The number of Lu Xun's novels is small, but they are of great significance and famous one after another.His early novels often do not have bizarre and tortuous plots, but focus on the life of the low-level people in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, pay attention to details, and can clearly describe the characters with line drawing in every detail, and dig out subtle psychological changes.

It mainly shows the numbness and ignorance of the people at the bottom and the hardships of life.

My materials are mostly collected from the unfortunate people in a sick society, which means to expose the suffering and draw attention to treatment.The later works use historical allusions to reflect real life, with a calm and abundant style, humorous and free and easy, which is quite different from the previous period.

Representative works include "The True Story of Ah Q", "Blessing", "Kong Yiji", "Hometown" and so on.The protagonists Ah Q, Mrs. Xianglin, Kong Yiji, Runtu and other Chinese women and children are well known.

Lu Xun pioneered a new style of writing based on theory and flexible forms—zawen, and carried it forward.His essays are numerous in number, wide in subject matter, vivid in image, sharp in argumentation, and changeable in writing style. It addressed all aspects of Chinese society at that time.Representative works include "Two Hearts Collection", "Hua Gai Collection" and so on.

Lu Xun's prose also plays an important role, and his main works are collected in "Crossing Blossoms in the Morning" and "Wild Grass".The former focuses on reminiscing about the past in childhood, which is easy to understand, humorous and vivid.Representative works include "Cong" and so on.

"Wild Grass" expresses critical reflections on society and life in the form of Nietzsche-style prose poems, reflecting the author's pessimistic mood of nihilism at that time.

The language is colorful and steep, the imagery is unique and suggestive, and the artistic conception is dark and deep.It has a certain influence on the development of Chinese vernacular prose poetry in the future.
