Chapter 951 Unexpected Changes in Demon Suppression

Chapter 951 Unexpected Changes in Demon Suppression

"how you said that?"

Chu Tai was somewhat surprised by the words of the three bodhisattvas.

The three simply smiled, dispersed their bodhisattva forms, revealed their true forms, and broke free from the seal.

The old monk standing in the center was emaciated, wearing a faded old hemp robe. He held a brown wooden bowl in one palm, placing it on his chest, where a nine-petaled white lotus could be seen floating. He held his other palm in front of his chest and bowed to Chu Tai, saying, "This humble monk, Wuzhuxiang, greets Senior Brother."

On the left is a nun, dressed in equally simple clothes, with a shiny bald head and a solemn expression. She holds a whisk in her hand, and a circle of milky white Buddha light flows behind her head, in which the eight classes of beings, including gods, dragons, yakshas, gandharvas, garudas, kinnaras, and asuras, are vaguely hidden and protecting her.

She waved her five-colored whisk, resting it on her elbow, and placed her other hand in front of her chest, bowing to Chu Tai and saying, "This humble monk is Wugouguang, greetings to my senior brother."

The monk on the right is tall and stout, with large ears and a red birthmark between his eyebrows. His skin has a crystalline glow, and his robe is even more magnificent. On the bright red background, countless scriptures and images are sewn with gold thread. The characters are as small as mosquito legs, and the images are not even enough to cover a fingernail. The robe is like a miniature masterpiece, gathering all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions on it, supporting the monk's solemn and dignified appearance.

He also had a halo of Buddha's light behind his head, but unlike the pure white halo of the nun in front of him, it was a pure golden halo, as bright as the sun at its zenith, radiating brilliance and revealing its sharp edge, lacking some of the compassion of Buddhism.

But he treated Chu Tai with the same respect, putting his hands together and bowing, saying, "This humble monk is Benjueming, greetings to my senior brother."

Chu Tai frowned and asked, "The three Bodhisattvas have not yet answered my question."

The Bodhisattva Wuzhuxiang stepped forward and said, “In the past, when this child received the Buddha’s prediction, we three brothers also received the Buddha’s revelation, knowing that although this child would definitely become a Buddha in the future, the process would be quite tortuous. There must be another person holding the Buddha’s seal to guide him back to the right path.”

Benjue Ming stepped forward and added, "Therefore, the three of us used the Three Dharma Seals as our foundation to suppress it here. We hope that someone with the right affinity will come."

Upon hearing this, Chu Tai shook his head: "As the saying goes, it's better to guide than to block. The three of you forcibly sealing it with the Three Law Seals is no different from trying to bind the wind and lock away the dust. Now you are using heavy pressure to restrain it, but you will inevitably let its resentment deepen. When it becomes too heavy to reverse, it will surely be a great calamity. At that time, how can the three of you control it?"

"As for the person you mentioned who holds the Buddha's seal..."

Chu Tai paused for a moment, and the Buddha seal bestowed by the Buddha appeared in his palm, containing all of the other party's insights, equivalent to a phantom first-grade Dao fruit.

Upon seeing this seal, the three bodhisattvas clasped their hands together and exclaimed, "Namo Pure and Natural Awakened King Tathagata!"

Then the three bodhisattvas bowed to Chu Tai and said, "Please use your magic to guide him back to the right path, senior brother."

Chu Tai looked at the Buddha and Demon who were still asleep and felt a sense of absurdity. The three of them had all attained the Bodhisattva status, their golden bodies were majestic and covered with incense, but they were attached to the emptiness of water, forgot where the boat was going, and did not know how they had cultivated to their current level.

He truly possessed countless spiritual attainments, yet he could not overcome the blindness in his own heart.

The three Bodhisattvas were aware of their own absurdity and chanted Buddhist mantras. Wuzhuxiang spoke first: "I also know how ridiculous this is, but the three of us are all bound by the karma of ignorance and cannot understand the essence of the non-self of all phenomena. Even if we know that we cannot do this, we can only sink into the sea of suffering and seek that ray of light in the future."

