Jiang Wangxiang understood the reasons behind this and accepted it calmly. He found it amusing that the Desolate Emperor had given him a difficult problem. This guy probably thought he was like him, a Taiyi Golden Immortal who pursued his own strength and followed the path of combat, but he didn't know that he was walking the dead end of the void, the path of primordial chaos.

He might not be able to refine the Three Realms Chaos Stone formed from the inner core, but he could think of a way to utilize its power. So he followed the example of the ancestral god Pangu and tried to test the method himself, splitting the Chaos Stone in half with one hand and restoring the primordial chaos energy of heaven and earth.

Jiang Wang smiled slightly at the Desolate Heavenly Emperor, "I've made a fool of myself!"

At that moment, the god merged with the heavens, unleashing the original mental technique of the Primordial Golden Immortal, stepping into the realm of chaos and nothingness, transforming into a golden light that penetrated into this inconspicuous bead. In an instant, the person and the bead became one, without inside or outside, without self or form, transforming into the unopened Taiji of chaos, and unleashing the mental technique from the Heavenly Chapter to reopen this chaotic inner core.

In an instant, the Desolate Emperor saw Jiang Wang once again unleash the two divine abilities that had blocked the strange ancestor. Not only did he and the pearl turn into nothingness and chaos, but a power also arose from it, effortlessly splitting the Chaos Pearl. Wherever the power went, chaos opened up, giving rise to the Xuan and Huang energies. The Xuan energy rose, the Huang energy descended, and a wisp of abundant and majestic purple energy was flowing within.

Seeing this, Lady Pingxin knew that Jiang Wang's ability to separate the chaos was already at its limit. She said solemnly, "Fellow Daoist Jiang, I will lend you a hand. You can focus on separating the Ancestral Dragon's inner core to fulfill my daughter's wish. That is my business."

With a wave of his hand, the yellow lotus in the void flew straight up to meet it. The inner petals closed together, enveloping the ancestral dragon's inner core. The outer petals slowly swirled, shooting out wisps of primordial and yellow energy, which were then directed towards the nine golden clouds of mist within the white dragon lying in the hall. In the blink of an eye, clouds and mist rose, and the white dragon was enveloped by layers of primordial and yellow energy, with a golden light and a wisp of purple energy flowing within.

The Desolate Emperor and his entourage were utterly shocked. They knew that this was the Primordial Chaos Great Dao that the Empress had spoken of, a primordial power that surpassed even the Sacrifice Dao. Although they had all come into contact with such a realm, how could they compare to two powerful beings from the Primordial World working together to refine that Chaos Inner Core to such a level of clarity and understanding?

This is not a formal explanation, but it is more profound than any explanation. The goddess is taking this opportunity to impart the true essence of the Primordial Chaos Dao to them. Otherwise, in their world, the Great Dao is incomplete, and even if the goddess Houtu wanted to guide them, she would be unable to do so. Such innate and wondrous methods cannot be put into words; they can only be transmitted through the mind. At that moment, everyone focused their attention and watched intently, afraid of missing even the slightest detail.

Seeing that Jiang Wang only understood the principles of the pre-heavenly realm but neglected the changes of the post-heavenly realm, Lady Pingxin stepped on the Bagua and composed a song: "In the sphere of chaos, one breath swirls, the two polarities and three powers change completely, the pre-heavenly Bagua and the five elements are born, the great evolution changes and the golden lotus emerges."

At this moment, Jiang Wang felt as if he had transformed into the fleeing One, separating the Yin and Yang energies in the chaos. He felt endless power surging from all directions into his body, and endless power flowing out of his body. Only the Primordial Purple Qi that he himself had transformed into wandered in the endless chaos without end.

He tested the law with his own body. Although it was far less dangerous than Pangu's creation of the world, he was still the second person after countless eons to attempt the same thing. Although the difference in strength and difficulty was like heaven and earth, and the method of differentiating Yin and Yang was transformed from Pangu's Hunyuan Taiyi Dao into his Xiantian Wuji Hongmeng Dao, one real and one illusory, but the principle was the same.

It was only because the power of the Ancestral Dragon's inner core, which condensed the energy of Heaven, Earth, and Man, was too strong that he was able to "split" the chaotic energy in front of him into the two energies of Xuanhuang Yin and Yang. However, the chaos surging from all directions enveloped the two energies of Xuanhuang and quickly submerged them. In the end, only the circle around him was somewhat differentiated, while the rest returned to its original state.

This groundbreaking feat is truly inhuman!
Jiang Wangcai felt a sense of humiliation rising in his heart. Suddenly, he heard the singing of the Goddess Pingxin in his ears and realized that he had only separated Yin and Yang and was still using brute force. His power was limited and he had not developed any great transformation path from beginning to end. The three words "One Qi Cyclone" were like a guiding light, illuminating his path to opening the elixir and splitting the pearl.

