Meet the Gentleman

Chapter 80: Holy Path 1

Chapter 80: The Eleventh Level of the Holy Path (Seeking Recommendation Vote)

The news that Feng Sanding spoke with great power and broke through three realms in a row spread throughout the academy and Bo City like wings, shocking countless people.

Moreover, it was also passed on to the 81st Academy.

Feng Qingyan was very calm. Breaking through three realms in a row didn't mean anything.

There are so many geniuses in the world, but how many of them are promoted to great scholars? If you are not a great scholar, no matter how talented you are, what's the use? You are just one or two steps ahead of your peers.

Throughout the Zhou Dynasty, there were countless old Confucian scholars who were unknown in the first half of their lives, but suddenly attained enlightenment and became ministers of literature, or even were promoted to great Confucian scholars.

Just like Helian Shan's grandfather, he was just an old Confucian scholar in the 27 books of Confucianism in the first half of his life. When he was about to reach the age of 60, he was still an ordinary literary teacher. However, he broke through overnight and became a literary minister. Within half a year, he was promoted to a great Confucian scholar. Then, within five years, he surpassed all the great Confucian scholars and became the Grand Minister of the Six Officials of Confucianism, ranking only below the three palaces.

Therefore, sometimes what is scary is not the genius, but those unknown old Confucian scholars.

Because no one knows whether the other party will be able to break through and become a great scholar overnight.

Such examples were not uncommon in the Zhou Dynasty.

After the morning scripture class, Feng Qingyan went to the library, intending to read some books about the Palace of Literature and spiritual practice.

He is still not very clear about Confucian practice.

"As soon as he opened the Wen Palace, he broke through three realms in a row. He is worthy of being the world-famous Feng Sanding." In front of the library, Mu Yu came in a fluttering white robe with a smile on his face, "Brother, you are famous again. Yu admires you very much."

"You are overpraising me, shepherdess."

Feng Qingyan shook his head and smiled.

This morning, almost all he heard were words like this...

At this time, many zither players from Fengming Zither Club came to congratulate him. After all, he was the president of their own zither club, which made the players feel honored.

After Feng Qingyan greeted the other zither players, he entered the library and went to the second floor.

The painting of the quiet path suddenly turned into a real path. For Feng Qingyan, it was not difficult at all.

He entered the library and came to the bookshelf where the Wen Palace books were placed.

He took out a few books, took them to the grass next to him, sat down, and began to read carefully.

The Palace of Literature is the foundation of the holy way.

Only by opening the Palace of Literature can one embark on the glorious holy path.

For the disciples of the Holy Way, the most important thing is the Palace of Literature. If the Palace of Literature is damaged or broken, the Holy Way may be cut off.

This made Feng Qingyan secretly cautious.

The bigger the Wen Palace is, the greater the advantage it has over the Saint Dao disciples of the same realm, the most obvious of which is the power of the Saint Dao. Moreover, the more Wen Qi it can store, the more likely it is that it can even consume the Wen Dao disciples of the same realm to death.

When Feng Qingyan saw this, he began to understand why everyone was so shocked.

However, he was already at the seventh rank of literary talent when he first opened his literary palace. So, is this two-hundred-zhang literary palace considered a newly opened literary palace, or a literary palace for the seventh rank of literary talent?
This is worth considering.

In fact, even Feng Qingyan didn't notice it. Was it more than two hundred feet when the Wen Palace was just opened, or was it more than two hundred feet after he was promoted to the seventh rank of Wencai?

But it doesn't matter to him anymore.

He read quickly.

Soon, he returned to the bookshelf and pulled out a few more volumes.

After finishing one of the volumes, I couldn't help but smile silently. This book talked about the Eleven Levels of the Holy Way.

Initially, there were only nine grades in the holy path, but later some people thought that nine grades were not enough to reflect the profoundness of the holy path, so they divided it into eleven grades.

Moreover, it is recognized by people all over the world, especially scholars.

