Chapter 25: Nine Suns Obtained
In the world of "The Legend of the Condor Heroes Trilogy", there are two peerless martial arts that are widely known, namely "Nine Yin Scriptures" and "Nine Yang Scriptures".

The "Nine Yin Scriptures" has become widely known since the Huashan Sword Contest, in which the five greatest martial arts masters were selected. It has been known as the "general outline of all martial arts in the world."

The Nine Yang Manual was not well-known until the Yitian era, when it came into the hands of the Ming Cult leader Zhang Wuji, and then it came to prominence.

And the "Nine Yang Manual", if nothing unexpected happens, is recorded in the "Lankavatara Sutra" in Fang Hao's hand.

In order to conceal his true identity, Fang Hao first read through "Santong Qi" and then began to read "Lankavatara Sutra". However, after searching through all the scriptures, he could not find the "Nine Yang Manual" mentioned in the original story line.

"Strange? Could it be that Jueyuan has taken it away? That's not right. Jueyuan has just been transferred to the Sutra Library not long ago. He should not have read this sutra yet."

Fang Hao thought about it for a while, raised his head and asked: "Master Jueyuan, is there a Sanskrit version of this Lankavatara Sutra?"

Jueyuan replied, "I really don't know about this. Young Master Fang, please wait a moment. I will go and look for it with you."

As he spoke, Jueyuan began to search for the ancient scriptures on a remote shelf on the first floor of the Sutra Library.

After an incense stick of time, Jue Yuan said happily: "Young Master Fang, I found it!"

As he spoke, he handed a scripture with an ancient cover that was obviously very old to Fang Hao.

Fang Hao looked through it carefully and indeed, in the gap between the Sanskrit works, he saw the profound martial arts written in Chinese.

When he saw the words "When Yin reaches its peak, it gradually declines, and Shaoyang is secretly born. Yin gradually declines and Yang gradually rises. Yin and Yang complement each other and help each other. Shaoyang is born from old Yin, and Shaoyin is born from old Yang..."

Then he knew that he had finally found the real "Nine Yang Manual"!
It turns out that there have been several versions of the "Lankavatara Sutra" since it was introduced to the Central Plains from India. The earliest version was recorded in several palm leaf scriptures brought by Bodhidharma after he entered the Central Plains.

However, palm leaves were fragile and inconvenient to store and read, so the Shaolin monks copied them onto white paper and bound them into books.

When copying the Sanskrit, the spaces between the lines were very wide, so another legendary figure, the Drunken Monk, wrote a profound internal skill in Chinese in the spaces between the lines. This is the "Nine Yang Manual" that Fang Hao is seeing now!
"Thank you, Master Jueyuan, this is the book!" Fang Hao said happily.

"I'm glad you found it. I didn't expect that there are so many ancient Sanskrit scriptures in the Sutra Repository. I will study them carefully in the future." After saying this, Jueyuan retreated again.

Fang Hao found a secluded spot in the Sutra Library and began copying.

I have to say, after throwing out a "transparent world" yesterday, I must have used up all my luck during this period. The supernatural power thrown out today is the common "sharp ears and eyes".

The effect of this ability is far inferior to "photographic memory" and it is not of much benefit in memorizing scriptures, so Fang Hao can only copy them with pen and ink.

I plan to copy the contents of the scriptures into my brain after I use the power of "photographic memory".

"Inhale and exhale the Nine Yangs, embrace the One and contain the Yuan. This book can be called The True Scripture of the Nine Yangs."

After copying the last sentence, Fang Hao put down the brush and flexed his wrist.

When he looked at the "Nine Yang Manual" which had been copied completely from beginning to end, he nodded with satisfaction.

Just in case, he read the original Sanskrit version of the Lankavatara Sutra again to make sure that it was really just a Buddhist scripture.

As for when Fang Hao learned Sanskrit, of course he learned it from Feng Heng!

You should know that many of the magical secrets in Jin Yong's martial arts world, such as the outline of "Nine Yin Scriptures", are written in Sanskrit.

