Chapter 173 Little Devil

The sky over Dragonstone was like a clear sapphire, the sun was pouring down, and the sea breeze was blowing, bringing with it a salty scent.

The waves tirelessly hit the beach, making rhythmic sounds, driving a small boat slowly towards the shore. The boat, surrounded by the waves, swayed slightly and came to a steady stop.

Two soldiers looked serious and carried a tightly tied dwarf off the boat with somewhat rough movements.

The soldiers of the First Legion patrolling in the distance saw the uniforms of those soldiers from afar, and their tense expressions relaxed a little. A young soldier with doubts in his eyes said, "They are from the fleet. Why don't they patrol the sea properly and bring back half a person? Is this a jester for His Majesty?"

The patrol leader frowned slightly, but his steps did not stop at all. He said in a deep voice: "Don't make blind guesses, just ask and you will know."

After a while, the two sides met. The patrol leader first politely greeted the soldiers of the fleet, then his eyes fell on the bound dwarf and asked, "Brothers of the fleet, who is this half-man? Please explain it to me so that I can answer if Knight Brienne asks."

Without waiting for the soldiers to answer, the tightly bound dwarf twisted his body anxiously and said hastily, "I am Tyrion Lannister, my father is the current Hand of the King, Lord Tywin. I am here to see His Majesty Gawen on my father's orders. Can you please untie me? This is not the etiquette for hospitality."

Upon hearing this, the fleet soldier beside him flashed a trace of disgust in his eyes, kicked him hard, and shouted angrily: "Shut up, half-man, you are not a guest until your identity is confirmed."

Then he turned to the patrolling soldiers and explained, "We just intercepted a merchant ship that wanted to go to the island. It didn't fly any flags, just as this guy just said, but he had no guards or servants, and we were not sure of his identity, so we planned to hand him over to His Majesty for disposal."

The patrol leader understood what was going on when he heard this. He nodded slightly and said, "So that's how it is. I'll take you to the castle." As he spoke, he prepared to call the patrol team to go with him.

"Hiss——" A loud roar came from the sky, and everyone involuntarily raised their heads to look at the sky.

A red young dragon was circling in the air, the sunlight shining on its red scales, flashing dazzling light.

"It's Her Majesty the Queen, Viserion." a soldier exclaimed.

"There is someone on the dragon's back, and the queen is also there," another soldier with better eyesight continued, with a hint of awe in his tone.

Everyone's eyes were fixed on the giant dragon in the sky and the figure on its back.

Daenerys in the air also noticed the crowd gathered on the beach. She was practicing dragon riding and was a little bored. Out of curiosity, she ordered Viserion to fly down.

Viserion swooped down with a roar, bringing up a gust of wind, and everyone raised their hands to block the blowing sand.

The dragon landed, and Daenerys jumped down gracefully from its back. Her silver hair shone in the sun, and her eyes revealed majesty and curiosity. She glanced at everyone, and finally her eyes fell on the bound dwarf.

Tyrion stared at the giant dragon in front of him with wide eyes, and was shocked. This was the first time he saw the legendary creature so close. The huge body, the ferocious chamfered dragon head, the sharp claws and the scales shining with red light made him forget his own situation for a moment.

But soon, his attention was attracted by Daenerys. Her identity as a dragon rider and her appearance of silver hair and purple eyes made Tyrion instantly understand her identity.

Daenerys raised her chin slightly, looked at Tyrion, and asked, "Who is this person?"

The patrol captain stepped forward and answered respectfully, "Your Majesty, this man calls himself Tyrion Lannister, and said that he came to see His Majesty Gawen on the orders of his father, Lord Tywin. The brothers of the fleet intercepted a merchant ship and found him. As they were unsure of his identity, they brought him to Your Majesty for disposal."

When Daenerys heard the name "Lannister", her eyes seemed to be instantly frozen by the polar ice, and a bone-chilling coldness spread within them.

She was filled with hatred for the Lannisters.

She narrowed her eyes slightly, her gaze shot at Tyrion as coldly as a sword, and said coldly: "Are you a little devil? A Lannister? As the son of Tywin, the brother of the Kingslayer, tell me, where did you get the courage to come here."

Tyrion suppressed his inner panic and tried to calm himself. He raised his head and looked directly into Daenerys' eyes. His voice was slightly trembling but firm: "I guess you are Queen Daenerys. To be honest, I didn't want to come. Maybe my father wanted me to die here to satisfy his pursuit of fame, otherwise he would have sent me a guard. Although I am a Lannister, I can't decide what my family does. I'm sorry for my brother and your father. I heard from Jaime that he had no choice at the time."

After hearing this, Daenerys's face became even colder, as if she could freeze the air around her. She angrily shouted: "I don't understand what kind of necessity would make the White Knight break his oath and kill the people he swore to protect. Why don't I kill you and repay your family for what they have done to my family?"

Viserion sensed Daenerys's rage, and his huge body unconsciously moved forward. The ferocious dragon head slowly approached Tyrion, and its gem-like eyes flashed with a cold light, staring at him coldly, like a hungry beast staring at its helpless prey.

Being in such close contact with the dragon, Tyrion felt his heart beating violently, as if it was about to burst out of his chest. He couldn't help but tremble all over, and his brain was spinning like a fast-spinning windmill, racking his brains to think of how to resolve the crisis in front of him.

Tyrion said anxiously, "Wait a minute. I am here on behalf of the Royal Council to see Gawen Bellerys, the King of the Stepstones and the Narrow Sea. I have something important to tell him. No matter how much hatred you have for the Lannisters, it was not done by me. I am just an unpopular dwarf and have no ability to interfere with my father's choice. Moreover, he hates me so much that I am dead. At least let me see His Majesty Gawen and listen to what I say before making a decision."

Daenerys waved her hand to stop Viserion from making any move. Since he mentioned that he wanted to see Gavin, she decided to listen to his intentions.

"Gavin is not here now. You can say whatever you want to say now." Daenerys said coldly.
