Captain Jack of Azeroth
Chapter 83 Making the Deal
Chapter 83 Making the Deal
Vereesa: "Rom, can you contact that wizard?"
Rom shook his head. "The wizard told me to take you to Grim Batol right after I rescued you."
Jack was afraid that Rom would notice something, so he immediately suggested, "Then let's go now!"
Falstad also said: "That's right, we should set off as soon as possible so that we can rescue Ronin as soon as possible."
Vereesa also agreed to this proposal, and Rom did not delay and led the way with the hill dwarves. The three of them walked behind, and Vereesa asked Falstad: "This is the first time I have heard of hill dwarves. Aren't there only three types of dwarves?"
Falstad explained: "The Hill Dwarves are actually a branch of the Wildhammer Dwarves. After we abandoned Grim Batol, some of us went north to Aerie Mountain. Another part went to the eastern Northron area and called themselves Hill Dwarves."
Vereesa nodded. She had heard about Northeron. It was an area with a relatively harsh environment.
Halfway through, Roma suddenly stopped.
"What happened?" Falstad asked quickly.
"That wizard contacted me!" Rom took out a badge, and an image of a high elf wizard popped up on the badge.
Mage: "Rom, thank you for saving them--"
"No! Mage!" Rom interrupted him quickly, "When we arrived, they had already finished the battle. These three heroes killed more than a hundred trolls. They are so powerful that they don't need us to rescue them at all."
The High Elf Mage was stuck. Things were not going as he expected. He glanced at Vereesa and Falstad, and finally set his sights on Jack, who was not in his plan.
Vereesa came over and took the badge from Rom, "Mr. Mage, how is Ronin now?"
"He is imprisoned in Grim Batol and is not in danger for the time being."
The High Elf Mage said: "According to my plan, I want to let Rhonin appear in the orcs' field of vision, so that the orcs will feel that Grim Batol is no longer safe. In this way, they will move from Grim Batol to other places, so that I can take action on the road."
Veresa suddenly realized that although she had only heard a brief description of the plan, this plan was feasible to a certain extent and Roning did not have to take too many risks.
It's just, "How did Ronin get into Grim Batol?"
Mage: "There was an accident in the plan. Someone else was involved and sent Rhonin to Grim Batol. The result was much better than I expected. The orcs are already preparing to move. If you can't rescue Rhonin before the orcs move, he may be killed by the orcs."
When Veresa heard this, she immediately became anxious and said, "We will get to work as soon as possible."
She looked at Jack, who spread his hands and said, "Since you already know Ronin's situation, I will take my leave now."
"Come on, Jack!"
Jack spread his hands, "Ma'am, as you said, I am just a pirate and have no obligation to help you rescue people. Now that we have found Ronin, it is enough for me to repay Fern's favor."
Veresa was speechless. She wanted to use her charm to seduce Jack into agreeing to help.
As a result, Jack didn't even look at her, and turned to Falstad. "Sir, I can only help you here. Goodbye."
"Goodbye!" Falstad smiled bitterly. Without Jack, their rescue operation would be very difficult. But Jack had already fulfilled his promise, so he couldn't let Jack risk his life to help.
After all, not everyone can sacrifice themselves for others.
"Jack, wait a moment." The high elf wizard said at this time: "I wonder if you will accept the job?"
Jack spread his hands, "I don't have time for now, I still have to find my sword."
As he said this, Jack looked at Veresa with dissatisfaction. If it weren't for her, there wouldn't be so many things.
"Sword? What sword?"
Vereesa smiled awkwardly and briefly told the wizard about Quelnath. After hearing this, the wizard immediately said, "Jack, if you help me rescue Ronin, I will give you an epic magic sword as a reward."
Jack was immediately attracted.
Vereesa and the others didn't know who this mage was, but he knew it all. Krasus, the red dragon lurking in Dalaran. He was already thousands of years old, and he must have countless collections. An epic magic sword that could be used as a reward shouldn't be too bad, right?
"make a deal!"
Veresa immediately rolled her eyes. This damn pirate was just like the goblin, never doing anything without benefits.
Falstad was delighted, "Great, Jack, with your participation, our chances of rescuing Ronin will be greatly increased."
The group continued on their way, and when they reached the foot of Grim Batol, Rom said, "Everyone, that is Grim Batol. We will say goodbye here, and I wish you all the best."
"Thank you!"
Falstad and the hill dwarves said goodbye reluctantly, and when he turned around, he saw Vereesa and Jack huddled together and whispering.
Vereesa was an expert in stealth. So when they sneaked into Grim Batol, Vereesa took the lead. On the way, Vereesa taught the two the skills of stealth, as Falstad was clumsy and always made big moves.
Jack, however, learned very well and made rapid progress. By the time he arrived at the gate of Grim Batol, he had already learned how to sneak.
This surprised Veresa very much, and she looked at Jack deeply.
Jack teased, "Beauty, don't look at me like that, or I'll think you're attracted to me!"
Wen Leisha raised the corner of her mouth, gently stroked her hair, and made a charming expression, "I just like you."
Jack laughed, not believing her at all. He did not respond to Veresa's words, lest he be tricked by this scheming woman.
Under the guidance of Vereesa, the three of them successfully entered the castle. The interior of Grim Batol was very large, and the three of them had no idea where Ronin was imprisoned.
Just then, a short figure walked over.
Jack and Vereesa looked at each other and smiled.
Creel was in a good mood because he had just obtained the most important part of the plan. As long as the plan was completed, they would be able to control all the dragons, and then the entire Eastern Kingdom would become their territory.
The well-informed Krill felt that the goblins were too short-sighted, and their eyes only stayed on the identity of the trade king. He was different. He wanted to be a king, not only to make money, but also to have power.
Just as he was dreaming, an "iron rod" was pressed against the back of his head, "Don't move, or I'll shoot you."
