Coquettish Rebirth

It's a pity that Bill Gates doesn't know this old man Chuck very well, but he has only heard some stories about him. This made Jia Hongjian a little disappointed. It is said that in 97, the old man had already sold all his shares in the fs group, so theoretically the old man had already started to retire. not easy.Even if Jia Hongjian wanted to visit the old man, it could only be a coincidence.

Things here in the United States are almost over for the time being. Jia Hongjian is going to go back to China. Soon, the submarine cable business invested by his family will be opened, and they will have their own cable in Shanghai. The company's direct connection to the direct submarine optical cable of Sherlock Holmes in Los Angeles, USA, is very good.

After buying a new Lincoln SUV in North America, Jia Hongjian found a manufacturer to help modify it.After refitting and driving his own private plane, he flew all the way back to China.I bought a car and transported it back to China by myself. It is impossible to say that I just drove away after getting off the plane. Then you must fill out the entry documents and declare your stuff.Jia Hongjian directly declared the customs duty on the car, paid the money, and drove home directly here.

The driving position of this car bought in the United States is similar to that of a Chinese car, which is very good. It’s better than driving a Japanese-made or British-made car on Chinese roads—you must know that the cars in these two island countries drive on the left, so the driver’s seat is on the right!

Driving home by himself, Jia Hongjian had to be careful, because it was raining heavily along the way. After arriving home.He took a shower, and then chatted with his parents while eating here. "Mom and Dad, what's the matter? Has the Yenching Times published an article? Does the whole country know about it? How's the reaction?" Jia Hongjian, who had just returned to China, naturally had to be concerned about this matter first.

After he finished asking, he had already imagined two possible situations in his mind, but who knew that in the end, his mother answered something that he never thought about: "No, there is a bit of flooding in the country these days. Yes, it's quite big, and the media have started to pay attention to the flood, so they haven't posted it yet." Su Ping said cheerfully.

"Flood?" Jia Hongjian was taken aback when he heard it.Of course he knew about the great flood in 98!Could it be this time? That's right. In my memory, it seems that in history it started at the end of July and early August of 98!Shit, why didn't I think of that before!Of course, Jia Hongjian’s memory of the great flood in 7 is deep—it can be said to be the biggest flood in China after 8 years!Although the flood peak of this flood is not high, that is, the level that occurs once in 98 or 54 years, the flood volume is too large! As a result, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and even the Yellow River and Mudanjiang Songhua River and other reservoirs across the country were all washed away by a large number of floods! Then the result is that 7 provinces and cities across the country have been directly or indirectly affected.Hundreds of millions of people were affected nationwide! And this disaster relief process. Those soldiers who were criticized for their incompetence before. Those are all kinds of disaster relief that risk their lives. When the sandbags can't stop the leaks, it's just people flooding under the flood to form a human dam to hold back the water!

Just at this time.Originally, Yuan Ming’s voice appeared on the TV that was playing as the background sound next to him—“Yesterday and the day before yesterday, Wuhan City had a torrential rain. The maximum point rainfall was 532mm in Hanyang, 434mm in Hankou, and 375mm in Wuchang. The highest rainfall ever recorded in the city..." When Jia Hongjian's attention was attracted, Yuan Ming's voice then broadcast his shocking news—it is said that Boss Jiang pointed out to Zhu Vice President Wen, the boss's deputy and the commander-in-chief of the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, asked all provinces and cities along the Yangtze River, especially Wuhan City, to prepare for the flood peak, step up efforts to strengthen embankments, eliminate internal waterlogging, and strictly guard against death. The safety of the Yangtze River embankment ensures the safety of important cities such as Wuhan and the safety of people's lives and property.

Then today, on July 7, the National Defense Command and the Ministry of Water Resources sent three expert groups to Hubei, Fulan, Ganxi and other provinces to assist local flood control work. Later, the largest flood in history occurred in the Lishui River of Dongting Lake. The flood peak water level of Shimen hydrological station is 23 meters, and the corresponding flow rate is 3 cubic meters per second. It is expected that the third flood peak will appear in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River tomorrow! [

As soon as he heard this, Jia Hongjian knew that the real flood of 98 was coming!According to his memory, since May and June in the past 98 years, it has been raining non-stop, and then it has caused several consecutive flood peaks in the country! The previous two flood peaks were basically resisted, but this third flood peak will kill him!The amount of flood is large, but many flood control dams have been washed away!It can be said that the major losses caused by the flood in 98 were basically caused by the third flood peak!

