Chapter 58 Harry: I want you to go undercover in Hydra

My name is James Barnes, but I'm Bucky to everyone who knows me.

When I was sixteen, World War II entered its white-hot stage. Like all my peers, I joined the army with full of enthusiasm and without hesitation.

I was lucky enough to be selected for military training in the British Special Air Service, the world's first formal special forces, where I was promoted to the rank of sergeant.

Of course he knew that the real Hydra was not as weak as the Hydra in the movie universe. He also knew that there were many powerful old monsters and various artifacts hidden in Hydra, and it was even vaguely related to the multiverse-level evil god Set.

But that wasn't the reason why Harry tolerated the assassination attempt on him.

"Bucky, cooperate with me. I have a way to deal with Hydra."

Bucky was about to speak when Harry asked back bluntly.

"Bucky, you didn't think I rescued you from Hydra's control for free, did you?"

"You set me free, and I will repay the favor, but making an enemy of Hydra will likely get you killed in the end."

Bucky said seriously.

“Pfft,” Harry laughed amusedly. “Bucky, have you been brainwashed? Do you really think that if I don’t become an enemy of Hydra, they won’t become my enemy?”

"You fought with Captain America and Hydra for so long. Don't you understand that Hydra and I are now at war to the death?"

Bucky's face froze, he knew Harry was right.

But deep down in Bucky's heart, he was really tired of all the fighting and killing, and he just wanted to be an ordinary person again.

Harry knew what he wanted, so he wanted to break the illusion in Bucky's mind.

"Don't think that the murders committed by the Winter Soldier over the years have nothing to do with you," Harry's face turned cold in an instant, "Those are sins you must bear for the rest of your life. If you want to atone for your sins, then devote your body and soul to the battle to destroy Hydra. You have no other choice!"
