As we all know, after entering the 1990s, the world ushered in another technological explosion. Not only did countries implement the strategy of building a country through science and education, but many industrial industries also ushered in a wave of global leaps.

Faced with such a clear trend, it would be a disaster if we continue to stand still!
So the question is, since a large number of companies do not have the willingness and conditions to conduct research and development, but must strive to keep up with the pace of global technological development, what should they do?
After the 1980s, when the country was struggling with technology, industry and trade, it realized that this was not going to work and thought of many solutions based on the current situation. Among them, there are two well-known ones:

1. Work hard to earn foreign exchange, and use this currently extremely valuable foreign exchange to introduce advanced equipment and technology from abroad, especially more cost-effective second-hand equipment and relatively outdated technology abroad, so that companies can drive product upgrades through equipment upgrades, and let these companies survive first.

2. Since a large number of companies do not have the internal driving force to engage in research and development, the state can directly take over this work, establish some technology companies, and do this work first by allocating special funds.

Anyone with a discerning eye can see that these two methods have too many loopholes, but there was no other way. China was facing too many problems at the time and was restricted by some practical circumstances, so it could only make do with this for the time being.

Of course, it's just makeshift. Under normal circumstances, as long as the lice in the clothes don't jump out, no one will deliberately pinch them for the sake of image.
