Captain Jack of Azeroth
Chapter 21 Escape failed
Chapter 21 Escape failed
Jack looked at the Naga in surprise. Could he be the first Naga gourmet?
Apparently, Jack was overthinking it.
Naga, who was watching from the side, became impatient and snatched the remaining grouper, swallowing the bones and internal organs together. He roared at the "gourmet", obviously disliking him for wasting his time.
The "gourmet" shrank back and leaned back, then obediently picked up the grouper and started eating it, enjoying it very much.
Jack rolled his eyes. He couldn't have any expectations of the Naga race.
Male Nagas have muscles all over their heads, making them qualified soldiers and perfect consumables. On the other hand, Naga witches are all very powerful and immortal.
While eating sashimi, Jack was thinking about how to trick those idiots away.
In order to guard him, the Naga witch sent a total of eight Naga warriors. Four stood with their backs to the prison cell at the four corners, and four stood not far away, staring at the prison cell, not letting Jack out of their sight.
In order to escape from this prison, Jack has to face several problems, and these Nagas are the most important one.
At this moment, a huge shark suddenly swam over from a distance. Several Naga warriors swam over and wanted to kill the shark, but the shark was a bit fierce and the Naga warriors were unable to kill it for a while.
Jack's eyes lit up immediately. He walked to the front of the cell and pointed at the shark. "Look, they can't even beat a shark."
The Naga warriors immediately turned their heads, took a look, and turned back.
Jack saw their reactions and slapped his head, "I'm stupid too. They don't understand the common language."
Thinking of this, he immediately laughed out loud, pointing in the direction of the great shark, and said sarcastically: "I don't know who said that Naga is the overlord of the sea, but it turns out that it can't even beat a shark. It's really funny."
Although the Nagas didn't understand Jack's words, they knew it was not a good thing when they saw Jack's annoying look. They were a little stupid, but not stupid.
They felt a little embarrassed, so they left four Naga warriors beside the cell to continue watching Jack, while the other four swam over to support him.
Jack watched the other four Nagas impatiently stand outside, and suddenly he felt proud. He smiled as he approached the cell door, pulled a key from his waist, poked it into the keyhole, and poked it a few times before the lock opened. Jack was overjoyed, and immediately opened the cell door and rushed out.
However, as soon as he stepped out of the prison door, Jack was surrounded by sea water and his speed suddenly slowed down.
Naga heard the door open and turned around immediately. When she saw Jack running out, she rushed over and pinned him down.
Jack struggled several times, but he couldn't get free. Less than a minute after escaping, Jack was put back into the cell.
The first escape failed...
Back in the cage, Jack sighed. He looked at the key in Naga's hand reluctantly, because he had specifically asked Fizmos for it.
When the two escaped, Fizmos wanted to throw away the key to Harindor's safe, as the sight of it reminded him of the past. Now things have changed, and Harindor and his old friends on the Spray Goddess have all become undead, which makes people depressed.
Jack stopped Fizmos and asked for the key. The key also belonged to the field of engineering, so he kept it in case it might be useful someday.
He was just thinking of it as a precaution, but he didn't expect it to actually be used.
After the Naga witch left, he studied the door lock and had a pretty good understanding of the structure inside. While cutting sashimi, he quietly modified the key.
What a pity... Naga lifted the key, shook it at Jack, and then let go, and the key fell to the bottom of the sea. Seeing Jack's regretful look, the Nagas couldn't help but laugh triumphantly.
Jack held the dagger in frustration and continued to eat sashimi. He began to think about the second problem he was about to face, how to solve the problem of slowing down in the water.
It’s too late to practice swimming now!
He rolled his eyes, if he couldn't solve the problem of deceleration, he could only think of a way to deal with these four Nagas. Thinking of this, Jack clenched the dagger in his hand and cut the fish meat one by one.
The four Nagas saw that Jack had calmed down and continued to stand guard with their backs turned.
Jack used a dagger to cut the fish bone into the shape of a key, quietly went to the door and unlocked it. He suddenly opened the prison door and rushed directly to the Naga next to the cage, and the dagger pierced his neck directly.
The other three Naga warriors rushed over immediately, but it took some time to bypass the cage. During this time, Jack had already kicked away the stabbed Naga and pounced on the Naga behind him, stabbing his head with a dagger.
The other two Naga warriors were stunned. They never expected Jack to be so brave.
While they were distracted, Jack immediately jumped back into the cage, took a deep breath, and swam quickly upwards.
The Naga warriors quickly chased after him and soon caught up with Jack. Jack turned around suddenly, scaring them, and when they stopped, they found that Jack was still floating upwards.
Just as they were chasing him again, Jack had already jumped onto the rock, kicked his legs hard, and rushed out of the sea.
"call--"
Jack let out a long sigh, feeling excited that he had finally escaped.
He looked around and found that he was not far from Stromgarde. He only needed to swim a few miles to reach the coast. So he swam towards the coast as fast as he could.
He didn't swim far before the two Naga warriors caught up with him. They entangled Jack and slowed him down.
Jack was anxious and wanted to kill the two Nagas, but the two Nagas did not get close to Jack at all. They just swam around Jack and used the water current to drag Jack's legs.
Soon, the Naga witch and a large group of Naga warriors caught up. She raised her hand and a whirlwind trapped Jack in the middle, and finally transformed into a chain to tie Jack up.
Jack:…
The Naga witch looked at Jack with amusement, "You really surprised me. You can even escape from a cage guarded by eight people."
Jack sighed, "It's not like he ran away."
The Naga witch said: "No mortal can escape from my hands."
"Mortal?" Jack pretended to be surprised. "Are you not a mortal? Are you a god?"
"You might as well think so."
The Naga witch smiled like a charlatan and was very satisfied with Jack's shock.
"Okay, now you can tell me about yourself. You're not an ordinary person, are you?"
