Chapter 555 The superposition of numerous essences of Luofu! An anomaly that changes the entire Three Realms!
"My Buddha is merciful."
After their initial surprise, the Seven Emotions Bodhisattvas realized that times had changed and they were no longer the same as before.
After expressing their gratitude, the seven sisters each took a ginseng fruit.
Luo Fu then put away the remaining eleven ginseng fruits.
Soon after leaving the main hall, news that delighted all the disciples of the Pratyekabuddha, Madhyamaka, and Pratyekabuddha lineages spread from the mouth of the Seven Emotions Bodhisattva.
Like a true Buddha, possessing great magical power and great opportunities, he opened up the Wonderful Dharma Heaven, allowing his disciples to no longer worry about their lifespan. Even the ginseng fruit, a spiritual root and exotic fruit that can extend lifespan, becomes something that can only satisfy the desires of the palate.
This news brought honor to the entire Ruzhen Temple, and to all the Pratyekabuddhas of the Middle Vehicle Buddhism and the Pratyekabuddha lineage.
After all, treasures that extend lifespan are rare in the Three Realms, except for Zhen Yuanzi's ginseng fruit, which is an exception, and only those truly top-tier experts possess them.
Among these, the Heavenly Peaches of Immortality are undoubtedly the most well-known, while the Golden Elixir of Laozi is something that can only be encountered by chance. After all, even the Jade Emperor would not dare to exploit Laozi and make him refine the Golden Elixir of Immortality batch after batch to increase lifespan.
The Taoist sect and the Heavenly Court each have their own methods for increasing lifespan, and the Western Paradise Spirit Mountain naturally has its own methods as well.
Lotus seeds from the Lotus Pond of Merit also have the effect of increasing lifespan. However, compared to the Buddhist sect, which is relatively closed off, the lotus seeds from the Lotus Pond of Merit, in terms of both yield and effort, cannot compare with the peaches of immortality. As a result, many cultivators are completely unaware of the methods of the Western Paradise.
Not only the Western Paradise, but even the Eastern Emperor of the Three Islands and Ten Continents has a way to extend his lifespan.
Don't forget, the God of Longevity among the Three Star Gods of Fortune, Prosperity, and Longevity is himself a deity who governs lifespan in the human world.
However, the methods used by Emperor Donghua to extend lifespan are even more appalling.
Let alone spreading it out, even within the Three Islands and Ten Continents, there is no guarantee that it can be fulfilled. The idea of immortals descending to the mortal realm to undergo tribulations can actually be considered a helpless choice when one's lifespan is about to end.
Descending to the mortal realm to undergo tribulations is, in some ways, comparable to the world of "Covering the Sky," where the Great Emperor is given a second chance at life when his lifespan is about to end.
However, the risks and other aspects of descending to the mortal realm to undergo tribulation are much simpler than the Great Emperor's rebirth, and there is very little chance of failure.
This is, of course, within the Three Realms. Even immortals value human relationships. Apart from those immortals who have been demoted and severely punished by the Heavenly Court, ordinary immortals, when forced to descend to the mortal realm to undergo tribulations, will entrust two or three friends to help look after them.
To ensure that one does not fall into eternal reincarnation.
The Buddha Luofu, now speaking directly from the Seven Emotions Bodhisattva, has declared that his disciples will no longer have to worry about their lifespans. Putting aside everything else, this represents a qualitative leap in both public sentiment and organizational structure.
If there were cultivators who joined the Luofu Ruzhen Sect before only with the intention of currying favor, now these people have truly begun to submit to the Ruzhen Wonderful Dharma Heaven.
………………
Jindou Cave.
It is considered one of the most difficult checkpoints on the journey to the west.
The One-Horned Rhinoceros King truly carried out the task assigned by Laozi with utmost loyalty.
No matter what kind of helpers Sun Wukong found, all those famous supernatural powers and magical treasures that shook the Three Realms were instantly taken away when they encountered the Vajra Bracelet in his hand.
Every time Sun Wukong challenged and provoked him, the One-Horned Rhinoceros King was confident of victory and remained calm and unhurried.
But this time, when he heard Sun Wukong shouting and cursing outside the Golden Gourd Cave again, the One-Horned Rhinoceros King, who had just left the cave, was not as confident as before.
"Keeper of the Heavenly Horses." As soon as he stepped out of the cave, the One-Horned Rhinoceros King said to Sun Wukong, who was still cursing not far away, "You wretched monkey, which side's help did you find this time?"
"Hehe!" Sun Wukong grinned and said, "This time, I, Old Sun, have borrowed a magic weapon from the Buddha Ruzhen. Today, you'll definitely know how powerful it is!!"
Sun Wukong clearly overlooked the instructions given by Luofu earlier.
It's important to know that Luo Fu only told Sun Wukong that the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak could only guarantee the safety of Tang Sanzang and the others, but he never said that the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak could defeat the One-Horned Rhinoceros King.
