1. Qian Chuanying

When Gao Li of Huzhou rebelled, Qian Biao was appointed as the commander-in-chief to suppress the rebellion, and was later appointed as the governor of Huzhou. However, he was addicted to alcohol, and Qian Liu often criticized him for his alcoholism. Qian Biao thought that this was his brother's deliberate suppression of him and weakened his prestige within the group, so he was often resentful.

On October 911, 10, Qian Biao drank heavily again and took advantage of his drunkenness to kill Qian Liu's spies stationed in Huzhou - the defense commander (some say the military supervisor) Pan Liang and the prosecutor Zhong De, and then defected to Huainan.

Although Qian Biao's record was not brilliant, and he often returned empty-handed and failed to rescue, he was the one who made the most contributions among his brothers. Even if he had no merits, he had worked hard. Qian Liu actually valued him very much. For example, after recovering Wuzhou, he appointed Qian Biao as the governor of Wuzhou, and after recovering Huzhou, he appointed him as the governor of Huzhou. Sitting in the newly recovered land and pacifying the rebels and the people, it shows that the leader not only trusted his loyalty, but also recognized his work ability.

However, he ruined his own future by betraying his country and joining the enemy.

When Qian Biao defected, his two sons were still in Hangzhou, the eldest was only 5 years old, and the second was less than 1 year old. Qian Liu adopted the two nephews, treated them like his own sons, and named them "Qian Ketuan" and "Qian Keyuan", hoping that one day Qian Biao would change his mind and the family would be reunited again.

Unfortunately, Qian Biao never came back until his death.

"Wu Yue Bei Shi" said that he participated in the battle to rescue Suzhou with General Du Jianhui in 909 and won a great victory; but "Shi Guo Chun Qiu" recorded that it was Comrade Qian Biao who rescued Suzhou with Du Jianhui.

Even if it was Qian Duo who saved Suzhou, there is no other record of his fighting.

It is said that when Qian Hua was born, his father, Comrade Qian Kuan, passed away. At that time, Qian Liu was already 44 years old (a thumbs up to Comrade Qian Kuan who is still as sharp as a sword), so Qian Hua was actually raised by Qian Liu. They were brothers in name, but in fact they were like father and son. Later, when Qian Liu passed away, Qian Hua requested to send his brother, who was like a father, off in a proper manner with the ceremony of a son and nephew rather than a brother. The most incredible thing is that when Qian Hua was born, he had a tattoo on the palm of his hand, which was a "king", but it gradually faded and disappeared as he grew older. I personally think it should be a birthmark, maybe it disappeared naturally, or maybe he tried to remove it himself to avoid suspicion.

Unlike his previous brothers, Qian Hua should be considered a "rich second generation". Qian Liu had basically laid the foundation for the Wu Yue Kingdom at that time. So unlike his third brother Qian Biao who was "brave and good at fighting at a young age", Qian Hua was "versatile and good at painting", especially Danqing.
