Chapter 210 Zhuang Ming Asks for Help
Among the seven magic weapons Chu Tai often uses, the Golden Xuan Danxia Banner, the Seven Yin Huasha Banner, the Sun and Moon Eternal Lantern, the Su Chen Qing Mang, the Liuhe Circle, the Five Dragons Demon-killing Wheel and the Qian Yuan Ruyi Zhuan Xin Lock, the Danxia Banner, the Huasha Banner and the Zhuan Xin Lock have all been refined to the limit. Before suitable materials are found or Chu Tai's cultivation is further improved, there is no possibility of improvement. Therefore, Chu Tai simply cleansed them and purified his vital energy without further action.
There is a bit of demonic nature left by Taoist Zi Guang in the eternal lamp, which requires Chu Tai to refine it with the true fire of the yin and sun at a fixed time every day. After about a hundred days, the demonic nature can be refined and condensed into a wisp of true fire for refining demons. Apart from being a bit tedious, it does not require too much effort.
Su Chen Qing Mang, the magic weapon originally refined by Chu Tai, is now absorbing the inspiration and legal principles of the newly acquired semi-finished spiritual root white bamboo. Its quality is steadily improving. After a period of time, when the white bamboo withers, Chu Tai can refine Su Chen Qing Mang again, so that its essence can surpass Danxia Banner and Huasha Banner, and approach the level of Zhuanxin Lock.
Finally, the Liuhe Circle and the Five Dragons Demon-Slaying Wheel received the biggest improvements this time. Chu Tai found several pieces of first-class Kanshui Chenyin and a large number of five-colored spiritual jade from the treasures left by the Zhushan Sect.
He spent three days integrating these materials into the Liuhe Circle and the Demon-Slaying Wheel respectively, which greatly enhanced the essence of the two treasures. As long as they were polished for a while and the inner inspiration stabilized, they could be refined again in form and quality.
Finally, Chu Tai began to process the various types of spiritual bamboo, which were the largest number among the many cultivation resources left by the Bamboo Mountain Sect.
These spiritual bamboos were cultivated using the Bamboo Mountain Sect's secret technique of Qianli Minggan Huabixu, and they are all of high age. Among the ones that Chu Tai got, there are more than 300 plants of green bamboo, cold bamboo, jade bamboo, green bamboo and fragrant bamboo that are over a thousand years old.
It's a pity that apart from retaining their own characteristics, the spiritual charm and legal principles contained in these spiritual bamboos are mostly incomplete, and it takes more than a dozen or even dozens of them to gather together the complete power.
In response to this, Chu Tai chose to refine its form and quality, and merge the spiritual bamboos of the same essence together, trying to transform it into a complete thousand-year-old spiritual bamboo. Then, with the purple bamboo branch as the core, and in combination with the thousand-year-old green bamboo, cold bamboo, jade bamboo, green bamboo and fragrant bamboo, he reconstructed a new legal system.
This is also a test by Chu Tai of the Dharma meaning of the Purple Bamboo Tide Sound by Taoist Zi Guang, or an exploration of the Dharma meaning of the Tide Sound recorded in the Purple Bamboo of the South China Sea.
'Although the essence of the meaning of [Tide Sound] should be derived from the Tide Sound of the South China Sea Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, which emphasizes that sentient beings are like the sea, prayers are like the tide, the tide sound is continuous, prayers are continuous, and responses are endless. However, Zi Guang's own understanding of the meaning of [Tide Sound] is not complete, and she took the South China Sea purple bamboo as the main factor, which increased the proportion of the concept of [bamboo] in the meaning of the law, causing the meaning of [Tide Sound] to be downgraded by one level.'
'Plus, this treasure is in harmony with the thoughts of Taoist Zi Guang, and the Dharma within it can be regarded as an outward derivative of his Dharma principles. Rather than spending time repairing and further perfecting it, I might as well start from scratch, using this as the foundation, and transforming the bamboo forest into the sea, the bamboo leaves into waves, the sound of the tide, and the echo of the vital energy...'
Chu Tai simply organized his thoughts. He was very clear that his action would further reduce the [Purple Bamboo Tide Sound] magic power, which had already fallen from the first-class [Tide Sound] magic power.
But this action itself was an attempt on his part to condense the Dharma. After retaining some of the characteristics of the Dharma of [Purple Bamboo Tide Sound], condensing the Dharma of [Bamboo Sea Tide Sound] on the purple bamboo branches might give him the possibility to go further in the future.
The most important thing is that after further breaking away from the original meaning of "Chao Yin" passed down by Guanyin Bodhisattva, it also laid the foundation for the Lotus Mother Dharma to take charge of this treasure.