It must be admitted that even after the lesson of the true and false Monkey Kings, Sun Wukong is still not free from the influence of his restless mind and the six thieves.
Although he heard Luo Fu's instructions, he didn't take them to heart.
Facing the One-Horned Rhinoceros King, whom he had suffered countless times, Sun Wukong waved his hands and took out the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak.
This can be considered the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak crafted in Luofu, making its true debut in the Three Realms.
Little did they know that at this moment, the Heavenly Court, the Western Paradise, and even the Underworld were all paying attention to the direction of the Golden Gourd Cave.
The moment Sun Wukong revealed the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak, countless powerful beings focused their gazes on this magical treasure.
The First One-Horned Rhinoceros King couldn't help but touch the Vajra Bracelet on his wrist.
"Monkey, don't make me laugh my head off. It's just a cloak. Have you forgotten all the reinforcements you called in and all the magical treasures you borrowed? They've all become spoils of war for my Golden Gourd Cave. You think I need a new outfit, so you specially sent it to me? Hahaha..." The One-Horned Rhinoceros King laughed wildly, but he didn't dare to be negligent.
With a flick of his wrist, he revealed the diamond bracelet.
As the Vajra Bracelet appeared, a shimmering light of merit emerged, its precious glow faintly emanating, and in an instant, it formed a large funnel-like shape.
The opening of the funnel was facing the direction of Sun Wukong.
A tremendous suction force pulled Sun Wukong so fast that before he could react, the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak in his hand was instantly drawn towards the direction of the One-Horned Rhinoceros King.
Sun Wukong's eyes widened suddenly, as if he had only just remembered Luo Fu's instructions.
But at this moment, the suction force of the Vajra Bracelet was something that Sun Wukong could not resist at all.
You should know that Sun Wukong was sucked away by the Golden Cudgel several times.
I always sneaked them back.
Now, this Seven Emotions Crane Cloak, borrowed from Luofu, is naturally also subject to the magical power of the Vajra Bracelet.
Just as the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak was about to be swallowed by the funnel formed by the Vajra Bracelet, countless fine threads appeared from nowhere and gathered densely on the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak, stopping it from sinking into the Vajra Bracelet's hole.
Just a hair's breadth away from being completely swallowed by the Vajra Bracelet's funnel, but these threads from the void acted like reins, creating a stalemate between the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak and the Vajra Bracelet.
Sun Wukong's eyes lit up immediately, and he slapped his thigh with great joy, repeatedly saying, "What a treasure! What a treasure!"
Before this, Sun Wukong had invited countless helpers from the Three Realms. Even the treasures of powerful figures in Heaven, such as Nezha and the Fire God, were all taken away by the Vajra Bracelet without any ability to resist.
But it was this one that caused Sun Wukong to carelessly misuse the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak, and he actually ended up in a stalemate with this magical treasure.
The Seven Emotions Crane Cloak itself is based on the Vidyaraja Dharma taught by the Buddha from the East in Luofu, which refines one's own anger and transforms it into the Vidyaraja body.
Luo Fu, however, expanded the method of refining anger to include the seven emotions. Ever since he developed the method of controlling desires with the seven emotions and used it to refine the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak, this magical treasure has been in a state of constant refinement and strengthening.
Centered on Ruzhen Temple, the power of the seven emotions of all sentient beings in the Saha world will transform into threads of emotion, eventually converging on the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak, continuously enhancing the power of this magical treasure.
This method of refining emotions into silk threads was derived by Luo Fu from the innate supernatural power of the Seven Emotions Bodhisattvas, who were once spider demons.
Of course, the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak, seemingly composed entirely of the Tao and Dharma of the Journey to the West world itself.
In reality, however, it is absolutely impossible for it to escape the influence of the power shared with Luofu.
This influence is not something that Luo Fu is aware of, and even if Luo Fu actively tries to curb it, it will be meaningless.
Because from the moment he completed the sharing, the techniques, supernatural abilities, and other methods he learned from Luofu in the various worlds were secondary. The key was the superposition of the essence of Luofu, and the source of this essence was the Dao and principles of different worlds.
Just as a person's self-awareness cannot control many physiological instincts, there are very few systems in the human body that can be subjectively interfered with.
These principles and doctrines from other worlds have long been integrated with Luofu. The relationship between the two is not simply a mathematical addition of one plus one, but a conceptual overlap and convergence.
The very components that make up the existence called Luofu naturally contain the essence of what has been shared.
At this moment, the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak blocked the Vajra Bracelet's movements, attracting the attention of countless people.
heaven.
The Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother of the West sat side by side.
Before the two supreme beings, a huge precious mirror perfectly displayed the scene outside the Golden Gourd Cave.
