Chapter 184 Confirmation

Chapter 184 Confirmation
The fourth floor of Hogwarts is a restricted area. Ever since Hagrid suggested to Dumbledore last time that the surrounding management should be strengthened to prevent Harry and his friends from trying to break in, Filch began to pass by here from time to time.

At the end of Easter, most students had finished their homework. The reason why Harry and his classmates finished it today was because Ron and his classmates dragged him out to play a few days before the holiday.

This also leads to the fact that almost all students used to spend their time in the library.

Now, the weather is fine and sunny, and there are very few students staying in the castle.

Harry hid in the corner of the fifth floor, looking towards the fourth floor from time to time.

"Harry, forget it, it's just a dream." Ron whispered from behind.

"Harry, if you must - what are you prepared for?" Draco said, also hiding behind.

Then Harry pulled out the flute that Hagrid had given him for Christmas. Harry had been carrying it with him since their journey in the Forbidden Forest.

"Harry! You weren't prepared to break into the restricted area!"

"Harry, in my opinion, your dream is most likely caused by your mentality. I suggest you give it more thought." Ron and Draco whispered.

"Don't worry, I'm just taking a look. I'll leave after I confirm what Lu Wei looks like." Harry turned his head and comforted him.

Suddenly, someone grabbed Harry's neck from behind. Just as Harry was about to pull out his wand to fight back, a voice rang out, "Hey, look? Who's this?"

"Isn't this the nemesis of the poltergeist, our Phoenix Guardian and the bad boy of the Malfoy family?"

It's Fred and George!
"Damn it! Can you two stop calling me that?" Ron said with red ears.

"I have a name!" Draco said unhappily, with a droopy face. Combined with his light blond hair, his head looked like a lemon.

"Harry, you don't have to talk. You want to go to the restricted area on the fourth floor, right?"

"Why didn't you call us when there's such an interesting thing to do?" Fred and George said in a low voice.

"We're not playing a prank!"

"We have serious things to do!" Ron said angrily. Even though he was taller than the twins, anyone could tell that he was the younger brother.

"Okay, okay! Our dear little brothers, do you have any 'serious matters' that we can help you with?" Fred and George said in unison and let go of Harry at the same time.

"Can you help me distract Filch?" Harry requested.

"Well, who says you're Harry?"

"Owner of the Weasley sweater."

"If mom knew we ignored your request."

"She'll definitely blame us!" After saying this, Harry didn't have time to thank them both before their figures disappeared like ghosts.

".She will definitely blame us." Ron imitated the tone of his brothers, "I am their younger brother. I asked them to give me a Christmas present before, but they refused."

After Fred and George disappeared, Harry kept looking towards the fourth floor seriously, while Ron complained.

"Harry, why don't we go back to the common room and get the Invisibility Cloak?"

"This way we don't have to wait." Ron complained, then his IQ regained the upper hand and said.

"If you had told me earlier, I would--" Harry turned his head and complained, then he held his breath in the middle of his words.

When you encounter an emergency, or simply see a dangerous event on video that requires your full attention, you will find that you almost forget to breathe.

The same was true for Harry and the other two.

"Disgusting! Hissing slugs... frog brains... rat intestines... I've had enough... I have to kill a chicken to scare the monkeys... it's Easter..." Filch muttered angrily and disappeared into the corridor on the fourth floor.

"Hurry up! Time is urgent!" Harry shouted.

Fortunately, perhaps because of the unknown prank that Fred and George had played, there was no one on the fourth floor or the surrounding area, not just Filch. A few seconds later, they arrived outside the corridor on the fourth floor.

At the end of the corridor, a chained wooden door appeared in front of Harry and others.

"Why don't we just lie on the door and take a look through the crack?" Ron backed out when he saw that the door was locked.

"This is a restricted area where the Philosopher's Stone is hidden. This lock--" Draco stopped talking halfway.

"Alahoo!" Harry knocked on the lock and whispered, "Draco, what do you think of this lock?"

"Nothing." Draco looked shocked, then muttered that the professors had already set up defenses and there was no need to worry about the door.

Harry took a deep breath and opened the door.

Just one look—Harry slammed the door.

There were deafening roars coming from inside the door, and Harry ran, no, he was literally running.

The three of them gasped for breath. Ron and Draco saw Harry running and started running after him.

"Harry, why - don't you - want to see Fluffy?" Ron asked breathlessly and intermittently, and Draco also looked at Harry with a puzzled look.

"Already seen it."

"It's huge." Harry said in a tone of having survived a disaster, "I finally understand."

"What?" Draco couldn't help but interrupt.

"Noberta is just a child after all, Hagrid is right." Harry's face turned pale.

"What does this have to do with Norbeta?" Ron couldn't figure it out for a moment.

"Weasley, how did you get into Ravenclaw!"

"It's obvious, Lou Williams is too big, and Norberta is just a little kid compared to him." Draco complained unhappily.

"Yes, it's so big that it fills up all the space from the ceiling to the floor. I wonder how he got in there, what he eats, and where he poops."

"I didn't see any place for it to go to the toilet either." Harry complained after he came to his senses.

"Maybe there are house-elves," Draco explained.

"What are house-elves?" Harry asked. Before Draco came back, Ron couldn't wait to say, "They are close relatives of goblins. They are slaves in ancient wizard families. They must obey all the requests of their masters, that is, family members, unless they are freed."

"My mother would love to have one so she doesn't have to do housework."

Harry's eyes widened, "There are slaves in the wizarding world?"

"They are magical creatures that cannot live without their masters. Without their masters, they would feel worse than death."

"As Percy mentioned before, the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures of the Ministry of Magic has issued guidelines for the rights of house-elves to prevent them from being abused." Draco introduced casually, preparing to change the subject.

He fails to mention that, although this policy had been in place for some time, it was not enforced, and that many wizarding families, such as the Malfoys and the Blacks, mistreat their house-elves as a result.

If he said too much, Harry might become alienated from him.

"By the way, is that Fluffy the same as the one in your dream?" Draco asked.

"Exactly the same." Harry said in a low voice.

This means that in addition to Quirrell and Voldemort, there is another powerful wizard who has set his sights on the Philosopher's Stone.

He even put the three-headed dog into a deep sleep with just a few words, something even Voldemort couldn't do.