Otherwise, there would be a conflict between the Lotus Mother Dharma Image and the Buddha Dharma of Guanyin Bodhisattva. Chu Tai wondered if the repaired purple bamboo branch he handed over to the Lotus Mother Dharma Image would be destroyed by it immediately and the Buddha nature and Dharma meaning within it would be taken away.
Seven days later, Chu Tai extracted the spiritual charm of green bamboo, cold bamboo, jade bamboo, green bamboo and fragrant bamboo. It then took Chu Tai another twenty days to refine it into invisible and then merged it into the purple bamboo branches one by one.
Circles of spiritual light rose from the branches and leaves, and the faint sound of waves rang out. Chu Tai clasped his hands together, and the image of the Lotus Mother appeared behind him, shattering the Dharma meaning of [Purple Bamboo Wave Sound] in the purple bamboo branches, and at the same time dispelling the evil thoughts of the devil's blood that were like a thorn in the flesh in the purple bamboo branches, freeing up space to construct the Dharma meaning of [Bamboo Sea Wave Sound].
During this process, Chu Tai gradually mastered some of the [Bamboo Sea Tide Sound] Dharma meaning, and gained a better understanding of the subsequent condensation of the Dharma meaning. Most importantly, this [Bamboo Sea Tide Sound] Dharma meaning is more in line with the way of nature, and at the moment of formation, it resonates with the surrounding bamboo forest.
Thousands of bamboo branches swayed, one layer stacked on top of another, one cluster of branches and leaves connected to another, swaying heavily, like green waves, one layer after another, causing subtle changes in the surrounding vitality, while also quickly adding into the [Mountain and River] Dharma, slightly advancing the perfection of the [Mountain and River] Dharma.
On the other side, the Goddess of Pure Light was also setting up a temple to worship the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and gradually cleansing the purple bamboo in her hands that was full of demonic nature but had hidden Buddha nature.
When the bamboo forest around her was shaking, the purple bamboo in her hand also responded, emitting waves of sound while suppressing a little of the evil nature on her body.
But the Goddess of Pure Light is more concerned about the Buddhist atmosphere hidden behind the meaning of "The Sound of the Bamboo Sea".
In a trance, the Goddess of Pure Light saw the thousand-armed and thousand-eyed image of the Lotus Mother again. She couldn't help but sigh in her heart, and her compassion grew even stronger. The Buddha's light of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, who was led down by her, also became clearer under this thought.
As for the many other monks who still remained here, they all reacted.
Taoist Mu Jing, who was in the bamboo forest, was using a similar method to Chu Tai to extract essence from various spiritual bamboos and purify the fifty-four purple bamboo swords in his hands. Looking at the strange scene in the bamboo forest around him, he immediately felt that it was the condensation of Dharma. He looked towards the source of Dharma with his eyes slightly opened.
"You have condensed the Dharma Intent so quickly? No, it should be that you have refined the Dharma Intent again and combined it with the Dharma Intent of [Mountain and River] to transform the Dharma Intent originally in the purple bamboo branch into one that is more suitable for you. Fellow Daoist Taining's ability is really getting stronger. Moreover, the problem with the earth veins has also been mostly solved..."
As he spoke, Taoist Mu Jing silently sensed the changes in the ground veins beneath him. One of the purposes of him and the other four wanderers staying here was to prevent a drastic change in the ground energy here due to their previous action of returning vital energy. Now this part of the problem has been greatly alleviated with the sound of the bamboo sea tide.
At the same time, Taoist Mu Jing also felt that Chu Tai was using the power of [Sound of the Bamboo Sea] to continuously shatter the remaining traces of the Bamboo Mountain Sect's secret techniques in the bamboo forest in the mountains, allowing the bamboo forest here to grow normally and further reduce the problems that might arise in the future due to the rapid growth of spiritual bamboo.
If all this were handed over to Taoist Mu Jing and the other five scattered people, it would take at least half a year to move the five elements from here, and only then could the problem be solved bit by bit.
On the other side, Taoist Cang Xuan, who was sitting in the pool and suppressing the surrounding water veins, was silently withdrawing his magic power. When he stood up and was about to go back to discuss leaving with the other four wanderers, a stream of light fell from the sky and hit the bamboo forest beside him heavily.
Taoist Cang Xuan took a few steps forward, and the mist surged, bringing him to the place where the light fell, and saw Zhuang Ming falling to the ground covered in blood.
When he saw Taoist Cang Xuan, he reached out to grab his arm. When he saw that he avoided it, he hurriedly said, "Quick... Go and save Zhuang Kong."
