The Devil Comes to America

Chapter 11: This is Faith

Chapter 11: This is Faith

Wang Fugui looked at his cell phone and then looked at Xiu Nuo.

After thinking for a while, Wang Fugui said, "How should I respond?"

"Haven't you ever considered this situation?"

"This guy is the person in charge of the temporary camp. I can ignore him."

"Then tell him." Xiu Nuo said calmly, "You received a large sum of money. Some idiot was frightened by the rainforest process. He took out his savings and asked you to send him to the Bahamas."

"what?"

Xiu Nuo handed the phone to Wang Fugui: "If we are lucky, those people will go to Ecuador and wait, right? And we don't need a visa to go to the Bahamas, right? You just said that."

"This is what I just said, but you just knew this and you're already..." Wang Fugui was so shocked that he was speechless.

After thinking for a long time, he finally said: "I really believe what you said now. I think you won't do that even if we are caught."

Xiu Nuo closed his eyes slightly: "Believe me, if I am caught, none of you can escape. At least, you are all my accomplices. No one will believe that I can kill so many people by myself."

Wang Fugui's mouth twitched suddenly: "What did you see?"

"You want to abandon us and run away on your own later on."

This one sentence made both women nervous at the same time.

Wang Fugui's eyes twitched: "Is there nothing you can't think of?"

"you guess."

"I"

"Do your job well, Fugui. I'm going to take a break. One last reminder to you: my patience and endurance are limited."

It was just a simple sentence, but it made Wang Fugui shudder.

This man is a little too scary!

This must be a highly intelligent criminal! He got the benefits because he committed a crime!
Diego looked at the person in charge in front of him who was beaten black and blue, and then spat.

He walked up to Jonas and said, "Half of the people have left, leaving only these people. According to what you said, I asked the first group of people who left. Joe, why are you focusing on the first group of people who left?"

"Because what these people told me is too similar to what your men analyzed, Diego." Jonas tore open his shirt. "This damn rainforest climate, I was supposed to only stay here for half a day, but you dragged me here for a day and a half!"

"Think about that half Jonas." Diego snorted, "That's a lot of profit. Do you think it's that easy to get a half-percent discount from me? I'm a drug dealer! Drug dealers understand! Not priests!"

Jonas sighed helplessly, "Okay, for the money's sake."

"I thought it would say for God's sake."

"Come on, if God knew what I was doing, he would just find a way to send me to hell." Jonas looked around: "So, what's the news? Don't tell me they heard gunshots and there was a gunfight. I'm tired of hearing that. These people saw your brother with their own eyes! Where are the two men and two women your brother took away?"

"That's what I wanted to ask, Joe." Diego looked at Jonas suspiciously. "According to your reasoning, my brother should have been dead for a long time to become like that. However, these people saw my brother alive about a day ago. Why is that?"

"Why?" Jonas' voice rose. "I want to know why, too! And that's not my inference, Diego! That's science! Science tells me. If you don't believe me, go ask the AI! Ask it how that damn mummy was formed!"

"So why?"

"You" Jonas suddenly felt like he was talking to a wall.

Jonas ruffled his hair: "Let me think about it."

After a while, Jonas looked at Diego and said, "Okay, I admit that I can't think of anything special. I have two inferences now. It depends on which one you believe."

"You say." "The first one." Jonas raised his index finger: "Those bastards knew black magic. They killed your brother and sucked him dry."

When Diego heard this, a hint of thought appeared in his eyes.

Jonas was in despair. Are these damned second-generation drug addicts really brainless? They are actually thinking about this obviously nonsense! !

Jonas quickly raised his middle finger and said, "The second is that these people made a mistake."

"That's impossible!" Diego retorted immediately.

"Oh, God." Jonas stretched out his hands and looked at Diego in shock: "You would rather believe that there is black magic in this world than believe that these people made a mistake?"

Diego was thoughtful: "No, Joe, but my great-grandma once told me a story about..."

"Damn it! Who wants to listen to your great-grandmother's stories! Are you showing off your happy family to me, Diego?" Jonas said, pointing at the two yellow people in the distance: "Come on, tell me! What's the difference between them!"

Diego looked over, thought for a moment, and then said, "It seems."

"Nothing's different, right?"

"Yeah but it must be different, right?"

"What did I hear? You're asking me back!" Jonas rubbed his nose. "Forget it. I shouldn't have argued with you about this. For the sake of dollars, yes, for the sake of dollars. If you can't tell the difference between these people, how can they tell the difference between people like us?"

"I mean, if it was someone pretending to be your brother, with a little disguise, just a little, then they wouldn't be able to tell the difference, right?"

Diego's eyes lit up: "That makes sense!"

Jonas took a deep breath. He felt that if he stayed with this man any longer, his IQ would be lowered.

"So, you haven't told me what's going on with those guys, Diego! Stop interrupting me! Tell me the answer I want, or even if God comes and asks me to help you, I'll just give him the middle finger!"

“Hey, calm down Joe.” Diego obviously realized something, and he immediately said, “The news over there is that the people you are looking for gave the guide a large sum of money. They were scared by what happened in Panama and didn’t dare to go to Honduras next, so they asked the guide to send them to the Bahamas, and they wanted to go to Florida from there.”

Diego said with a bit of pride: "I will send people to the Bahamas to look for them, and then send people to Ecuador to wait, we will definitely find them..."

Jonas looked at Diego as if he was an idiot. "I'm glad you have a plan, Diego. But I want to ask you in advance, if you don't find them in Ecuador and the Bahamas, can I still get my commission?"

"Of course not!"

"Then I need to improve it by another half a percent."

"Hey, kinda Contract Spirit Joe!"

"This is mentally damaging to Diego!" Jonas stared at Diego. "Believe me, when I agreed to the half deal, I never thought that my biggest resistance would come from within!"

"Only half done." Obviously, when it comes to the question of money, Diego shows wisdom that he didn't have before: "Or, I still have bullets."

"Okay." Jonas instantly changed his previous attitude: "Let's keep chasing them, follow their route! But we are already behind, so we have to be faster than them and go to Honduras!"

“But there’s Costa Rica ahead.”

"They are already here."

“And Nicaragua.”

"Can your people cover the entire Nicaragua? In a relatively safe place like Nicaragua, they have plenty of ways to take roads we don't know about! But Honduras is different. Tegucigalpa is the only way!"

Jonas' voice was clearly filled with anger when he said this: "Do as I say and don't think for yourself, okay Diego! Even if you don't believe me, you must believe in my belief in the US dollar! A belief that cannot be questioned or tarnished!"