Upon hearing this, Benjueming blushed with shame, while Wugouguang smiled bitterly and sighed, "Knowing that we are like a fool drinking poison, we are still ignorant of the Dharma and are merely seeking morning dew. If our senior brother had not come, we would have had no choice but to resort to such a desperate measure."

Hearing this, Chu Tai's expression softened. Since they had a last resort, it meant that these three bodhisattvas had some other preparations. So he asked, "What is this last resort?"

Upon hearing this, Benjueming stepped forward and explained: "He has become obsessed and demonic, but the foundation of his Dao fruit still originates from Buddhism and Taoism. In fact, he has become even more detached from Buddhism and Taoism. The concept of 'transformation into earth' cannot be separated from it. It is only because of its state of neither birth nor death, neither birth nor annihilation, that the originally illusory 'transformation into earth' has the ability to create countless forms. However, formation, existence, decay, and emptiness are all established by this, and one must also be confined within it."

"Its ability to manifest countless forms is truly the result of the prayers and wishes of all sentient beings. We three have considered that if the situation becomes too dire to reverse, we will merge our three attainments into its path, using the power of great compassion and vows to bind our hearts, so that Bodhi may be deeply planted, and that its future conduct may gradually follow a path of purity and happiness."

Upon hearing this, Chu Tai felt somewhat uneasy. The three Bodhisattvas' idea was not bad; they wanted to use compassion and vows to bind the mad mind and plant the seeds of Bodhi to guide the path to purity. However, based on future developments, it was clear that their approach was useless. The Buddha and the demon still became a great calamity between heaven and earth.

"You three have good ideas, but the sea of desires of sentient beings is filled with impurities and turbulent waves. His original mind is in a state of neither birth nor death, neither arising nor ceasing, so his outward appearance will inevitably rise and fall with the waves of sentient beings' minds. If one thought is skewed, Bodhi becomes Rakshasa, and the sound of Brahma will bring karmic winds. Furthermore, looking at his power, there are already signs of him replacing God with Buddha. In the future, he will inevitably use the vow of universal salvation to seize the power of the Holy King, and use the lotus throne and Dharma form to invade the divine artifacts of the state, causing the eight wastelands to fall and the three realms to suffer. At that time, even if the compassionate grace of ten thousand Buddhas descends, it will be difficult to cleanse the karmic fire of the human world."

Chu Tai's words were not unfounded. Judging from what the Buddha and the Demon did in the Western Regions, and how the Demon King took the opportunity to beat him up when he attained enlightenment, it was clear that the Buddha and the Demon had already begun to infiltrate the human monarchy or the human order.

However, Chu Tai also understood why the three Bodhisattvas rarely took action in the future. If what the three said was true, they would have merged with the Buddha and the Demon in the future and would be suppressing this guy most of the time. With the four of them entangled, it was naturally difficult for them to help others.

Therefore, Chu Tai's tone became somewhat stern: "The three of you relinquished your Bodhi light and suppressed his mind to prevent him from falling into evil realms, which is not wrong. However, when you protected him, his attainment was so high that ordinary people could not resist it. Who will suppress the karmic fire of the Three Realms that arose because of him? Who will carry the compassionate vessel and protect all beings? It cannot be that you use all people as fuel to illuminate your own lotus throne. In that case, is your so-called suppression truly the compassion of a Bodhisattva, or is it merely to gild your own image?"

"Or perhaps you're hiding something."

Chu Tai's words angered Benjueming, who took a step forward to argue, but Wuzhuxiang Bodhisattva raised his hand to stop him and bowed again to apologize.

"My senior brother has keen insight, and he saw through our hidden words at a glance. He was originally a fellow practitioner with us. The four of us had discussed the Dao several times and shared our inner light. He knew most of our foundational knowledge of the Dharma. Now, his cultivation has advanced further, and he has comprehended the secret methods of the Six Brahma Lords (Mara). It is like a black lotus planted in our sea of wisdom. Even though the golden body of the Bodhisattva remains, it is like a crack in the golden lock that cannot subdue the dragon. In desperation, we can only drink poison to temporarily calm the thousand waves of the sea of suffering."

