Captain Jack of Azeroth

Chapter 300 Titan Guardian

Chapter 300 Titan Guardian

In Stars' Rest, Jack brought Sylvanas back to discuss matters concerning Ulduar.

Sylvanas fell silent after hearing what happened. She reminded him, "Jack, you have to know that it is difficult for us to attack the Frozen Throne with our current forces. If we delay any further, the Lich King's army will be even larger."

Jack nodded, "I know, but if we can resolve the situation in Ulduar, we will have new allies, which will be very beneficial to us."

"Moreover, the geographical environment of Storm Peaks is much better than that of Icecrown. Our army needs to gradually adapt to the severe cold, and Storm Peaks is just the right place."

Sylvanas spread her hands, "Alright! Just treat it as training."

What Jack said was true. If you want to attack the Frozen Throne, you do need to adapt to the severe cold first. Because the Northern Expedition cannot just attack the Frozen Throne, otherwise the endless undead army of Icecrown Glacier will drag down the Northern Expedition.

To attack Icecrown, they must deal with extreme cold weather. The undead are not afraid of the cold, but the Northern Expedition Army is not. Therefore, adapting to the cold is a step that the Northern Expedition Army must go through.

Arcane spells can solve the problem of cold, but they require a large amount of magic materials, and they are precious magic materials. Not to mention whether the Northern Expedition Army can afford it, even if it can, it can't find so many magic materials.

After making the decision, Jack immediately sent his troops to Storm Peaks, where he encountered the first creature, the Frostborn Dwarf.

Jack sent a dwarf messenger to contact the Frostborn Dwarves and obtained the new appointment of the Frostborn Dwarves. The Frostborn Dwarves are the natives of Storm Peaks and know a lot of intelligence.

The Frostborn Dwarf told Jack that something was indeed happening in Ulduar. "A long time ago, Angrim, the King of the Ice Giants, killed Sif, the wife of Thorim, the King of Storms. Thorim led the Storm Giants to attack the Ice Giants, but the war was finally stopped by Loken, the King of Wisdom."

"Loken exiled Thorim and imprisoned the Ice King Hodir in Ulduar. Over the years, the ice giants have been trying to rescue Hodir, but they can't even enter the gate of Ulduar. I think they may know something."

"Do you know where the ice giant is?" Jack requested.

The Frostbring dwarf nodded.

"Please point out the direction and we'll go there now!"

Jack invited him to board the Black Pearl and head to the gathering place of the ice giants. One day later, they arrived at the gathering place of the ice giants and Jack asked the frost vein dwarves to introduce the ice giants to him.

The Ice Giant King Yokum was surprised by the Frostborn Dwarf's visit. After the Frostborn Dwarf conveyed Jack's meaning, Yokum was even more surprised.

"You mean the humans want to join us in attacking Ulduar?"

"That's right!" said the Frostborn Dwarf. "Jack Sparrow is a legendary pirate. What he did is worthy of being praised. We heard of his reputation a few years ago. He went to war with the Lich King for the humans living in Northrend. You should know how powerful the Lich King is, so we shouldn't doubt Captain Jack's words. He really wants to deal with Ulduar if there is really a problem with Ulduar."

"Of course there is something wrong with Ulduar!" Yokum said loudly.

"Then let's make it clear with Captain Jack."

"All right!"

So, Jack was invited to the gathering place of the ice giants, and Yokum told him the secret of Ulduar.

"Captain Jack, Angrim didn't kill Sif. This was all a frame-up by Loken. After Hodir was captured, we sneaked into Ulduar many times and finally figured out everything. It was Loken who killed Sif and put the blame on Angrim. We wanted to explain to Lord Thorim, but he has been hiding in the Storm Temple high in the mountains, and we can't climb up at all."

"Do you have any evidence?" Jack asked.

Yokum pulled out a stone plate and said, "Here is the evidence."

Jack took the stone plate and activated the scene recorded on it: a kind giant said to another tall giant: "Hodir, you will stay here forever! As for your ice giant, you will always be hunted down by Thorim, that fool. That fool still believes that Sif was killed by Angrim, hahahaha..."

Jack tilted his head. Could the King of Wisdom really do such a stupid thing?

"Are you sure this arrogant guy is the legendary King of Wisdom Loken?"

Yokum nodded. "Although this is indeed hard to believe, we did not falsify the stone disc. Lord Thorim will find a way to verify it. There is no need for us to lie to him."

Jack groaned for a moment, "Tell me the location of the Temple of Storms, and I will give it to Thorim."

Yokum pointed to the high mountains in the west and said, "The Temple of Storms is there, but you must be careful. It is said that Lord Thorim has a powerful proto-dragon."

Jack smiled and said, "Thanks for your concern!"

With the firepower of the Black Pearl, even if it encounters a guardian dragon, it can still make it survive. No matter how powerful the ancestor dragon is, it will not have the divine power of a guardian dragon.

Taking the stone plate, Jack drove the Black Pearl to the mountain. As expected, there was a huge palace on the mountain, which was Thorim's Storm Temple.

Before the Black Pearl could get close, a gigantic Proto-dragon soared into the sky and rushed towards the Black Pearl.

Jack immediately controlled the cannon and forced the Proto-Dragon back with a single volley of fire. Then he said, "I'm Jack Sparrow, and I want to see Lord Thorim!"

The Proto-Dragon paused, staring at the Black Pearl for a while before spitting out a breath of dragon's breath, as if to warn Jack. Then, it returned to the Storm Temple and let out a dragon's roar.

A giant walked out of the Temple of Storms, and every move he made was accompanied by thunder and lightning.

"Who is it? How dare you disturb the great Thorim!"

Jack brought the Black Pearl closer, "Jack Sparrow, with the sincerity of the ice giant, requests to see Lord Thorim!"

"Ice Giant?" Thorim was immediately furious. "Those bastards actually dared to come after me. I will destroy them all."

Jack raised his eyebrows, "Lord Thorim, please take a look at the stone plate I brought before you make a decision!"

Thorim looked at Jack in confusion, but Jack ignored him and used magic to send the stone disc to him. This guy was a little confused, so Jack didn't bother to convince him.

Looking at the stone plate in front of him, although Thorim felt confused, he still reached out and picked up the stone plate to look at the contents inside.

When he finished reading, he was immediately furious. As he became furious, countless thunders rose up around him.

"No, this is impossible! Locke would never do such a thing! You are lying to me..."

Jack said coldly: "You can verify the authenticity of the stone disc. I think this is not a difficult task for a Titan Guardian."

Thorim became cautious when he heard this. He cast a spell on the stone disk, and the result shocked him.

The contents recorded in this stone plate are actually true.
