The Queen of Scrolls never admits defeat
Chapter 970 Course Topic Selection
Celestian bowed deeply to Moran.
"On behalf of the entire association, I express my deepest gratitude to you! I will arrange the best lounge for you immediately, and you can decorate it however you like!"
Moran nodded and walked to the other side of the resonance device, to the position reserved for the sharer: "Without further ado, let's begin!"
The elves stepped forward one by one, entering the beam of light from the receiver of the resonance device, and began to receive the natural spirit inheritance she shared.
As the sharer, the process was indeed very comfortable and required absolutely no effort.
As long as she releases her defenses against the memories passed down from the nature spirits, the resonance device will automatically channel the contents into the energy flow and send them to the recipient's mental sea on the other side.
Moran was even able to maintain the sharing state while studying the inherited memories he had just acquired.
However, it ended much faster than she had imagined.
Tobias, the first to step forward, was barely able to keep up with Moran's rhythm as he was sharing with others when he couldn't take it anymore.
The resonance device immediately disconnected, the whole process taking less than a minute, before even the historical part of the natural spirits' heritage was fully received.
The amount of inheritance received by other mid-level spirits was almost the same as that received by Tobias.
The three high elves persisted for a while and basically finished inheriting the historical part of the legacy. Celestian also inherited some of the cultural customs of the nature elves.
The ten spirits were defeated in less than ten minutes, and the energy stones that had just been placed were still full of energy.
The mid-level elves, including Tobias, were mostly pale-faced after coming off the resonance device. They gently covered their foreheads or temples and walked towards their rest rooms with dazed eyes.
After receiving the inheritance, Alfred and Viola looked somewhat tired and rested on the spot.
Celestian was feeling a little better. He rubbed his temples and, despite his headache, insisted on taking Moran to the lounge that had been arranged for her.
"This way, your room is on the top floor of the tower, with a good view and it's quiet."
Celestian explained as they walked, and when they reached the door of the lounge, he took out a crest and handed it to her: "This is your crest. I have recorded your identity information in it. You can use it to open the Fusion Center and your lounge."
Moran took the emblem, stuck it to the wooden door, and the door opened.
The room was more spacious and comfortable than she had expected.
The studio, reinforced with special magical materials, includes a separate reception room, bedroom, and bathroom, as well as a small balcony.
"I'm very satisfied, thank you!" Moran said sincerely.
“You deserve it.” Celestian waved his hand. “Then I won’t bother you any longer. You get some rest. If you need anything, you can contact me using the bracelet. Just make sure the course topic is finalized within this month.”
After seeing Celestian off, Moran materialized his {Space Tent Card} and placed it in the center of the room.
Then, without waiting, he went inside and, using the space tent as cover, entered his own {mirror space}.
He adjusted the flow of time within the mirror space to its fastest speed, quickly absorbing the inherited memories within his spiritual sea. Understanding and mastering the knowledge within these inherited memories is far more complicated than simply receiving the inheritance; even with the adjusted flow of time, it would be difficult to fully comprehend and master it all in a short period.
Moran kept her promise and would sit in the atrium on the first floor for a while at a fixed time every day.
Like the other branches of the spirits, she personally created a resting corner full of natural charm by the fountain in the courtyard, in the style of nature spirits, using supple vines, fresh moss, fragrant wood, and a few warm stream stones.
She also replanted magical plants that are both ornamental and practical in the flowerbeds next to the fountain.
After learning several meditative magic arrays from the Star Elf's legacy, Moran finally decided on the course topics.
Celestian was still bewildered when he received the course proposal from Moran.
He thought it would take Moran at least a few months to determine his course topics, but to his surprise, only two days had passed, and before he could even digest the inherited memories, Moran had already determined the course topics, and not just one.
He rubbed his temples as he finished reading Moran's course proposal.
The report clearly lists four proposed elective courses: "Druid Class Training and Magical Practice (Intermediate)," "Ranger Class Training and Magical Practice (Intermediate)," "Bard Class Training and Magical Practice (Intermediate)," and "Natural Perception and Resonance."
Celestian understood the first three courses at a glance.
It is closely related to Moran's own advanced career, with solid content and a clear direction, and it also fills the gap in the academy's guidance on intermediate-level natural careers.
He could even foresee the sensation these courses would cause among students aspiring to a natural path once they were launched.
But the fourth course... "Natural Perception and Resonance"?
Celestian frowned. In his understanding, "nature perception" was usually part of the introductory meditation course for nature-based extraordinary professions, designed to help beginners initially perceive natural energy and establish a subtle connection with nature.
This kind of basic content is a bit too simplistic for advanced students who are aiming for intermediate-level learning and higher-level breakthroughs.
As for "natural resonance," although he knew about it, it was usually considered a deep meditative state that was hard to come by, so how could it be taught as a course?
Celestian went to the place of fusion with questions in mind, where Moran was tending to the plants in the courtyard flowerbed.
"Moran, I have some questions for you regarding your course proposal!"
The two sat down.
“The first three courses are excellent, exactly what the academy needs, and also what you excel at,” Celestian said bluntly. “But the fourth course, ‘Natural Perception and Resonance’… Is ‘Natural Perception’ too basic for an intermediate course? Also, while ‘Natural Resonance’ is precious… if I may be frank, it’s usually an accidental product of deep meditation. How can it be taught systematically?”
Moran had anticipated this and explained, "The inspiration for this course comes from the exquisite auxiliary meditation magic arrays in the Star Elf heritage, especially the third compound auxiliary meditation magic array."
Celestian's eyes narrowed.
He certainly knew about the third composite auxiliary meditation magic circle. It was an advanced teaching tool developed by the Star Elf mages to help a large number of beginners or low-level mages enter a stable meditative state and improve the efficiency of initial meditation. It was usually placed in large public meditation rooms or introductory classes.
Moran continued, "My affinity with nature is extremely high, and natural resonance is a regular part of my daily meditation. Using the improved and enhanced third composite auxiliary meditation magic circle as the core teaching tool, with me as the leader, I can guide students into deep meditation, or even a state of natural resonance..."
