Chapter 657 Entangled by Tentacles!
The high priest looked at her flushed cheeks, his voice trembling, but his words were bolder than anyone else's.

"Interest?"

His tone remained unchanged: "You're demanding payment before you've even started doing anything?"

"Is it okay or not?" Yu Zhizhi simply resorted to pleading.

She cherished every moment she spent alone with the High Priest.

In Yu Zhizhi's view, as long as the high priest did not explicitly refuse, it meant there was still hope!

She stood on tiptoe, wanting to lean in and kiss him.

As the jade boat entered the trial grounds, at that very moment, Yu Zhizhi's body suddenly lost its weight, and she transformed into a little rabbit!
She fell downwards, but the high priest grabbed her by the back of the neck.

"Go."

The high priest threw her in.

Yu Zhizhi's rabbit eyes widened, its paws flailing wildly in the air as it turned to look at the snowy figure standing beside the jade boat.

The high priest and the jade boat both stopped in mid-air, no longer moving forward.

Only she was thrown into the trial grounds where heat and cold alternated!

Yu Zhizhi let out a "humph" from her nose. The baby rabbit's soft voice sounded a little fierce, as if it was dissatisfied with the high priest's actions. There was nothing she could do but kick her legs to adjust her body and land steadily on a rock.

pat~

The fluffy little rabbit landed safely.

The high priest glanced at the snow-white rabbit shadow, and the next second, the jade boat carried him away from this place.

The Trial Grounds of the Beast God's Homeland.

This is Yu Zhizhi's first time here.

She had never set foot in the trial grounds of other beast races.

All I know is that any place used for trials is extremely dangerous, no matter where it is!
Yu Zhizhi squatted on the big rock, looking around and sniffing the air, trying to find traces of the little octopus.

The high priest said it was injured...

is it serious?
Yu Zhizhi ran across the rocky, arid terrain. She was fast because the restraints had been lifted, and in her beast form, her mental power could be used even better.

Realizing that this might be a very time-consuming task, Yu Zhizhi slowed down.

The rocky area is very hot.

Yu Zhizhi felt a warm, burning sensation all over her body; her white fur made her feel like she was wrapped in a thick blanket. Upon seeing the snowfield not far ahead, she showed excitement and immediately darted towards it.

Under the cover of night, the snow seemed to glow.

Yu Zhizhi felt as if she were in a desolate wilderness. She looked up at the towering cliffs all around her, then turned back to look in the direction she had come from.

Jade Boat and the High Priest have both vanished without a trace.

Yu Zhizhi kept searching for the little octopus's scent.

The search has been unsuccessful for a long time.

She walked for a long time, gradually feeling cold, and then stopped. Her paws touched the snow, and she heard a faint sound; her rabbit ears twitched slightly.

An ominous premonition instantly welled up in my heart!
not good!

Yu Zhizhi wanted to run away!
But it was too late!
A cold, slippery sensation unexpectedly wrapped around my hind legs.

The little white rabbit suddenly struggled, its short, fluffy tail trembling in fear, its dark eyes wide open.

The binding tightened, and a second tentacle slid out from the shadows, slowly encircling its warm body, its tip brushing lightly against its sensitive long ears.

Yu Zhizhi's beastly body began to tremble uncontrollably!

The thing's movements carried a lazy, inquisitive air. When the cold suction cups pressed against her warm, soft belly, she trembled violently, and a faint whimper escaped from her three-lobed mouth.

More shadows rose from among the decaying leaves, weaving a supple, silvery-white cage. It was gently lifted off the ground, its downy hairs glowing like dandelion seeds in the moonlight. The tentacles slowly tightened, mimicking an embrace, their tips probing into the thick neck hairs, caressing the violently throbbing pulse.

Night dew condensed on its trembling nose.

Like a belated tear.

Yu Zhizhi's body sounded an alarm; she felt like she was being hunted!

She struggled frantically, but was held tightly by the other party!
The tip of the tentacle gently lifted the little white rabbit's chin, forcing its moist eyes to gaze into the depths of the shadows. A voice, like honey-scented silk, coiled directly into Yu Zhizhi's consciousness:
"……Afraid?"

The little rabbit trembled even more violently, her three lips moving but only emitting a faint "chirp" sound. She tried to shrink back, but every inch of her softness was bound by the cold, silvery white.

"It's warm." The voice commented softly, and a tentacle slowly moved up the little rabbit's back, making the fur stand up wherever it went.

My heart is beating too fast.

Yu Zhizhi recognized it from the very first word the bound man uttered!

That voice was so familiar, yet it sounded so strange.

"Little octopus, let...let me go..."

A faint, murmuring sound, like that of a cub, escaped from her throat, accompanied by a tremor that surprised even herself.

Yu Zhizhi was startled by her own "voice," and her dark eyes widened even more.

The pressure of the entanglement loosened slightly, transforming into an almost intimate caress.

The tip of its tentacle curled up a tuft of the softest down on its chest and slowly played with it.

"It can talk." There was a clear hint of interest in the voice. The shadows writhed, and more tentacles with a pearly luster emerged, but they did not tighten their grip. Instead, they loosely formed a cage, trapping the little rabbit in the center. "Interesting. This snowfield... hasn't had a living thing that can 'speak' for a long time."

"You—" Yu Zhizhi was completely controlled by tentacles. She didn't know what was wrong with the little octopus, why it wouldn't listen to her voice at all.
Does it not recognize itself?

"You... have amnesia?" Yu Zhizhi shrank back, trying to understand everything that had happened to her.

The slippery touch wasn't painful; it even carried a strange, irresistible gentleness, but this gentleness terrified her more than direct violence.

"Hmm." The little octopus did not answer her question.

Following that was a rather slender tentacle, its tip like the softest brush, gently tracing the pink veins on the inside of the rabbit's ear.

Yu Zhizhi shuddered violently; that was one of its most sensitive spots!

The little octopus seemed to be laughing: "You've wandered into a place you shouldn't be. Perfect timing... I'm hungry."

Its tone carried a hint of innocence.

They didn't realize how bad their behavior was at all.

It's like the innocent cruelty of a young child dismembering a moth.

"Eating you wouldn't be a problem, would it?"

Yu Zhizhi didn't think the little octopus was joking!

The tentacles tightened their grip, and she was almost suffocating!
It really wanted to eat itself!!
I want to swallow it whole!

The little rabbit began to struggle desperately, and Yu Zhizhi shouted, "No!! Absolutely not!!"

The tentacles had already grabbed the little rabbit's ankles and hung it upside down.

It seemed to want to tilt its head back and swallow the live white rabbit whole.

Just then, Yu Zhizhi suddenly thought of the Heart Meridian Lock that the octopus was wearing!
That was something Don Locke specially gave to the octopus when he left!

Yu Zhizhi immediately said, "Stop!"

Don Locke said there were no specific instructions; it was up to her whim.

The octopus heard the fluffy little rabbit it had entangled cry out in a cute, adorable voice, "I command you, stop right now! Don't eat me!"

 See you tomorrow~