The eleven elements of the Noble Path are:
Ninth Grade Scholar
Eighth Grade Literary Student
Seventh-rank literary talent
Sixth-rank scribe
Fifth Rank Literary Master
Fourth Rank Literary Minister
Sampin Munjae
Second Rank Duke Wen
First-class Wenzong

Wang Pinwen Wang
Holy Spirit
Duke Wen was a great Confucian scholar in Confucianism, a great lawmaker or legalist in Legalism, a great Mohist in Mohism, a great doctor in medicine, and a great farmer in agriculture…

Each school has its own name. King Wen is a great sage, and each school has its own name.

Originally, each level of literary rank had four minor realms: the initial realm, the middle realm, the upper realm, and the great realm.

But after later generations divided the nine grades into eleven grades, it resulted in the Wenxiang realm and Wengong realm having only three small realms: the initial realm, the middle realm and the upper realm.

As for the great achievement of the Minister of Literature, he becomes a third-grade minister of literature.

Duke Wen reached the state of great accomplishment and became a first-class literary master.

The original second-rank King Wen and first-rank Saint Wen were changed to king-rank King Wen and saint-rank Saint Wen.

This division of ranks from nine to eleven was actually recognized by many scholars, but many people still habitually call the third-rank Wenzai "Wenxiang".

For example, Master An, who is the first person under the great scholar, is at the great level of Wen Xiang, that is, the third-rank Wen Zai. Another example is the great teacher Baili Kun and the old teacher Zhang Xiu, both of whom are third-rank Wen Zai, and are at the same level as Master An.

But it is customarily called Wenxiang, or Wenxiang realm.

Some people think that nine is the extreme and twelve is the ultimate, and the eleven grades of the holy way are neither up nor down, which seems inappropriate. Therefore, they proposed to divide the Wang grade into two grades, namely Xian grade Wenxian and Wang grade Wenwang, or Xiao Wang grade Wenxian and Da Wang grade Wenwang, or Xiao Wang grade Xiao Wenwang and Da Wang grade Da Wenwang...

Others believe that twelve is not the ultimate, twelve is perfection, and thirteen is the ultimate.

It is proposed to divide the holy items into two more grades, making a total of thirteen grades of the holy path, to show the profoundness of the glorious holy path.

Unfortunately, the latter two proposals did not receive much approval.

But there are still people working hard for it.

Although all the students in Zangshan Academy have opened a Wen Palace, and their teachers are all scholars with a literati rank or above, but in the entire Zhou world, those who have opened a Wen Palace are still a minority.

Therefore, literati have a high status.

In fact, this can be reflected in the names of the literary positions such as Wen Xiang, Wen Gong, and Wen Wang, as well as the change of the second-rank Wen Wang to Wang Pin and the first-rank Wen Sheng to Sheng Pin.

The prime minister is naturally the prime minister of a country.

The word "gong" naturally refers to the "gong" of duke, marquis, and earl.

The king is naturally the king of human kings.

In other words, a great Confucian scholar can be on equal footing with the princes, a great sage can stand shoulder to shoulder with the king, and a saint is naturally above the king.

After reading this, Feng Qingyan understood why scholars agreed to the division of nine to eleven.

Moreover, it is vigorously promoted throughout the world.

"I am now at the beginning of literary talent..."

Feng Qingyan said after looking inside Wen Palace.

In fact, the initial state, intermediate state, third state and great state are not as important as imagined, because they are passed in the blink of an eye.

For example, Feng Qingyan was a seventh-rank literary talent as soon as the Wen Palace was opened.

He had not even experienced the Wentong Realm and the Wensheng Realm, let alone the four minor realms.

In fact, the three realms of Wentong, Wensheng and Wencai are not that difficult and generally require the accumulation of literary energy.

But reaching the level of a sixth-grade scholar is not that easy.

In this realm, countless seventh-rank literary talents have been trapped to death, and have never been able to take even a single step forward in their entire lives...

If you want to become a scholar, you must first forge a literary character.

The bones of a text are the foundation of all "grammar".

Fa refers to the law of magic, such as Confucianism, Confucian-Legalism, etc. This is why the "paper talk" of military strategists generally requires scholars to deduce.