Having said that, Chu Tai finally understood all the questions posed by the three Bodhisattvas. He raised his hand and handed the Buddha Seal to the Bodhisattva Wuzhuxiang, saying, "Since you say that the other person holding the Buddha Seal can guide the Buddha and demons back to the right path, then I will give you the Buddha Seal. Can you do that?"

After a moment of silence, the two Bodhisattvas, Wuzhuxiang and Benjueming, showed a hint of joy and looked at Wuzhuxiang. They saw that he had a bitter expression on his face and sighed, "If I had accepted it directly before, it would have been fine, but now, it is not possible."

After speaking, he bowed for the third time: "Thank you for your guidance, senior brother. I was too attached to appearances. I was full of thoughts of protecting the Dharma and binding demons with the golden rope, but I forgot that the moment I held the rope, my Bodhi nature was stained with dust. I should have realized long ago that if I wanted to use pure thoughts to suppress Mara's Dharma, I would fall into the mind of fighting and conflict. If I continue to be obsessed with using Buddha to overcome Buddha, let alone suppressing him, I'm afraid the three of us will become his demons instead."

The Bodhisattva Wuzhu raised the alms bowl in his hand, and a peaceful light emanated from it. Countless monks, nuns, Vajras, Sangharama, and Bodhisattvas, formed from Buddha's light, sat on lotus flowers, chanting sutras in a low voice. Countless swastika mudras flew out and surrounded Chu Tai.

The Bodhisattva Wuzhuxiang bowed in reverence to the Buddha-mudra in his palm, and strands of pure light fell upon it. However, the Bodhisattva Wuzhuxiang paid no heed, returned to the side of the Buddha and the demon, manifested the Bodhisattva form again, and merged into the Buddha and the demon's body.

After a moment's contemplation, the Immaculate Light Bodhisattva flicked her whisk, softly chanted the Buddha's name, and bowed to Chu Tai: "With a single thought of purity, all worldly ties naturally fall away. The wind rises from the sea of nature, the clouds pass over the spiritual platform. The so-called karmic demons and their fiery winds are nothing but illusions; the present and the past are all matters within the Tathagatagarbha. I have already guessed your origins, senior brother. Here, I wish you, senior brother, that you may protect the lamp of the hearts of all beings in the Eastern Celestial Heaven, ensuring it never goes out, illuminating the past. I will take my leave now." After expressing her gratitude to Chu Tai, she also manifested the Bodhisattva form and merged into the Buddha and Demon's bodies.

The last one, Benjueming, was clearly the least accomplished. After reflecting on the matter for a long time, he finally understood his two fellow practitioners' thoughts and laughed heartily, "So that's how it is! So that's how it is! It's not about thinking, it's about doing what needs to be done. Although he has mastered the Six Brahma Secrets and seen through the shortcomings of our Dharma treasury, we have already clearly understood his foundation since we first shone our Dharma natures together. With the three of us of one mind, like lamps reflecting each other, illuminating all darkness, why should we worry about not being able to subdue our deluded minds and ascend the lotus platform again?"

"Fellow practitioners, please wait for me!"

Having said that, he also transformed into the form of a Bodhisattva, closely following in the footsteps of the Bodhisattva of No Abiding and the Bodhisattva of Immaculate Light.

Beneath the triple Buddha light, three Dharma seals intertwined, and three bright lamps faintly stood around the Buddha and the demon, reflecting each other and dispelling all darkness, showing signs of completely suppressing the Buddha and the demon.

Seeing this, Chu Tai sighed and released his grip, intending to press the Buddha seal given to him by the Buddha into the heart of the demon, to see if he could change the past.

But just as the Buddha seal fell, a faint aura suddenly appeared inside the Eastern Emperor Bell and spread outwards.

"sky?"

Chu Tai was startled. After pressing the Buddhist seal into the heart of the Buddha and Demon, he immediately summoned the Eastern Emperor Bell to search for some of the power of the heavens.

But the surroundings were empty, with no trace of the sky, only the sky above seemed to have some strange features.

The next moment, the Holy King's Great Dao manifested, shaking the heavens, followed by the power of all the True Monarchs.

