Captain Jack of Azeroth

Chapter 117 Both sides take it all

Chapter 117: Playing Both Sides
Jack looked at Habron in astonishment. "Sir, what do you mean by that? We haven't even left the ship, so how could we possibly see the Shield of Aggramar?"

At this point, he said aggrievedly: "I knew it would be like this. I shouldn't have been greedy for the reward you mentioned. I should have left here directly. I have so many shipwreck treasures to dig, why should I help you attack Skold Ashil!"

"Hablon!" Jiang Du couldn't help but say, "The Black Pearl hasn't even docked yet. You're too suspicious."

Hablon said coldly: "Whether you are suspicious or not, we will know after verification."

As he spoke, he raised the lantern. The green light from the lantern shone onto the Black Pearl, which gradually became transparent, revealing all the items inside.

The crew members panicked and looked at Habron in awe. The magic of this Vikus was too strange. They quietly covered their vital parts, fearing that Habron would spy on them.

Jack's heart tightened. It seemed that he had to transform the Black Pearl as soon as possible. The Black Pearl was a magic ship from Hades. Hela must have a way to control it. Habron was Hela's spokesperson in the real world, so he could naturally control it.

We might have to deal with Habron frequently in the future, so we must not let him control the Black Pearl. Otherwise, once we start a war with Hades, the Black Pearl will be controlled by Hela or Habron before it even opens fire, and there will be no point in fighting!

Habron scanned the entire Black Pearl but did not find the Shield of Aggramar, and couldn't help feeling disappointed.

Jiang Du said, "Now we can prove Jack's innocence, right?"

Habron nodded, "Okay! I was too suspicious!"

Jack looked at the two men with grievance, but said, "You can't blame Lord Hablon. After all, there are only three of us on the battlefield. It's normal for Lord Hablon to have doubts. Now that the doubts are gone and the misunderstandings are resolved, it's good."

When Jiang Du heard Jack's "considerate" words, he immediately looked at Habron, "Jack has helped us many times, but he didn't get any benefits. Instead, he gave us the treasure of a sunken ship. This time he helped us capture Skold Asher, so we have to give him a suitable reward."

Habron nodded. What he cared about most now was the Shield of Aggramar. He didn't care what kind of mission reward Jack was given. "You can handle this matter!"

Jiang Du said: "We took away part of Jack's soul before, we should return it to him first."

Hablon thought it made sense, so he reached out and drew out a ray of light from the lantern and sent it into Jack's body.

Jack was somewhat resistant in his heart, but he dared not show it. He finally got rid of his original soul, but he did not expect to be sent back again.

When the original soul entered his body, Jack instantly felt the negative emotions such as fear growing. Fortunately, the courage of the ancient kings provided him with protection, which allowed him to suppress these negative emotions.

Jiang Du led his men into the cabin, and soon came out with more than a dozen boxes, which he moved onto the Black Pearl.

Placing the box on the deck, Jiang Du said, "These are all magic materials from the deep sea. For the human world, these magic materials are priceless."

Jack was delighted when he saw the magical corals, pearls and gems in the box. These magical materials were much better than Frog's. If he really sold them, he could get at least millions of gold coins.

Of course, Jack would not sell these precious magic materials. Who would be willing to sell these things when they are not available even if they want to?

"Mr. Jiang Du, thank you so much. I am very satisfied with these rewards."

Jiang Du patted Jack on the shoulder and said, "Jack, I admire you very much. We will have opportunities to cooperate with each other in the future."

Jack was flattered and said, "I am willing to serve you at any time."

Jiang Du encouraged Jack a few words before returning to the Naglfar. Habron nodded to Jack and drove the Naglfar north. Jack saw the giant ship off before ordering it to sail south.

Soon, the Black Pearl passed by Skold Ashil, which was already ablaze with corpses of Vikus everywhere. The body of the arrogant God King Skovald was hung on a pillar in the port, as if to warn everyone that this was the fate of offending the Naglfar.

Nadro came over and said, "Jack, should we go ashore? The strange ship left in a hurry, so it should have left a lot of property behind."

Jack said calmly, "The Vikus are not extinct. If they think we are the attackers, we will be in a lot of trouble. The valuables must have been taken away by Habron. It is not worth offending the Vikus for something worthless."

"All right!"

Nadro sighed, feeling uncomfortable that he couldn't take the money.

Guided by the magic compass, Jack steered the Black Pearl out of the fjord. It was already daylight, and Jack immediately turned east and headed straight for the port of Rune Forest.

Coming here again, the Viku people have become much more enthusiastic.

Jack greeted the familiar Vikings along the way and then came to the hill where Harvey was.

The elves appeared at the right time and handed the Shield of Aggramar to Jack.

When Harvey saw the Shield of Aggramar, he was immediately delighted. He walked towards Jack and said, "Jack, you really kept your promise. I was right about you."

Jack stopped and asked with a smile, "Sir Harvey, I have obtained the Shield of Aggramar. I wonder how your reward is prepared?"

Harvey said helplessly: "You really only care about money!"

"Don't worry, I have prepared generous rewards."

Jack glanced at the boxes where Harvey had just stood. "Isn't this all the treasure you prepared?"

When Harvey heard this, his face darkened, "These treasures are enough for you to live a good life."

Jack laughed disdainfully. "My money is enough for me to live a good life - no, a luxurious life for the rest of my life. Sir Harvey, if you can't give me a satisfactory reward, you may have to say goodbye to the Shield of Aggramar. If I give it to Hela, she will definitely reward me with a divine artifact."

Harvey rolled his eyes. "Do you think the artifact is the tranquilizing flower? You can pick one up anywhere."

He thought for a moment and said, "Since you are not satisfied with these treasures, I can use the Shield of Aggramar to bless you."

Jack's heart moved. The blessing of the Tidestone had benefited him a lot. If he could get the blessing of the Shield of Aggramar, he would definitely gain a lot.

However, he still pointed at the treasures and said, "No problem, but since you have brought all the treasures here, I will accept them with reluctance. After all, it is a token of your kindness."

Harvey was speechless and waved his hand for Jack to take the treasure away.

Then he took the Shield of Aggramar, unsealed it, and blessed Jack.