When he was in China, Jia Hongjian didn't think of anything when he saw the rain, mainly because he didn't think that this year is 98!Now that he thought of it, he felt that all this was imminent! Is he, the reborn, going to do something? When he thought of this, he usually thinks twice, but this time he didn't think too much, and asked his parents directly, "Dad, Mom, this big flood is coming, should our family do something?"

"Do something? It's a good idea, but what can we do? We are not in flood control. Didn't the previous two floods come like that?" Su Ping replied subconsciously. "Mom, didn't you hear what I said just now? Wu Han's side has already reached the highest record in history. This is really much worse than the previous two times! Moreover, the entire country has been hit by disasters from south to north. After three floods, what a huge reduction in production, what will happen to the grain produced by the farmers? How much will the house be submerged?" Jia Hongjian is not convenient to directly say what will happen if the dam collapses, so he can only say that now foreseeable things.

As soon as Jia Gang heard what his son said, he slapped the table, "Son is right! If you are poor, you will be alone, and if you are rich, you will benefit the world! Our family is now rich, so we can use some money to help the common people! Those At this time, the farmer's fields are probably too waterlogged, and the houses may have collapsed. Although there are tents from the country to live in, it is not a long-term thing. And even if the flood passes, the harvest for this year is estimated to be over. Two-thirds, the summer corn and rice must all be gone, and the autumn ones may not be able to be planted. This year, the Shoucheng is gone, and the seeds are still put in. How does this farmer live? I agree with my son, Let’s donate some money! I think we can also mobilize the employees in the company to donate, no matter how much it is, it’s a heartfelt wish!”

This gentleman Jia Gang is really upright when he speaks, of course, he is also a bit of a cliché - who made him come from the old era, here does not mention the party and the country, does not mention the four modernizations, then It's already quite unconventional. When he said this, he thought about donating about [-] million yuan. Originally, the Baifangli Fund was donated by Huaxia Hi-Tech for [-] million yuan. Here, he donated [-] million yuan to the Red Cross or something for the country to distribute uniformly. Yes, that's enough.

But who knew that Jia Hongjian didn't see it that way!At this time, I only heard Jia Hongjian say: "Forget it, none of the employees in the company are rich, and asking them to pay is just helping the poor. Let's do it. I think we should pay first." One billion... first buy seeds and grains in the international market, and order disaster relief shelter equipment from domestic and foreign companies, and then contact the contracting team and construction team to find a way for the common people to find a place to live after the disaster. Give them food and seeds, so that they can at least sow and farm as soon as possible. Then there is the matter of rebuilding houses, you can contact the contracting team, go directly to the disaster area after the disaster, and cooperate with the local government to rebuild the houses of the people..."

After Jia Hongjian said this, Jia Gang was stunned! He didn't expect his son to want to pay so much money! This is not one hundred and eighty thousand, this is one billion! And Su Ping even said at this time, "Son, you want to do good deeds, and mother supports you, but one billion...is this a bit too much? Looking back, other rich people saw that our family paid so much, and they still thought about us. Do you put them on the fire and feel that we are embarrassing them, making them look like they are rich and unkind..."

More than a billion? To be honest, the first thing Jia Hongjian thought of was tens of billions! Now, after the flood and the embankment were broken, people were almost killed to fill it up!How much is this one billion? At that time, hundreds of millions of people across the country will be affected, and how many people will lose their homes! The direct flood is about to flood the roof! Can people live in this house? What property is there in this home?Isn't it all soaked up?Doesn't all this require bailouts? At the same time, those soldiers were fighting the disaster on the front line, and their Jia family donated some money in the back to help the soldiers with some logistics. Can this one billion be enough? At that time, the country used military planes to drop supplies by air!The scope of this disaster is much larger than that of the Shuchuan earthquake in later generations!Although the direct instant disaster may not be that big, but how many people are affected by the disaster? Can there be a splash if this billion is thrown in?

Hearing what his mother said, Jia Hongjian was about to speak, but he heard his father make the decision: "Just follow what the son said! The son wants to do good things, and our parents must support him! What other rich people How do you think, what do they think? That's their business! If you have the ability, come to me, Jia Gang! Really, they are not prepared to pay for being rich and unkind, why don't they allow others to pay? I don't accept it! What kind of bullshit is this? Sophisticated people, get out! Son, do as you want, Dad supports you!"

At this moment, Su Ping saw that the two of them had said that, she sighed and didn't think much about it.Although she felt a little pimple in her heart, her husband was right, it was a good deed, so don't think too much about it!Besides, what is the status of Huaxia Hi-Tech?That is the third richest family in the world, and they are still afraid of what the so-called rich people in China will do to them?Just don't think too much, just follow what my son said! (to be continued...)
