Chapter 18 The Emperor Takes Action

Chapter 18 The Emperor Takes Action

On the front battlefield, the Fearless Vanguard Corps had advanced to a street less than fifty meters away from the House of Representatives, and an endless stream of zombies poured out from under the giant demon's skirt.

The well-trained and fearless pioneers fought back relying on collapsed walls, statues, and various shelters.

Jarvan activated the power spear in his hand called the Spear of Asma and rushed towards these unconscious puppets that were controlled by the mind of the two-headed demon.

The solemn and dignified House Square has now turned into a bloody battlefield. Under the leadership of the Primarch, the brave and fearless warriors, just like the magnificent murals on the surrounding walls, continue the tragic battle between humans and evil gods that has lasted for thousands of years.

Maybe this war will never stop, but the situation today will change a little.

While the zombies' attention was drawn to Jarvan, the Primarch Galen climbed up the side wall, bypassed the flood of zombies below, and with the help of his grappling claws and powerful leg power modules, successfully climbed to the roof of the House of Representatives.

Above his head was a two-headed demon waving four tentacle-like arms and roaring madly at the sky. It was also the body in which the souls of his adoptive parents resided.

The two-headed demon's huge amber pupils reflected the sky filled with swirling dark red clouds.

In the center of the dark red cloud vortex, in an open space that looked very small from the ground perspective, ripples appeared in the void, the thin air expanded and surged outward, and a tiny black dot appeared in the center of the oscillation.

The power of chaos was pouring out from it. It was a power so evil that if an ordinary mortal got close to it, it would not take long for him to turn into an ugly monster with a twisted body.

Such is the horrific infectious power of the Chaos Gods. For example, the torsos of the Death Guard who worship Nurgle, the Chaos God of Corruption, are often bloated and rotten.

The extremely thick-edged metal boots stepped on the demon's bloated and wrinkled skin. Garen used these raised folds as a natural ladder to approach the demon's huge head.

Suddenly, a sturdy arm as big as half a street slapped down at him. The huge Primarch was like a small mosquito in front of this tentacle.

"Crippling blow!"

Garen roared, and the finely crafted power sword in his hand, named Storm Sword, emitted a soft yellow light.

In the blink of an eye, the Primarch appeared in front of the tentacles as if teleporting. He swung the broadsword in his hand and slashed on the tough skin of the tentacles.

The muscles, which were much stronger than metal, instantly bent inward and deformed. The outermost layer of skin tissue was torn apart under the tremendous force, revealing the yellow-green muscle tissue underneath.

The blow was powerful enough to split a mountain, but it failed to cut off one of the demon's tentacles. Garen was slightly surprised.

Using the force of the rebound, he leaped back onto the demon's body, his iron arms grasping the greasy skin to steady himself.

The severed tentacle swung into the sky, then slammed towards Garen with a sharp explosion that tore through the air.

The speed was so fast and the force was so strong that even from a distance of a hundred meters, the severe wind pressure pressed down on Garen. He felt like he was carrying a huge rock with increasing weight.

Garen kicked hard and shot out like an arrow, holding the hilt of the sword tightly with both hands, trying to use 50% of his strength this time.

However, something strange happened. One of the other three tentacles swept over from the side and stopped the tentacle attacking Garen in mid-air.

Garen widened his eyes, staring at one of the demon's heads in disbelief. The amber demon eyes with vertical pupils actually made him feel like they were the gaze of his father Pete.

"Dad!"

he shouted at the head.

The third tentacle caught Garen's falling body steadily and carried him to the pair of loving and guilty eyes.

"I'm really sorry, Garen, for causing so much trouble to you, Lux, and the people of Demacia. I'm not a good father, nor a good archon." The voice was transmitted directly into Garen's brain. Pete told Garen that the main consciousness of this body was Ogatha, who was bewitched and corrupted by the devil. It was extremely difficult to gain time to communicate with him, and this disaster must be ended as soon as possible.

He tried hard to hold back the tears in his eyes and asked Pete, "What should I do? How can I end this?"

"Kill me, my son, kill me and Ogatha."

Killing both parents, what a horrible word, no one in their right mind would do it.

But the cruel reality forced Galen to take action and kill his parents who raised him with his own hands.

In fact, he had already realized this when he killed Father Motos, and this is something he had to face.

But when the time came, he couldn't lift the sword in his hand.

He can cut off everything except the family affection in his heart.

At this time, low Earth orbit.

Emperor Fantasy.

"Father, I heard that the third Primarch brother has been found on this beautiful planet."

Horus, Primarch of the Luna Wolves, came to the bridge, stood behind his father the Emperor, and watched with him the fierce battle in the city.

This planet is beautiful in Horus' eyes. The planet where he grew up, Cthonia, is full of industrial bunkers on the surface. Toxic waste gas is the main component of the atmosphere. There are very few green plants, and the blue sea has only been seen in pictures in books.

Horus liked the planet where his Primarch brother grew up. It was rich and fertile, and the people were friendly, harmonious and intelligent. They had great artistic talent, as evidenced by the magnificent murals in the square.

He believed that he and this Primarch would get along well. Compared with the elegant swordsman noble Galen Crownguard, the second Primarch to be recovered, Space Wolf Leman Russ, was simply an uncivilized barbarian.

Horus hated his brother Primarch, not only because of his brutal behavior, but also because his presence diverted his father's attention from him.

The Emperor did not reply. He was concentrating on the battle on the ground and the gaze of the Chaos God hidden in the void.

But in Horus's view, such behavior meant that this Primarch brother was more favored by his father, so much so that he had no extra time to pay attention to him, the offspring who had been with the Emperor the longest.

This is what the Emperor is like, and Horus, as his heir, has a lot to consider.

An emotion called jealousy grows in my heart.

At this moment, Horus sensed that the power of the Emperor was increasing exponentially, and a dazzling flame-like light burst out from this man's majestic body.

Horus knew that his father was about to take action after a long absence.

Sure enough, the Emperor took out his weapon, an exquisite long sword wrapped in flames, the surging power in it could completely kill the demons of the Warp, leaving them no chance of rebirth.

The Emperor wielded his flaming sword, and his terrifying psychic power slashed towards Demacia.

Killing one's parents with one's own hands would leave an indelible scar in the Primarch's heart, and would become a sharp sword for the Chaos Gods to drag him into Chaos.

So, the emperor took action.
