Captain Jack of Azeroth

Chapter 3 Sailor Sam

Chapter 3 Sailor Sam
The soldier handed Jack a towel and a basin of water, "Go clean the deck!"

Jack rubbed his face and walked to the guardrail unhappily.

The water for cleaning the deck was pumped up from the sea, and there was an old sailor who was responsible for pumping water. Jack walked to the side of the boat, and a wave hit him, almost throwing him into the sea. Fortunately, the old sailor grabbed him and said, "Hey, man, be careful."

"Thank you!"

Jack thanked him subconsciously, his face turned pale, and he was a little dazed. Fear became the trigger of his stress response, and he remembered that night again.

"Wow!"

The sailor filled Jack's basin and reminded him, "Hurry up and get to work! Otherwise those guys will beat you again."

Jack got up and was about to pick up the basin, but because the basin was too heavy, he could only lift one side. The whole basin of water spilled on the deck. Jack stared blankly at the wooden basin, not knowing what he was thinking.

"You damn bastard, you brought me garbage and can't even carry a basin of water." The soldier rushed over cursing, kicked Jack to the deck, and beat him up.

The old sailor couldn't bear it and reminded him, "If you keep fighting, there will be one less person to work. Then, you may have to replace him to do the work."

The soldier then stopped and spat at Jack, "Get to work!"

He was about to turn around and leave when someone pulled his trouser leg. When he turned around, it was Jack.

Jack endured the pain, pounced on the soldier, and grabbed the lucky rabbit's foot on the soldier's waist, "This is mine!"

The soldier was furious and hit Jack in the face with his knee. Jack was beaten and bleeding, but he pulled the lucky rabbit's foot off and held it tightly under his body. The soldier reached out to grab it, but Jack bit his finger and screamed in pain.

"what--"

The screams attracted other soldiers, who instead of helping, laughed at the scene.

"Haha - Luo Rui, you were actually bitten by a beggar!"

"You are such a loser, Rory, he hasn't eaten for days!"

"Tsk, tsk, how many silver coins did you give to Baron Dex before he would let you join the guard?"

Soldier Luo Rui was furious. He drew the sword from his waist and was about to kill Jack.

"No killing on the ship!" the old sailor shouted beside him.

Rory glared at the old sailor and knocked Jack unconscious with the hilt of his sword. He opened Jack's mouth and pulled back the bleeding finger. Rory looked at Jack with hatred. He wanted to take the lucky rabbit's foot back, but when he saw the blood on the lucky rabbit's foot, he immediately felt disgusted.

He didn't intend to return the lucky rabbit's foot to Jack for nothing. He kicked Jack in the ass and said, "Behave yourself from now on."

Luo Rui looked back and saw that the others were still standing there. He immediately shouted in a majestic manner, "What are you still standing here for? Why don't you go to work?"

Everyone dispersed and returned to their posts, leaving Jack alone on the deck.

The old sailor Sam came over and dragged Jack back to the cabin. He took out the ointment and applied it on Jack. "He is such a stubborn kid. He is just like him."

Sam was willing to help Jack, not only because he felt sorry for Jack, but also because Jack looked like an old friend of his.

The next day, Jack woke up. Although he applied ointment, he still felt sore all over.

Even so, he still couldn't escape the fate of working. Fortunately, Sam didn't assign him too heavy work because of his injury, and asked others to share more and help him complete the work.

This made the other strong men very upset, and they looked at Jack with hatred. Rory and Sam didn't dare to offend him, so they could only secretly keep an eye on Jack. When they saw Jack alone, they would hit him. They were very measured in their attacks, only hitting Jack to hurt him, but not to hurt him. Once Jack was injured, all of Jack's work would fall on their heads.

It would be better to have a sweet dream at night than to expect Sam to transfer some people from the sailors!
Every time he was beaten, Jack would take a long time to recover before he could get up. This time, before he could get up, he was caught by Sam. Sam helped him to the forecastle, "Did they bully you again?"

Jack smiled and did not complain, because he knew that complaining was useless and the only way to stop him from being bullied was for him to become stronger.

Sam: "You'll live here from now on!"

Jack nodded. It was necessary to hide until he became stronger.

So, Jack rested in the forecastle cabin every night.

When he had free time, Sam would teach Jack some knowledge about the sea, such as walking with your feet turned inward on the boat; not using too much strength when standing, but using soft strength; eating quickly, and not drinking from a cup...

Soon, Jack adapted to life on the ship and looked like a sailor. He only got seasick and vomited when there were strong winds and waves.

But this did not change his fate of being beaten. The strong men were jealous of him getting Sam's help, so they beat him even harder.

"Didn't Sam help you? Why didn't he hang you on the belt?"

"Do you really think we won't dare to hit you just because Sam is here?"

"Didn't Sam teach you how to be a sailor? Why didn't you fight back?"

Say Sam and Sam will appear.

"What are you doing?"

The men were frightened when they heard Sam's shout. They wanted to escape, but where could they run to on the boat?

Sam walked over and slapped each of them. After being hit, they didn't dare to fight back, which was a perfect example of bullying the weak and fearing the strong.

After driving them away, Sam helped Jack up. "I can't control it too much, or they will get back at you in a more aggressive way."

Jack nodded in understanding.

Even so, the men still hated Jack even more, and they began to act in an organized manner, some keeping watch while others took action, and they suddenly became unprecedentedly united, as if Jack had tied them to the boat.

If they were really brave, they should not have bothered Jack, but went after the sailors. As long as they killed the sailors and took control of the ship, they would be free.

But unfortunately, they don't have the courage.

In this way, Jack endured their humiliation every day until they met another ship on the sea. The ship had three sails and was very fast. When it approached, it quickly raised a skull flag.

"PIRARS!" Sam screamed, piercing the eardrums of everyone on the ship.

The soldiers immediately rushed onto the deck. They had not even put on their armor and only had time to pick up their weapons.

However, what greeted them was a huge, pitch-black cannon barrel.
