Chapter 29: Efficient Fighting Method

At this moment, a battle was taking place in this small town with only about a thousand people. The villagers used all kinds of debris to block the only two entrances and exits of the town, but such obstacles could only block it temporarily.

Beastmen attacks on towns happen every year, and these beastmen will kill the weaker beastmen in order to consume the excess population, but no one expected that the beastmen's attack this time would be so fierce.

Originally, the town leader wanted to lead his troops out to kill those beastmen to earn military merit for himself, but unfortunately he lost his life.

There were bursts of terrified cries coming from the town, and the cries of women and children were particularly creepy.

The frightened voices of the humans made the beastmen even more excited.

"Reorganize the formation! Beastmen spotted ahead! Prepare for battle!"

The fighting instinct made the remaining beastmen realize that if they stood here they would only be made into sitting ducks, and they had to take the initiative to attack!
They used their hooves to rush towards the shield wall of the soldiers at a speed far exceeding that of humans!
"Prepare to resist the charge!" shouted the officer in the formation.

The infantry phalanxes that were originally advancing slowly stopped together. Each soldier placed his shield on his chest, and the soldiers behind him supported the backs of the soldiers in front to provide support.

The twelve phalanxes were like twelve efficient killing machines, advancing step by step, leaving these beastmen in a state of neither attack nor retreat, with the aggressive human phalanx in front and the metal monster Chimera and Lord Ludwig behind.

They can't beat anyone.

Several centaurs began to move their four hooves quickly in an attempt to use their speed advantage to escape the encirclement, but Gulman and his knights were waiting for this moment.

"Knights, let these guys know what a knight is!" Gurman rushed out quickly on his warhorse.

With the charge bonus, he was obviously twice as fast as other ordinary imperial knights, and the warhorse ran at a speed that it shouldn't have.

The next battle became easier.
