Chapter 12 Metropolis

Chapter 12 Metropolis

"Don't worry, when others see me, they will at most think I'm a human with prosthetic body parts." Ta Pai seemed much more optimistic than Sun Jack.

"And in the metropolis, countless people come in and leave every day, and no one cares about us."

"As for the traces of the space station, the impact of landing and the brutal search by the mercenaries afterwards have already erased them for us."

"I hope so." Now that we are unfamiliar with the place, we can only take it one step at a time.

I don’t know if it’s because of those mercenaries or the company’s practices that made Sun Jack feel like someone was trying to kill him all the time.

"There should be normal people in this world, right? It's impossible that everyone in the world is crazy and I'm the only normal person, right?" he thought to himself.

Just as Sun Jieke was lost in his thoughts, Song 6PUS interrupted his thoughts with a sentence. "Look, we're at the metropolis."

Sun Jack looked in the direction of his e-cigarette and found that in the distance of the gray skyline, a bright colorful light pierced through all the dim tones outside the window.

"Metropolis?" When Sun Jack sat up, the mechanical stretcher under him automatically moved towards the window, allowing him to see more clearly.

As the spacecraft approached rapidly, a dazzling three-dimensional neon city soon appeared in front of Sun Jack.

Row upon row of skyscrapers are interspersed with brightly lit streets. Various spaceships shuttle back and forth among dazzling colorful neon billboards and huge three-dimensional projection advertisements. There is a constant flow of traffic in the sky and underground.

All the advertisements are vivid and constantly changing. There seems to be no restrictions on the advertisements here. Guns, sex, and all the explicit advertisements that Sun Jack can and cannot imagine are played freely on the streets.

Sun Jack understood some of the advertisements, but he could not comprehend the content.

"The Taotie strengthens your stomach, allowing you to enjoy everything and devour everything, whether it is lava or nuclear waste, you can taste it yourself."

"Red Clay Stove 8 Youth ProminiMax is now on sale! Powerful and cheap, the gun body is 3D printed with safe polyester material, non-toxic when ingested, Red Clay Stove, the only choice for children's weapons."

Pedestrians on the street are wearing all kinds of strange clothes, with all kinds of data cables and metal prostheses everywhere on their bodies, some of which are even more exaggerated than Tapai's.

The rain and fog brought by the continuous rain cast a hazy filter on everything. Looking at everything in front of him, Sun Jie Ke had a feeling that it was both real and illusory, as if he was in a dream.

"Is this the metropolis?" Sun Jack opened his eyes wide and stared at everything outside the window. Everything was in stark contrast to his own experience, as if they were two completely different worlds.

When the spaceship slowly landed, the injuries of Sun Jack and Song 6PUS had completely healed, and even Song 6PUS's broken arm was equipped with a medical backup prosthesis.

As soon as the door of the hovercraft opened, the bright world outside suddenly had sounds. Sun Jack suddenly appeared in this extremely strange world. He felt restrained and didn't know where to put his hands. All of this was very strange to him.

"Hahaha! Bro! Let's go! Let's have fun together!" Song Liu, with a smile on his face, walked casually to the car nearby, raised his robotic arm and smashed the glass hard.

Then he pulled out a data cable from his prosthetic wrist and plugged it directly into the socket on the steering wheel. With a click, the car started.

The glass was smashed, the data cable was plugged in, and the door was pulled, all in one smooth movement. It was obvious that this was not the first time he had done this.

"Um, this doesn't look like your car, does it?" "What do you mean you fuck it? It's mine in my hands! Let's go! Get in the car!"

When Sun Jieke and Ta Pai got into the car, Song Liu stepped on the accelerator and took off.

Song 6 drove without paying any attention to traffic rules. He turned on the convertible mode and drove in the opposite direction at high speed. The wind blew Sun Jieke's hair and scalp backwards, and the rain hit his face painfully.

At the end, he even stood up, put his foot on the steering wheel, raised his hands and cheered to the whole city. "Freedom City! Oh!! Fuck me! Come on! I'm back alive again! Hahahaha!!"

The sound of advertisements in the city, which was almost light-polluted, was mixed with the sound of faint gunfire, as if responding to his shouts.

"Fuck! Get out of here! Are you crazy or on drugs?" Sun Jieke punched him directly and pulled him back to the driver's seat.

"Hahaha! Of course. Then what do you think I'm smoking now?"

At this moment, Sun Jack saw someone standing on the roof behind the floating advertisement in front of him. He didn't know what he was doing. "There's someone there!"

"Nothing, just jumping off the building." As soon as he finished speaking, the man in the distance jumped up.

Song 6pus, with an e-cigarette in his mouth, whistled over there, "Oh! Dude, you're awesome! Do a somersault!!" As he spoke, he turned on the live broadcast again.

The man who jumped off the building seemed to have heard it. He somersaulted in the air with difficulty and then raised his middle finger towards this side.

"Bang!" The man fell directly not far in front of the car, and his entire head split into pieces like a watermelon, with white and red spilling all over the ground.

Song Liu didn't care at all, as if it was a very trivial matter. He stepped on the accelerator and the car ran over the corpse. The tires slid in the rain, leaving two deep bloody marks.

"Oh my God, what's going on in this city?" Just when Sun Jie Ke was still in a daze about what happened just now, the car stopped in front of a towering building. The top of the building was still spewing white fireworks along with the heavy breathing of men and women.

Song 6pus hooked his arm around Sun Jack's neck and walked in. The obscene sounds instantly replaced the advertisement and filled Sun Jack's ears.

Before Sun Jie Ke had time to see the display inside the building, he heard Song Liu speak. "Where is the bitch! I want to whore her!"

In a transparent champagne glass as tall as a person not far away, a catwoman wearing a miniskirt and luminous stockings sat up from the drink.

Then, she was all wet, shaking her tail, and walked towards the two of them with a cat step in her high heels, smiling and shouting sweetly, "The bitch is coming~~"

"Come and lick him! This is my brother! The kind that will save your life!"

Catwoman came close with a greasy sweet scent. She danced around Sun Jack, swaying against his body and whispering orchids into his ear.

The next moment, she bit her lower lip lightly, thrust her chest forward, and spread her legs towards Sun Jie Ke. A pink light shot out from inside, illuminating Sun Jie Ke's mouth, which was wide open due to shock, and his pupils, which were constantly trembling. "Can it still glow?"

Song 6PUS hugged Sun Jieke's neck and shouted loudly into his ear despite the surrounding noise: "Brother! Welcome to the City of Freedom!!"
