The ringing of the phone broke the peaceful atmosphere. Mingwei glanced at the caller ID; it was Tang Ying.

"Hey, what do you want?" Ming Weiyi said, taking a few steps back before slowly sitting down on the recliner.

On the other end of the phone, Tang Ying sat alone at the dining table and opened her takeout order. Her phone, which was on speakerphone, was on the table.

"My grandfather came to see me today, and he actually apologized to me because of that incident with the man below me," Tang Ying said, picking up a piece of beef dipped in tomato sauce and putting it in her mouth.