Even though it's in the Heavenly Court, the Jade Emperor often asks the Thousand-Mile Eye and the Wind-Following Ear what they saw and heard when it comes to matters concerning the Three Realms.
But in reality, aside from everything else, the Jade Emperor possesses the Haotian Mirror, a magical treasure that allows him to observe the entire Three Realms in an instant.
To demonstrate his supreme authority over the Three Realms, the Jade Emperor would never personally intervene in most situations.
Now, observing this anomaly, Luofu, is clearly beyond the capabilities of clairvoyance and clairaudience.
The scene reflected in the Haotian Mirror made the Jade Emperor look in the direction of Laozi.
Indeed, Laozi was also present in the Lingxiao Palace at this moment.
Not only Laozi, but also important officials of the Heavenly Court such as Li Jing, the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King, and Nezha and his son, the Great God of the Three Altars and Seas, were all included.
Sensing the Jade Emperor's gaze, Laozi stroked his long beard and said, "What a clever way to use the seven emotions of all living beings for one's own purposes! This method is indeed ingenious, but it's nothing special."
After a slight pause, Laozi said, "This robe of the true Buddha can withstand my Vajra Bracelet because this robe is not in the present moment, but in the seven emotions of all living beings. My Vajra Bracelet can collect all the divine weapons and magic treasures in the world, but this robe of seven emotions has affected too many living beings."
For these powerful beings of the Three Realms, Luo Fu's method of crafting the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak was indeed nothing special.
Don't forget that the source of controlling the seven emotions and desires is the Vidyaraja Dharma that Luofu learned from the Buddha who came from the East.
The method of transforming one's own wrath into the form of a wrathful deity, as seen in the practice of the Vidyaraja, is a specialty of Buddhism.
Even the manipulation of emotions and desires is an extremely virtuous area within Buddhism.
As for why it is called a kasaya by Laozi, even though it is similar to a Taoist crane cloak, it is not surprising.
Essentially, the Buddhist and Taoist traditions share similar forms of clothing, such as the cloak.
Even before the Great Tribulation of the Investiture of the Gods, there were several Eight Trigrams Purple Ribbon Immortal Robes, and each one was very different in design.
There are cloaks similar to the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak that Luofu is currently crafting, and there are also cloaks with an inner lining.
Within Buddhism, as Western religions transformed into Buddhism, the original form, resembling a cloak, gradually began to evolve into the kasaya we know today.
However, this kind of ancient cloak-like magical artifact is also called a kasaya in Buddhism.
Faced with Laozi's words, the Jade Emperor looked thoughtful.
Although it seems that Laozi is also observing the battle outside the Golden Gourd Cave in the mortal realm through the Jade Emperor's Haotian Mirror, how powerful is Laozi? Even without the Haotian Mirror, he can easily survey the entire Three Realms in the blink of an eye.
At this moment, doing this is merely to give face to the Jade Emperor, the supreme ruler of the Three Realms.
After all, Laozi was not the Supreme Sage of Taiqing; he was merely an incarnation left behind by the Supreme Sage of Taiqing in the Three Realms, and he was even listed on the Investiture of the Gods.
In principle, Laozi is a subject of the Jade Emperor, but the Six Sages are the true masters.
Laozi clearly sensed something through the stalemate between the Vajra Bracelet and the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak, since the Vajra Bracelet was a meritorious magic weapon he created when he converted barbarians to Buddhism.
Even now, the Vajra Bracelet, in the hands of the One-Horned Rhinoceros King, has become a tool to hinder the westward journey.
Even Laozi himself said that the One-Horned Rhinoceros King, who stole his Vajra Bracelet, was not someone he could easily subdue.
But anyone who believes that is a fool.
Any magical artifact, once truly crafted, cannot be beyond the mastery of.
For example, Guang Chengzi almost fell into the hands of his disciple during the Investiture of the Gods, because the Heaven-Turning Seal was a magic weapon that was originally crafted by Yuanshi Tianzun.
Those who truly craft magical artifacts can even project their own will onto the artifact with a mere thought.
If we were to ask who among those observing this battle in the Three Realms understands the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak best, it would undoubtedly be none other than Laozi.
The people of Heaven are observing the contest between the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak and the Vajra Bracelet.
And in the Western Paradise, at Mount Ling, the World-Honored One, Tathagata, was the same.
Not only that, even the Buddha who nominally guides pilgrims across the river is actually an incarnation of the Guide Daoist, one of the two Western Saints.
Luofu, this anomaly that clearly has the ability to change the entire Three Realms, has now become the core of the Three Realms and Four Religions.
Like the Styx Ancestor in the Netherworld Blood Sea, who stared intently in the direction of the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak, hoping to gain insight into the mysteries of the variable that is Luofu through observation of the Seven Emotions Crane Cloak, and find a way to become a saint.
In comparison, the only one who remained relatively calm was Lady Pingxin in the underworld.
