I can be considered an old author. I have been trying to write novels on and off since high school, and I am still writing today.

First of all, putting aside the time five years ago, when I was...writing a harem novel for the first time, harem novels are a very unfamiliar subject to me.

It’s not that I don’t read harem novels, but I only read them when I was in the first and second year of high school. During my four years in college, there are almost no novels that left a deep impression on me.

Speaking of which, the first book I submitted, "First Love of the Year", was actually a harem book, but I submitted it to the wrong person at the time. It was submitted as a short story and it only had 100,000 words.

Then I started writing three books, but maybe due to the limitations of the subject matter, the results have been hard to describe.

So when I opened this book, I was confused.

I just don't know what to write and can't grasp the exact direction, so I can only follow XP.

During this period of time, I have been catching up on a lot of novels with female protagonists. There are 107 books in the relevant bookshelf. These books are like a mess in my mind, and I don’t know where their thoughts are directed.

So later on, I stopped reading it, because the more I read, the more confused I became. Then I tried to calm down and re-examine the book.

The following is my mental journey while writing.

When I wrote the 30th chapter of this book, "I am your concubine", many book friends left comments saying that it was distorted. This gave me a direction, because I actually didn't think it was distorted, but I thought this direction was feasible, so I continued writing along this path.

In Chapter 58 "Sword Armor", I felt the push of Zhou Yitang's stubborn emotion, and this emotion continued to Yin Tingxue, and finally the flowers fell in an instant.

It can be said that by the time I finished Chapter 61, I finally understood exactly what I was going to write.

So later on, everyone can see with their own eyes that the more I wrote, the smoother my flow became, and the more ideas I had, the more I wrote.

Yin Tingxue is my favorite character in the whole book. She often makes me feel a tightening in my chest, and then love and pity follow.

I don’t know if you have ever experienced this feeling of tightness, but it is really a wonderful feeling. Basically, many plots about Yin Tingxue make me feel this way.

So many of the plots about Yin Tingxue were thought about before going to bed at night. Speaking of this, let's talk about Chen Yi.

To be honest, it's hard for me to create that kind of villain protagonist because I'm not that kind of person.

In fact, Chen Yi could be written as a bit more brutal, for example, he actually interrupted Yin Tingxue's longevity bridge, or he treated Yin Tingxue as a plaything from beginning to end.

But I am not that kind of person, I am a very compassionate person.

When I read harem novels, I find it hard to tolerate the protagonist not loving any of the female protagonists. This is the biggest poison point for me.

I remember that there was a period of time when I read a lot of online articles, and I felt that I was as cruel and ruthless as the protagonists of some online articles. But when I think about it carefully, the cruel things I have done are just that I didn’t give money to a disabled homeless person passing by on the street. So it is difficult for me to write a protagonist with such cruel hands.

So Chen Yi is not actually a real villain. In essence, he is a person with bottom line and empathy.

Finally, let’s talk about the emotional line of this book.

I have a predetermined love storyline for almost every heroine, for example, Yin Tingxue is sorrow, Zhou Yitang is determination, Min Ning is chivalrous, Yin Weiying is desire, and Lin Wanguan is warmth...

Speaking of which, many people say that the emotional line in this book is written for females.

But in fact, if you read more, you will find that this is not the case. The reason why everyone has this feeling is that, first, there are very few online novels that write about such topics, and second, I pay more attention to the thoughts of the female characters themselves.

In fact, the writing ideas of female novels are different. Female romance novels focus more on the torture of the hero by the heroine, and pay more attention to the situation where the heroine tortures the heroine into ashes in the early stage, and the heroine tortures the hero into ashes in the later stage, and the hero tries every means to get her but fails.

But in this book, Chen Yi's love and compassion are more spontaneous.

I will stop here for my thoughts on the book, and ask for subscriptions from everyone. Now that I have ideas, the book will get better and better and will not disappoint everyone's expectations!

I hope everyone will give me a first order and keep following up!! I hope everyone can spread the word!!