His path changed from straight to curved, circling in endless chaos. Inside the circle was the purest and most spiritual Xuan Tian Qing Ling Qi, and outside the circle was the thick and simple Da Di Wu Tu Qi. As soon as the two were released, they gave rise to the Four Symbols, Eight Trigrams, Three Powers and Five Elements, recreating the creation of heaven and earth in the Ancestral Dragon's inner elixir.

At the same time, wisps of innate Wutu true qi also emerged from the endless chaos, merging with the Wutu true qi he had derived, and immediately gained inexhaustible power. Most of the chaotic true qi in his inner core was integrated into the "Heaven-Opening Axe" formed by his Hongmeng Purple Qi, while a small portion was sent into the Golden Lotus through the Wutu true qi that entered through the Lady Pingxin.

In an instant, the Yin-Yang symbol appeared in the pearl, and an endless vortex surged outward from the inside into the chaotic aura, reaching the boundary of chaos in the blink of an eye.

At this moment, Emperor Huangtian and the others saw Yin and Yang energies emerge from the lotus, which in the blink of an eye transformed into the Five Elements and Eight Trigrams. The yellow-orange lotus also radiated golden light, transforming into a golden lotus, which emitted countless unique and inexhaustible energies. The One Yuan, Two Forms, Three Powers, Four Symbols, Five Elements, Six Harmonies, Seven Stars, and Eight Trigrams were all present, endlessly generating life, and in the blink of an eye, they transformed into the number of the Great Zhou Heaven.

Wave!
With a soft tremor, the golden lotus slowly opened, leaving only a pearl the size of a mung bean in the center. It shot out thousands of strands of innate true energy, which merged with the golden lotus petals that enveloped it. The petals scattered like flowers scattered by a celestial maiden, falling onto the white dragon's body, which was slowly revealing its true form. They transformed into three hundred and sixty-five golden scales, shimmering and shining.

With a flash of purple energy, Jiang Wang reappeared, now possessing an aura unlike any he had ever seen before. It was as if he had existed there from the past to the future without ever moving, or as if he had never appeared from ancient times to the present, and the image before him was not even a phantom.

But hidden within the endless, ethereal void lies a profound and imposing aura, utterly real and beyond question.

These distinct Daoist principles, combined together, have created the Great Evolution True Lord at this very moment.

The golden dragon on the ground suddenly opened its eyes, a chaotic and boundless aura emanating from the swirling purple mist. Before it could even see what was happening, it hurriedly prostrated itself on the ground and declined, "Your Majesty..."

Before she could finish speaking, Lady Pingxin flicked her finger, and the simple, unadorned pearl, the size of a mung bean, shot into the golden dragon's mouth, transforming into a chaotic aura that permeated its entire body and vanished in the blink of an eye.

Empress Pingxin gently reached out and pulled her aside, beginning to scold her, "Remember next time, just call me 'Mother,' not 'Your Majesty,' understand?"

The golden dragon transformed back into human form, its skin now radiating auspicious light. Otherwise, it was no different from before. Upon hearing this, it immediately knelt down, nodded vigorously, and tears of joy dripped onto the ground.

Everyone in the room was completely bewildered.

Despite the abundance of spiritual energy and the presence of peerless elixirs gathered around her, her cultivation level did not increase in the slightest!
If the Desolate Emperor and the others hadn't seen it with their own eyes, they simply wouldn't have believed it.

He spoke again, displaying a quick and eager-to-learn attitude.

"Your Majesty, we are puzzled as to why your daughter has not changed much. We beg Your Majesty to enlighten us once again."

Empress Pingxin was clearly very pleased with the phrase "your daughter," and with a smile on her face, she pointed at her subordinates who were completely devoted to her.

"Relying on external forces to improve cultivation is always counterproductive, seemingly loving but actually harming. Therefore, I used a clever method to embed the primordial energy of heaven and earth from that inner core into her future. Only when she herself reaches that realm can she integrate a small amount and obtain this opportunity. But with the help of external forces, her cultivation will naturally be much easier." He then turned to Jiang Wang and said solemnly, "The ancestral dragon's inner core has brought you and your disciple together. It can be described as a fortuitous encounter. I urge Fellow Daoist Jiang to consider my feelings and settle this grudge involving heaven, earth, humanity, and the future Great Calamity of No Heaven, lest other changes occur, which would be a loss."

Jiang Wang also felt a bitter taste in his mouth. He knew that the gift of the inner core to Ao Yuwei by Consort Pingxin was just a pretense. He had absorbed most of the power of the Three Talents Chaos Pearl and only gave the aura from the Dragon Clan to his disciple. The two of them split the profits 30/70, with him taking the lion's share. Of course, he had to accept this favor from the Ancestral Dragon.

