Chapter 82: The Awareness and Attitude of Pursuing Someone
The iron gate opened automatically, and Wen Qi drove straight in.

The old house occupies a large area. In addition to the main villa in front, there are two single-story buildings connected to the back, which are used as warehouses and servants' living quarters.

The main villa has four floors and a garage attached to it.

As soon as Wen Qi's car drove in, a maid went to the living room to call Sui Yi and Ruan Zheng.

As Ji Xian spoke, he turned and walked towards the car. Wen Qi had already taken out the fruit basket and handed it to the maid, while he himself was holding several gift bags.

Wen Qi glanced at her and said, "This is heavy, I'll carry it."

Ji Xian exchanged a glance with him, accepted the tea and the gifts for Ruan Zheng, and walked back to Sui Yi.

"You said you could come, why did you bring anything?" Sui Yi gave her a reproachful look. "Why are you being so polite?"

Ji Xian smiled faintly, "It's been over a year since we last met. How could I possibly come empty-handed? I should at least bring something to see you and your uncle. Is your uncle not home?"

Ruan Zheng replied, "Dad is still at the company right now. He'll be back when he's done."

Sui Yi then pulled her into the house.

The three of them chatted and laughed, completely ignoring Wen Qi behind them.

Wen Qi didn't say anything and silently followed behind.

Once inside, Ji Xian took out all the gifts she had given them. Sui Yi's eyes were full of smiles as she asked her how she had gotten used to life abroad last year and how her work had gone smoothly.

Finally, Ruan Zheng glanced at Wen Qi, who was sitting two body lengths away from Ji Xian, like a wooden stake.

I sighed inwardly.

At this rate, he'll never win her back.

She asked Ji Xian if he was going back to Moscow.

Ji Xian nodded and said he would return at the end of next month.

That's about a month, which should be enough for him. If he still can't catch up, then he'll have to go to Moscow. He can come back whenever he catches her.

In fact, Wen Qi couldn't really get a word in edgewise. Especially when the women were chatting, he would just sit there and listen quietly, occasionally bringing Ji Xian water or fruit if she got tired of talking.

Ji Xian politely declined the offer of fruit the first time.

But Wen Qi didn't listen. When he handed over the second one, Ji Xian gave him a deep look. In front of Sui Yi and Ruan Zheng, he didn't say anything and just accepted it.

As the sun set, Ruan Zheng stood up from her wheelchair. "Ah Xian, let's go for a walk in the backyard."

It was definitely not as comfortable as the heating in the room, so both of them put on coats, and Ruan Zheng even took a scarf.

Wen Qi didn't even look at her, but took his scarf and gave it to her without thinking.
