Chapter 32 Do you believe in parallel universes?

Uchiha Fugaku was concentrating on reading the book in his hand at this moment.

"There are no eternal friends, only eternal interests." Uchiha Fugaku read out and fell into deep thought.

The situation in the ninja world is just like this old saying: the alliances between the major villages are always temporary, and interests are the eternal pursuit. Whether it is the enemy of the past or the ally of today, they cannot be fully trusted.

At this moment, there was a "click" sound, and the heavy metal door slowly slid open.

Fugaku looked up when he heard the voice, and saw a tall, dark-skinned man appear at the door. He looked like a man from the Land of Thunder.

The man stood at the door with his hands behind his back. His eyes fell on Fugaku, and the corners of his mouth rose slightly with a friendly smile. "Aren't you going to invite me in?"

Uchiha Fugaku slowly stood up from his chair and nodded slightly to the man: "Come in."

The man strode into the room and stood in front of Fugaku. "Hello, I'm General Stark. I've heard a lot about you."

Fugaku looked down at Stark's outstretched right hand and was stunned for a moment, but he quickly reacted and stretched out his own right hand to shake Stark's. "Uchiha Fugaku."

The two sat down at the table facing each other. Stark's eyes swept over the untouched food on the table: "Why, it doesn't suit your taste?"

Fugaku followed Stark's gaze to the food on the table. Those carefully cooked and plated dishes were now cold, but still exuded an enticing aroma.

"No, that's not the case." Fugaku said directly, "It's just that in this environment, I think it's better to be cautious."

Stark was stunned for a moment. He didn't expect the other party to be so direct. He reached out and picked up a French fry on the table and put it in his mouth: "Understand."

After a moment, Stark swallowed the food in his mouth, and his eyes suddenly became serious. He looked directly into Fugaku's eyes, with a hint of inquiry in his tone: "So, Uchiha Fugaku, who are you?"

Facing Stark's question, Fugaku's expression remained unchanged, as if he had already anticipated this question.

"General, do you believe in the existence of a parallel world?" Fugaku suddenly asked, his tone calm but with a hint of mystery.

Stark was stunned, as if he had not expected Fugaku to ask such a question. "Parallel world?"

He repeated it subconsciously, his expression becoming a little confused.

"I've only heard of some theories and hypotheses. Could it be..." He suddenly paused, a flash of shock and disbelief in his eyes, "You mean..."

Fugaku nodded, seemingly satisfied with Stark's response.

"Yes," he confirmed, his voice calm. "I come from a completely different world from here."

"What?!" Stark widened his eyes, his face full of disbelief.

Uchiha Fugaku looked at Stark calmly, his tone revealing a hint of indifference. "In our universe, human technology has developed to a level that you can hardly imagine." He said slowly, his voice neither hurried nor slow.

“Not only will we be able to detect the existence of the multiverse, we will also be able to travel between and intervene in different universes.”

Fugaku paused, his eyes becoming deep. "When we discover that humans in a certain universe are facing a huge crisis, especially when they are invaded by unknown creatures like this time, we will send personnel to provide necessary help and support." Stark seemed to finally come to his senses. He took a deep breath and tried to calm down his inner shock: "So, how did you fight that monster that day?"

Hearing this question, Uchiha Fugaku's eyes narrowed slightly. The next moment, his eyes suddenly turned blood red, and three magatama-shaped patterns appeared in them, slowly rotating.

"These eyes are the crystallization of our world's technology." Fugaku said calmly, but his voice was filled with an indescribable power. "The giant you see is the energy released from these eyes incarnate."

General Stark's expression grew more shocked as he listened to Fugaku's explanation.

"This is a little too unbelievable." He spoke slowly, with a hint of hesitation in his tone. "What you said is beyond all our knowledge and imagination. I am not questioning your words, but do you have any evidence to prove that all this is true?"

"Of course I can prove it." He said calmly, but his voice was filled with unquestionable confidence.

"But instead of explaining it with words, I'd rather let you see it with your own eyes."

As he spoke, he suddenly opened his eyes wide, and the three magatama in his pupils spun wildly, forming a strange pattern. An invisible force instantly burst out from his eyes and shot towards Stark's eyes like a sharp arrow.

"What?" Stark only had time to let out a cry of surprise before he felt a huge suction force pulling his consciousness into a vortex-like channel.

His vision was instantly distorted, as if he had entered a time tunnel. Everything around him turned into colorful light and shadow, rapidly passing before his eyes.

boom!
With a loud bang, Stark felt his consciousness finally stop flying. He opened his eyes suddenly and found himself in space.

In front of him was an enormous planet. It occupied most of his field of vision, and its surface shone with a cold metallic luster. It was not a natural landform, but was constructed by countless huge machines.

Stark stared at the scene in front of him in amazement, his mind going blank.

"Where is this?" he muttered to himself, his voice full of disbelief.

A calm voice sounded in his ears. "This is our world.

Stark turned his head suddenly and found that Fugaku had appeared beside him. He still had that indifferent expression, as if everything in front of him was normal.

"This planet is the technological center of our world." Fugaku said slowly, his eyes sweeping over the huge buildings. "Here are gathered our top scientists and engineers, responsible for the development and maintenance of those devices that span the universe."

He pointed to a spot on the planet's surface, where a tower-like building towered into the clouds. The tower was made up of countless complex pipes and circuits, and it was flashing with a faint blue light.

"The tower you see is the core of the teleportation device," Fugaku said calmly. "It can open the door to other universes and allow our messengers to pass through wormholes and cross the boundaries of time and space."

Stark opened his mouth, but no sound came out. His eyes were fixed on the tower, and his expression became blank and dull.

At this moment, Stark's vision suddenly changed. With a flash of blinding white light, Stark suddenly came to his senses and found himself back in the small metal room.

He looked around in shock, still feeling frightened. He subconsciously grabbed the back of the chair, squeezing until his knuckles turned slightly white.

"Do you believe it now?" Fugaku asked calmly, breaking the stagnant air in the room.