At this point in time, the Buddha and the Demon have not yet awakened, and the Monarch Demon and the Taiyi True Monarch have not yet attained enlightenment. Therefore, the ones who are taking action are the two Dao Lords, the Heavenly Demon and the Blood Demon, and the three True Monarchs, Qing Shi, Hun Yuan, and Yu Li.

Among them, the Dao Fruit of the Heavenly Demon Lord, "One Qi Transforms into Myriad Things," collided fiercely with the Dao Fruit of the Azure Beginning True Lord, "Innate One Qi," in the void.

Countless Dao Qi were generated from the collision between the two, and various strange phenomena were constantly manifested.

Hunyuan Zhenjun stood beside Qingshi Zhenjun, cooperating with him, while Yuli Zhenjun looked around, seemingly searching for something.

Chu Tai carefully concealed himself, but then sensed a faint aura of blood energy probing his location.

Looking down, they discovered that the boundless blood had spread to the surrounding mountains and rivers without them even realizing it.

'Was the Blood Demon Lord of the past this proactive?'

Feel the power of the [Taiyin Complete Form] Dao Fruit churning within the blood, that powerful force that is close to the perfection of the Dao of Life and the sublimation of the Dao of Creation, is constantly adapting to the many changes brought about by the surrounding primordial energy turbulence.

As a result, many new life forms that did not exist before appeared on the earth, and in the process, the power of the Blood Demon was slowly increasing.

Just as Chu Tai was about to do something, he suddenly sensed a terrifying aura.

He looked at the Heavenly Demon Lord, and within his Dao Fruit of [One Qi, Myriad Transformations], a trace of the Heavenly Demon's Dao Fruit of [Transformation] actually emerged.

'No, not now!'

Chu Tai looked down and saw some Heavenly Demon [Transformation] power emerging in the River of Time.

Just as he had previously eroded many realms under the Three Pure Ones, the Heavenly Demon is now laying some traps in the Eastern Extreme Chenguang Great Heaven with the cooperation of the Heavenly Demon Dao Lord.

Chu Tai didn't care about hiding too much. He placed the Eastern Emperor Bell above his head and gently shook it, letting down thousands of colorful lights to conceal his aura and form. Then, he attacked the sky from a distance, forcing out its aura.

The Primordial True Lord immediately sensed something was wrong. He raised his hand and waved it, and black and white mysterious light intertwined to form a Tai Chi arc. It glided through the air in a perfect arc, forming a golden bridge of existence and non-existence, intending to suppress the origin of heaven.

However, the Blood Demon seemed to be stimulated, and a lot of blood churned up. The Heavenly Demon's [Transformation] [Chaos] Dao Fruit manifested, causing it to generate a strange blood moon with a surface covered with writhing flesh veins that hung in the sky.

This blood moon showed no trace of righteousness, but rather some traces of the distorted Dao fruits of later generations.

The blood moon, which appeared to be still, gradually began to undulate and pulsate like a living organ after it rose into the sky.

On the uneven surface of the blood moon, countless viscous blood plasmas continuously gushed out, filled with karmic embryos, broken shells, remains, and alien species, dripping down from the blood moon drop by drop.

In the instant they scattered, these things continued to improve, absorbing the surrounding energy and giving rise to all sorts of strange and wonderful creatures.

Each of these beings contains a false connection and a combination of causes and conditions, and has the ability to take on different appearances depending on the circumstances. They can manifest all kinds of deluded beings, and perfectly conform to the laws and principles of the current Eastern Celestial Radiance, fully revealing the twisted and terrifying nature of the Heavenly Demon.

Some of them are moving closer to Buddha and demon, while others are rapidly evolving into clusters of intelligent life.

The Holy King's Great Dao was the first to react, manifesting four first-grade treasures. However, Chu Tai had no time to pay attention to them at the moment. Even the Celestial Cauldron among them could not distract him, because those beings that approached the Buddha and the Demon transformed into karmic poison fire the moment they came into contact with the Buddha's light. The fire burned and surged, threatening to burn the crystal and pollute the Pure Land.
