"If you encounter something, regardless of whether you express your resentment or actually take action, as long as you have such strong hatred that it hurts yourself, it is considered evil in Buddhism."
"On the other hand, a rational attitude, an open mind, something that is beneficial to oneself, and so on, are called good."
He glanced at the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Arhats in the hall and continued:
"Now the great monk wants to accept you with a rational attitude and an open mind. Isn't that good enough?"
