalized the actors for the male and female protagonists, both of whom have excellent acting skills and whose temperaments are more suitable for horror films.
The only trouble was the little actress who played Mimiko Mizunuma.
After all, Mimiko Mizunuma is a villain, and Teng Shu has high expectations for her, requiring her to be able to perform in a way that is two-faced.
In the end, Teng Shu also found a solution.
"You're going to play Mimiko Mizunuma?" Teng Shu looked at Zoroark in surprise.
Yes, Teng Shu's solution was to let Zoroark play Mimiko Mizunuma, or rather, it was Zoroark himself who proposed it.
"Hiss, cough, cough, save me, mother." Zoroark instantly turned into a little girl with black hair. She looked at Teng Shu with eyes full of desire to survive. She stretched out her hand tremblingly, and her face was very pale, as if she was going to die in the next second.
Then she sat up from the ground and looked aside with jealousy and resentment, as if she was looking at her sister.
"Boss~ How's my acting?" Zoroark changed back into a secretary and said with a proud look on his face.
"Very good." Teng Shu nodded. This was indeed impeccable. And there was no need for makeup to make Mimiko Mizunuma act out the feeling of suffocation.
"So should we~" Zoroark rubbed his fingers with a mercenary expression on his face.
Teng Shu readily gave a standard market salary, and Zoroark's eyes narrowed into slits with joy.
Teng Shu knew at a glance that Zoroark must be looking to spend money to play games again. This guy is a game nerd, obsessed with all kinds of games. Except for working hours, he plays games all the time.
Even in the dead of night, Teng Shu could see Zoroark getting a pentakill in the Pokémon Canyon.
Now that the actors have been confirmed, it's time to officially start filming.
"Zoroark, has there been a call from the Pokémon Center?" Teng Shu sat in the director's seat, then thought of Zoroark, whom he had sent to the Pokémon Center yesterday, and asked quickly.
"Not yet, boss. I'll let you know if there is one." Zoroark shook his head and Teng Shu pinched his eyebrows.
It couldn't be that Xiao Q had caused some problems, right? But it seemed possible.
After all, Xiao Q has been eating Fear Cubes every day during this period, and his strength has been continuously improving. In addition, Xiao Q attacked without reservation and it was attribute restraint, so it was normal for Suo Cailing to be seriously injured.
Well, let’s wait until the filming is finished and go see Suo Cailing.
"Then let's start shooting the first segment of "Ghost Call"!" Teng Shu raised the microphone in his hand and shouted loudly.
In an instant, the camera fell on a busy urban exterior, and then aimed at a store and the mobile phones placed inside. Then the lens switched and cut to the scene of the heroine and her friends having dinner, and Yumi was lighting a cigarette.
Teng Shu sat in the back and watched. The performance of this scene was very good, and the acting skills of these actors were also quite good. However, for the sake of later editing, Teng Shu still asked the actors to keep one take. The story continued to move forward.
Yumi was making a fire, but she didn't dare to look at the small hole of the fire. A man next to her smiled and guessed that Yumi had some psychological trauma about the small hole, which made her afraid of the small hole.
Teng Shu took out a pen and paper and wrote down some notes for post-production editing. When the movie was being edited, a quick flashback would be inserted here to prove that what the man said was correct and to lay the first foreshadowing.
The plot was still advancing. When the man was telling the horror story, the camera fell on Yumi. At this moment, a small hand appeared on Yumi's shoulder, and the next second the small hand retracted. Yumi turned around and saw her friend Yoko.
Then the man continued to tell his story, and when he finished, Teng Shu also shouted "click".
"Okay, let's go to the second scene now." Teng Shu waved his hand and said to the actors present.
The stagehands and actors quickly followed Teng Shu to the second scene, the toilet.
The toilet has appeared in almost every horror movie, and this place seems to be particularly suitable for some dangerous things to happen, but Teng Shu has his own understanding of the toilet.
A toilet, especially an empty one at night, can easily arouse people's inner anxiety. Choosing a toilet for the second scene is also a simple foreshadowing for the horror elements that follow.
"Have the sound effects been changed?" Teng Shu asked the props team. The props team nodded quickly to indicate that they had been changed. Only then did Teng Shu continue to shoot the next scene with satisfaction.
In the bathroom, Yumi and Yoko were talking about Yoko's funeral. Yoko was using the bathroom while Yumi was washing her hands. During this time, Yumi also asked how the person died. The dim bathroom also had an uneasy atmosphere.
Then, a strange cell phone ringtone was heard in the dim toilet. Yumi turned her head and saw that it was Yoko's cell phone ringing, so she reminded her, but Yoko said that it was not her cell phone ringtone.
In the empty toilet, the strange music was still echoing, and Yoko came out at this time. She picked up her mobile phone and found that the call was from her own mobile number.
But after listening to the message, I heard Yoko's voice, and the message was left in the future, not now.
Teng Shu watched this scene excitedly.
In Ghost Call, this part of the plot actually doesn't have many frightening moments, it's more like a suspense segment, but it also paves the way for the follow-up, and also leads to the fact that this time the evil spirit kills people with the help of a mobile phone.
Moreover, it has a very sassy murder preview, using the victim's own voice and a specific time to complete this incredible evil spirit killing method. This design was very clever even at the time, not to mention that the Pokémon League is not very good at making horror movies.
"Come on, save one." Teng Shu looked at the toilet scene after it was filmed and was very satisfied, but he still asked for a save.
"Boss, will there be a sequel to this?" Zoroark walked over and asked Teng Shu excitedly.
"Not in the short term." Teng Shu shook his head.
The plot of the first part of "Call on Me" was very good and cleverly designed, but the second part was filmed in a different location and was not as scary enough. The third part instead borrowed from European and American plasma films, with large-scale deaths, which Teng Shu didn't like very much either.
