Chapter 47: Fighting a war means not following the rules of martial ethics (Please recommend, please vote for me, please read it later)
After Red finished the battle in the mining town, he walked around the town twice and killed a sniper-type GM that was trying to launch a sneak attack. After confirming that there were no Earth Federation mobile suits around, he picked up a relatively intact land-based GM and used it as a shield to climb the mine.

Apsalas III will come out from the base on the mountain to deal with that big guy. The first sneak attack is very important. The beam gun in your hand is not a sniper type, and the beam range is limited. The rocket launcher obviously cannot directly hit the top of the mountain from the small town.

So Red had to climb up the hillside and attack from close range. Otherwise, once the Apsalas III was launched, the NT-1 Gundam, which had no flying ability, would only be a target on the ground. Before Angie and Noin forced him to the ground, he could not effectively attack.

However, when Red was still halfway up the mountain, Angel and Noin had already completed their mission in a United Flag and arrived at the mining town for support.

Since the enemy hadn't appeared yet, and seeing Red manipulating the NT-1 Gundam to climb the mountain "with difficulty", Angie, who was flying low in MS form, couldn't help but tease:
"Red, Noin and I have completed our mission. How long do you want to climb the mountain? Do you need us to pull you to the top?"

After receiving Angie's call, Red's tense nerves on the battlefield relaxed a little, his expression was not so cold, and he answered in a normal tone.

"Angie, are you and Noin okay?"

An Qi was quite satisfied that Red's first words were about his concern for her, so she smiled and replied
"Of course it's fine. To be more precise, we didn't encounter any serious resistance. This Earth Federation ground carrier is not as hard to fight as the Loracia class. It was defeated before we even touched it.

If there was any fighting, it was the fighter planes that took off from the temporary airport at the back, but their speed, flexibility, and firepower were not good enough. It was not as interesting as fighting Mobius in the simulated battle.

Moreover, when we came back, we found that the main force of the Earth Federation was retreating. We didn’t know whether it was because the commander issued a retreat order before his death or for some other reason. We listened to you and didn’t do much correction with them in order to save ammunition. Anyway, none of them could fly, and their weapons couldn’t hit us. ”

Red nodded. The main force of this battle was Apsalas III. It would be fine to spare the lives of those miscellaneous soldiers of the Earth Federation as long as they did not cause trouble. Red was not a murderer, and he was not so short of G coins now.

So Red began to guide Angie and the others to find the last few enemies.

"Angie, Noin. I observed the mountain before climbing it, and I didn't find any obvious large entrances or exits. So if the final opponent is a large MA, it can only come out from the top of the mountain. From your perspective, can you see what's on the top of the mountain?"

Red's question was answered immediately by Noin, who was observing the surrounding terrain.

"There's a volcanic lake on the top of the mountain. But this is a mining town, and most volcanoes in Southeast Asia are on islands. This place is landlocked, so I don't think it's likely that a town would be built next to a volcano, even if it's an extinct volcano. What's more, there's a large Zeon base inside the mountain. If this is a volcano, then I can only say that the Zeon troops here are really brave."

Red said that Noin was indeed professional and worthy of being an OZ instructor. So he praised him.
"Accurate analysis means we are almost certain that the final enemy will come out from the gap in the fake volcanic lake. Noin, you and Angie go check if there are any defenders there. If there are, kill them first. Then when our opponent comes out, use the narrow crater to surprise him."

Noin didn't think much of Red's praise, because this analysis was just basic training. When he was an instructor, he had told countless cases to the recruits.

As for Anqi, she felt a little jealous of Redquano because of her. It was not jealousy, but she was just a little unhappy. So she said in a coquettish way:
"Noin, please teach me how to read the battlefield situation. I also want to stand out."

Nuo Yin had known An Qi for quite some time. He knew that although her fighting ability was comparable to that of a female humanoid Tyrannosaurus, she was still very tender and vulnerable, so he replied half-jokingly:
"Of course you can, but we need to analyze the battlefield situation. You won't have time to flirt with Red."

After Noin said this, Red didn't have to guess, Angie must have blushed and was about to become arrogant.

Sure enough, Anqi's angry voice came out immediately in the team communication.
"Who was flirting with him? I won't say any more. I'll go up and take a look first." Then, Red saw Angel's car accelerate in the sky and rush to the top of the crater.

Noin could only smile and shake his head, then drove the machine to catch up.

Red couldn't see the scene on the top of the mountain from his angle, but after Angel and Noin flew up, the sound of machine guns was immediately heard from above.

An Qi also said in the team voice

"There is something in the crater. There are two strange machines guarding here."

After saying that, Red received the synchronized images from Noin.

Red saw that they were two flying Gufus from the original story, and said directly
"These two machines will take off. Be careful of their surprise attack. If you have a chance, you can kill them directly."

As soon as Red finished speaking, two explosions were heard on the top of the mountain, and then An Qi said in the voice
"Okay, it's done. Easy."

Red knew that with Angie's ability, it would only take two shots to deal with the two flying Guffs, but now he couldn't favor one over the other. He had to praise her.

"Great, great, Anqi, you are the best in the world. Next, prepare the anti-ship missiles. When the real enemy shows up, don't be polite, just bombard it with all your missiles."

As soon as Red finished speaking, Noin immediately said

"Angie, stay away from the mountain, the water surface is starting to fluctuate, something is coming out from below!"

Upon hearing this, An Qi decisively controlled the machine to transform into MA form, instantly rising to the same height as Noin and then changing back into MS form.

Soon, a huge shadow appeared under the huge "volcanic lake". The whole shadow was long and narrow. It was not clear underwater, but it was at least 50 meters above. An Qi complained.

"Have I encountered a dragon again? What the hell is this thing? It's so big. Is it a machine?"

Reid heard Angie's complaints and thought to himself, the dragons you have there are much harder to deal with than this thing. His three machines would definitely be at an absolute disadvantage in a shootout with Apsalas III. But if he attacked when it was out, this kind of machine, which doesn't even have a large MA in the I-FIELD field (I-FIELD particle deflection field), would just be a long potsticker with a thin skin and a large filling.

So Reid said directly
"Angie, don't be surprised. That thing is really big. Although the armor is thick, it is not impossible to break through. Attack as soon as it comes out of the water. Don't hesitate. There is no need to follow martial ethics in war. Do a sneak attack if you can. Don't give the enemy any chance to counterattack!"