Therefore, Fang Hao followed Feng Heng early on and learned this unpopular skill.

In the next few days, Fang Hao stayed in Shaolin Temple for a few more days and then left with Su Xinghu.

After descending Mount Shaoshi, Fang Hao sent Su Xinghu back to Taihu Lake, and prepared to go to Mount Zhongnan alone.

After all, what he was about to do wasn't very glorious, so it was better not to let his subordinates know. ...

"May your fortune be like the long flowing water of the East Sea, and your life be like the evergreen pines of the Southern Mountains."

The Nanshan Mountain in the poem refers to Mount Zhongnan, which is steep and beautiful, like a brocade painting, with clear and bright scenery and pleasant views.

Today, it is the ancestral temple of the Quanzhen Sect, the largest sect in the world.

However, Fang Hao’s purpose this time was not the Quanzhen Sect, but the Chongyang inscriptions in the underground stone chamber in the Tomb of the Living Dead behind Mount Zhongnan.

Back then, Wang Chongyang was the best martial artist in the world, and he and Lin Chaoying, the founder of the Ancient Tomb School, should have created a wonderful story.

However, fate played a trick on him. In order to fight against the Jin Dynasty, Wang Chongyang finally gave up this relationship.

Lin Chaoying was so proud that she not only won the ancient tomb in the gambling fight with Wang Chongyang.

She also created the "Jade Girl Heart Sutra" to destroy all the Quanzhen Sect's martial arts.

After Lin Chaoying's death, Wang Chongyang entered the ancient tomb to pay tribute to his former lover and discovered the "Jade Girl Heart Sutra" left by Lin Chaoying.

For a moment, he was actually aroused by the desire to win, but after thinking hard for many days, he still could not form a set of martial arts that encompassed both internal and external aspects and was coherent.

It was not until Wang Chongyang won the "Nine Yin Scriptures" in the Huashan Sword Contest that he combined the various secrets and essences contained in the scriptures and pointed out the methods to crack the "Jade Girl Heart Sutra" one by one, and left them in the underground stone chamber.

After Fang Hao came to Zhongnan Mountain, he first found the back mountain of Chongyang Palace.

Recalling the original plot, Fang Hao remembered that the stone chamber engraved with the "Nine Yin Scriptures" seemed to be connected to an underground river, and the exit was a secret cave at the foot of Mount Zhongnan.

After defining the scope, Fang Hao began to search in the designated area.

He was a martial arts expert and was not afraid of wild beasts or poisonous insects, but the foot of Mount Zhongnan was so vast that Fang Hao searched for more than ten days but found nothing.

So Fang Hao simply settled down at the foot of Mount Zhongnan and built a small thatched hut under a pine forest to shelter from the wind and rain.

During this period, Fang Hao continued to search for the entrance to the ancient tomb during the day, and comprehended the "Nine Yang Manual" copied from Shaolin Temple at night. His days were quite fulfilling.

However, when he thought of the Dajiang Alliance on Taihu Lake, and his master, his mistress, Huang Rong and others who were waiting for him to return on Peach Blossom Island.

He couldn't delay too long. At most half a year, he would have to set off back.

One day, Fang Hao woke up and threw the Universal Dice into the sky as usual.

The twenty-sided dice fell to the ground and finally stopped at the ability of "Hearing a thousand things at once".

This was the first time Fang Hao used his ability of gaining insights upon hearing one thing three years later.

"Great!"

Fang Hao's eyes lit up. He had been studying the Nine Yang Manual for the past few days, but he was still a little confused about this top-notch internal skill that combined hardness and softness, and the harmony of yin and yang.

The Nine Yang Manual is divided into four volumes. The first three volumes are fine. After Fang Hao pondered over them for several days, he began to practice them consciously without any worries.

Only in the fourth volume, there were several passages that he was unsure about.

The appearance of "One Hear, One Thousand Enlightenments" just solved his urgent problem!
