Just as to a tiny insect, any human finger possesses an invincible, god-like power, but in the insect's perception, that invincible power is merely a small part of human tissue.

The relationship between Zen Master Baiyun and Pudu Cihang is actually the same.

From a higher cognitive perspective, Master Baiyun and Master Pudu Cihang can indeed be viewed as two sides of the same coin, but in reality, they are completely different.

This difference stems from the most fundamental distinction between different minds.

As one of the two sides of the same coin, Zen Master Baiyun himself also looked down on Pudu Cihang, and was even hostile to him.

This is why, even though Luo Fu exposed his identity, he didn't react at all.

Luo Fu said that Zen Master Baiyun was a demon or a monster, but that was actually a bit of an injustice to him.

When the essence of life transforms or evolves to a sufficient level, there is little difference between demons, monsters, good, and evil.

The birth of demons is due to discrimination. However, in higher dimensions of life, there is no such discrimination. There may be differences due to different levels of evolution of life essence, but there will be no difference because of discrimination.

In Buddhist scriptures, the definition and concept of Buddha is itself a great and imposing man, including the famous Guanyin Bodhisattva.

The manifestation of Guanyin Bodhisattva in female form is merely an incarnation, an image manifested to guide sentient beings; it is the manifestation body among the three bodies of Buddha.

The true essence is the Dharmakaya, the true life of the origin of life, which is inherently complete, without beginning or end, neither born nor dying, neither going nor coming, capable of generating all phenomena, and never being extinguished. It is the relic in the Heart Sutra, while in Taoism it is described as a concept such as a pre-natal infant.

The being that gave rise to Pudu Cihang and Baiyun Zen Master is very likely the terrifying being that caused the great upheaval in the world a hundred years ago, when the Dao declined and the demons rose.

Otherwise, it would be impossible for the differentiated and uniquely born Master Baiyun and Master Pudu Cihang to both become top-tier masters in this world.

These differentiated individuals are of no concern to that lofty being, whether they live or die, rise or fall. No matter how high they grow, they will eventually come to an end. Even if they perish halfway, it is still a kind of experience.

Simply relying on debates is completely meaningless for Zen Master Baiyun.

The only thing Luofu can do now is to completely send Master Baiyun to his final rest.

Of course, even if he didn't do that, Fahai and Zen Master Baiyun would still, under the impetus of destiny, sacrifice their own lives to deliver the fortune symbolizing the righteous path of heaven and earth into Luofu's hands.

This is independent of any individual's consciousness.

Fahai, puzzled but with a hint of expectation in his eyes, said, "Master Baiyun, this Moro is unrepentant. Let's join forces and capture this demon. In the future, this humble monk will accompany you to the capital."

That was a true Mara, capable of shaking the very foundations of Buddhism, far beyond what ordinary demons and monsters could compare to.

If he hadn't suffered a loss at Luofu's hands, how could Fahai, with his arrogance, have cooperated with Zen Master Baiyun at this moment?

It should be noted that in Fahai's mind, Luofu was the culprit who destroyed the Jinshan Temple's heritage and killed all the monks of Jinshan Temple.

"Sister, is this the terror of a great cultivator?" The green snake flicked its tongue, its expression ferocious, yet strangely, it gave off a feeling of lingering fear.

The white snake, its skin smooth and lustrous like jade, nodded slightly and said, "Xiao Qing, these great cultivators have truly reached a realm akin to gods and Buddhas."

"Gods and Buddhas?" Xiaoqing asked in surprise, "I saw Buddhas, but where are the gods?"

"The one fighting the Golden Buddha is a god," the White Snake said with unwavering conviction.

"Isn't that a demon?" Xiaoqing asked, bewildered and full of confusion.

In fact, while the battle between Luofu and Fahai seemed incredibly powerful, what truly attracted the attention of the surrounding cultivators and mortals was the majestic golden Buddha, an incarnation of Zen Master Baiyun, and the incarnation of Chiyou, an incarnation of Luofu.

It has four eyes and six hands, two horns on its head, and ears like swords and halberds. Each of its six hands holds a different magical weapon.

No matter how ferocious and terrifying his appearance may be, Chi You was still the true ancestor of Chinese civilization, an ancient deity who shared the lineage with the Yellow Emperor and the Yan Emperor.
