This is because type-c is actually just a general specification that covers a large number of technical standards. A complete type-c actually has a lot of lines and the cost is relatively high.
But in fact, most devices only need a few of these 2 interfaces, so most type-c interfaces only have some of the contacts, and many of them have been modified.
In terms of actual usage, this thing is actually not as convenient as before. In the past, you could just look at the interface and know what can be used and what cannot be used...
But now, if you buy a type-c data cable, you may not even be able to use fast charging, or achieve high-speed data transmission, etc.
Type-c integrates a large number of various protocols, but manufacturers only provide you with a few, and even modify the interface to meet their own fast charging protocols. As a result, there are huge differences in the type-c data cables of various mobile phone manufacturers.
At the same time, the appearance of these type-c data cables is the same, and you can't tell the difference.
For ordinary consumers, if they don’t read the technical description carefully, there is a high probability that they will buy the wrong one... However, how many people understand the various complicated protocols and technical descriptions of type-c?
Therefore, for ordinary consumers, type-c is actually not a good thing. It greatly increases the cost and threshold for ordinary consumers to purchase data cables.
Type-c seems to have unified the interface, but in fact it has not. Instead, it has increased the confusion and made people even more confused!

Zhiyun and Weiku sell hundreds of millions of terminals equipped with these protocol interfaces every year, and the global stock is hundreds of millions. If you change the protocol and interface, what will happen to such a huge amount of old equipment?
This is also the case with the current Bluetooth headset project. We already have our own 4.5 protocol, but we also need to be compatible with the 4.0 protocol. Incompatibility is not acceptable!
Even if the sound quality is a little worse in compatible mode, it is better than not being able to use it.
Xu Shenxue picked up the headphones, matched them with a specially modified Zhiyun S4.5 mobile phone equipped with a new Bluetooth 12 protocol chip, and started listening to music.
