Getting back to the main point, the Jade Emperor regained his composure and said, "Fellow Daoist Tianpeng, I originally intended for you to take a part of the severed Yin side and descend to the mortal realm to undergo tribulations, assist the pilgrims in overcoming the eighty-one tribulations, introduce Buddhism to the East, and thus restrain the human race."

"But the human race is powerful. Today, Xiang Yu has descended to the mortal realm, presumably for the purpose of obtaining the scriptures. With Xiang Yu blocking the way, it is unlikely that Sun Wukong alone will be able to overcome the eighty-one tribulations."

That's right, the Jade Emperor addressed Tianpeng as "fellow Daoist," not "Marshal" or "General."

Marshal Tianpeng, though not well-known in later generations, especially in Journey to the West, where the image of Pigsy leads many to believe he was merely a figure from the Heavenly Court, was actually one of the strongest under the Jade Emperor, a capable assistant, and one of the pillars of the Jade Emperor's forces.

Upon hearing this, Marshal Tianpeng spoke up, "Does Your Majesty mean that you want my true form to descend to the mortal realm?"

"But I have already cultivated the Primordial Dao Fruit, which has long surpassed the Taiyi Golden Immortal realm. Moreover, my true body is stationed in the North Pole Exorcism Institute, where I am united with the Great Dao of Thunder and control all matters of thunder in the Three Realms. If I leave, there will be no more talk of tribulation in the Three Realms."

"His Majesty established the Heavenly Tribulation by the decree of the Dao Ancestor to restrict the beings of the Three Realms. If there is no Heavenly Tribulation, and the immeasurable calamity is brought forward, then there will be trouble."

Upon hearing this, the Jade Emperor immediately shook his head and said, "Fellow Daoist Tianpeng, please rest assured. The Heavenly Tribulation should not be taken lightly. In order to unite with the righteous path of thunder, you have severed your own yin side, the greed, laziness, desires and many other evil thoughts that living beings possess. You have paid such a price to establish the Heavenly Tribulation. How can you easily let go?"

Tianpeng was the most outstanding figure under his command. Since the original body left Zixiao Palace, there were only five top combat forces in the Heavenly Court: himself, the Queen Mother of Yaochi, the Eastern King Duke, Marshal Tianpeng, and Taibai Jinxing.

I am a being enlightened by the Lord, and the Queen Mother, the Eastern King Duke, Tianpeng, and Taibai Jinxing are all innate deities.

Of course, Tianpeng and Taibai Jinxing were conceived relatively late and had not cultivated for very long, so their cultivation level was somewhat lower.

The Yin aspect slashed by Marshal Tianpeng is not like severing the Three Corpses. Although the Three Corpses possess power comparable to the original body, that power only comes from the spiritual treasures that contain them. However, severing all evil thoughts is different. These severed evil thoughts have nothing to rely on, and their ability to maintain combat strength comparable to the original body still depends on the original body's magical power.

All living beings are divided into good and evil, and this applies to sages as well, not to mention those below the sage level.

Even the most upright living being will still have other thoughts arising in its mind. If it has no evil thoughts or desires, then it cannot be considered a living being.

As long as Tianpeng is alive, he will have thoughts, and with thoughts come good and evil intentions. However, in order to unite with the Great Dao of Thunder, Tianpeng separates his good and evil intentions, making one the main one, and taking charge of the North Pole Exorcism Institute, and sitting in the Heavenly Court.

The Way of Heaven is impartial, and so is Heavenly Thunder. If one wants to wield the Heavenly Thunder and the Northern Exorcism Academy, it is naturally impossible to have impure thoughts or be biased. This is the expedient method that Tianpeng came up with.

"In the Three Realms, he could even be considered a good person. We all think there's no problem with him. It's just that you're worried and unwilling to let him go."

"This is both your evil thoughts and what you think. You are stationed at the North Pole Exorcism Institute, never idle for a moment, without any desires, working diligently day after day to contribute to the Heavenly Court."

"Let your evil thoughts go to the Three Realms to enjoy happiness."

Upon hearing this, Tianpeng's brows remained furrowed, and he did not readily agree. Tianpeng was still worried that if he released this evil thought, it would cause unrest in the world and bring disaster to the Three Realms.

It's more reassuring to suppress them in the Heavenly Court than to put them in the outside world.

As for his evil thoughts not being able to bear this life, that doesn't matter. Anyway, he has already cut off his evil thoughts and doesn't care about these things. As his evil thoughts, he should be able to understand his good intentions and restrain his desires.

But things are different now. The human race is powerful, and one race has even suppressed the Heavenly Court, which rules the Three Realms, so it cannot be allowed to continue like this.

After thinking for a long time, Marshal Tianpeng finally nodded and said, "Very well. The situation is dire now. Although he is lazy, he is still a part of me. He must be good at fighting and have some skills."

At the same time, all 365 main stars of the Heavenly Court lit up with dazzling starlight.
