Relying on the huge success in the touch IC field, they also laid out the capacitive fingerprint field early on, successfully launched the world's third capacitive fingerprint in 14, and then quickly became the exclusive capacitive fingerprint supplier for Samsung, LG and a large number of other mobile phone manufacturers.

Because at present, there are only three capacitive fingerprint suppliers in the world, and Wanjin Technology ranks first. However, all of Wanjin Technology’s technical solutions are only supplied to Zhiyun and Weiku Electronics, and are not supplied to the outside world.

By the way, the capacitive fingerprint solution of Qianding Technology in the past two years had a shipping price of about 70 or 80 yuan at the earliest, so it was only used in flagship phones at that time. Now, the price has dropped to 50 or 60 yuan.

But this is already very expensive for a mobile phone component.

At the same time, Qianding Technology is also working on under-screen optical fingerprint. Although it has not been developed yet, it is reported that they estimate that they will be able to produce samples by the end of the year and mass-produce them next year.

At the same time, many domestic and foreign companies are also working on under-screen fingerprints, such as Synaptics in the United States.

In this case, Zhiyun Group, which was the first to develop under-screen optical fingerprint but suppressed its use and did not allow Weiku Electronics to use it, also chose to supply this technology to Weiku Electronics this year.

Of course, even if Weiku Electronics uses it, the current under-screen photoelectric fingerprint technology is still relatively expensive. Wanjin Technology's supply price to Weiku Electronics is about 150 yuan, which is about twice as expensive as capacitive fingerprint.

So don’t count on other mid- and low-end mobile phones. The only ones that cost more than 3,000 yuan are the Xiaolan MAX series.

As for Weiku Electronics, it chose the under-screen fingerprint solution... The full-screen strategy is a strategy that Zhiyun Group continues to promote, and 3D face recognition technology is gradually being adopted in high-end models, namely the S series and A series.

However, the hardware cost of 3D facial recognition technology is very high, and a mobile phone like the C series priced at yuan cannot afford the high cost.