If I have grasped the secrets of the Primordial Purple Qi, created something from nothing and entered the Limitless Realm, thus completing the last missing link of the Great Dao, then the gift of this Dragon Pearl from the Goddess Pingxin is actually a reward from heaven and earth, solidifying what I lacked through the transformation of Yin and Yang in the acquired world.

Humans fill the gaps in the universe, and the universe fills the gaps in human beings.

This encounter itself represents a shift in the positioning of the three elements, a combination of fate and human effort.

A realization dawned on him: to advance to the Saint realm, he needed to possess the power of Taiyi, Hunyuan, and Daluo simultaneously to achieve the unity of the three elements. In other words, advancing to the Hunyuan Golden Immortal realm was too easy, and his foundation was ethereal and illusory, which is why he needed the other two Golden Immortal paths to make up for his deficiencies.

His path to opportunity still needs to be arranged.

Faced with the request of Consort Pingxin, Jiang Wang naturally obeyed. He solemnly promised the consort, "Your Majesty, rest assured, my grudges with the Ancestral Dragon are now wiped clean. Moreover, the destiny of the Human Sect and the Dragon Clan are one and the same. The future of the Dragon Clan is the future of the Human Clan. Now that the Dragon Clan is weak, the Ancestral Dragon used this inner core to exchange for the prosperity of the Dragon Clan. I have many debts to repay, so naturally I will share this with the Dragon Clan."

The Goddess Pingxin gave him a disapproving look. "The two golden crows asked you to protect the demon race and even gave you the Chaos Bell. This is partly the will of Heaven and partly ill-intentioned. Although you are vigilant and your actions are selfless, if you migrate the demon race to other realms, you will be killing one family to save another. Do you have a solution that satisfies both sides?"

Originally there wasn't, but now there is. The demon race, like the witch race, is unruly and unyielding. Even the kind-hearted demons will go astray due to the various tribulations they must face on their path of cultivation. At that time, they will also bear the consequences as the culprits. The best way is to place all kind-hearted demons in the cycle of reincarnation.

Only the ancestral witches led by the goddess had the means to subdue the demon race.

"Your Majesty, the only way to achieve both goals is for Your Majesty to take action. Only when those benevolent demons are within the Six Paths of Reincarnation can the safety of beings in other realms be guaranteed. Otherwise, without strong suppression, once the benevolent demons reproduce, their offspring will inevitably produce many gifted and inherently good individuals. At that time, without the judgment of the underworld, they will become a scourge to all realms."

Lady Pingxin laughed loudly, "You're blaming me for your problems. I can only reluctantly look after you because you're my daughter's teacher. But now that the Ten Kings of Hell and the Lord of the Underworld are vacant, you'd better choose two people for me to rule Hell and serve as the Fifth King of Hell."

Jiang Wang almost turned around and left. He wasn't the god of the underworld, yet he was being asked to take on this hot potato for the goddess. The position of the Fifth King of Hell was one thing, but the position of Lord of Hell was clearly something the goddess wanted him to do, to stand in front of Mount Ling and the Heavenly Court, to first wash away the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha, and continue chanting sutras and doing things that offended people.

But he was already involved and couldn't escape it, so he had no choice but to bargain to reduce the blame.

“Your Majesty, I have already chosen someone as the Lord of Hell, but I don’t have a suitable reason to persuade the gods of the underworld. However, I must try my best. As for the Five Kings of Hell, I have thought about it and I really can’t find a suitable candidate.”

Seeing his troubled expression, Consort Pingxin did not shirk her responsibility, which showed her courage and willingness to take responsibility. She then suddenly asked an unrelated question.

"Great Evolution True Lord, do you know your past life?"

Upon hearing this, Jiang Wang was immediately put in a difficult position. He was no longer the original Jiang Wang. Others might not know this, but how could the sages not know? Even the Goddess Pingxin, who was in charge of the dark history of all living beings in the Three Realms, would not continue to treat him as the original Jiang Wang just because he was a transmigrator. Moreover, these words were double-entendre, asking about both the present and the past.

He could only shake his head and tell the truth, "My past life was a complete mess. I have tried to deduce it several times but to no avail. Please enlighten me, Your Majesty."

Lady Pingxin looked at him irritably, "Do you think it's so easy to join the Human Sect? It's a single lineage passed down for two generations, and suddenly they just randomly choose you as their disciple? Your past life was a chaotic mess, and there's a reason for that. I have an item from your past life here. You'll know the reason as soon as you see it, and it will also allow you to speak up and recommend the Lord of the Underworld."

After the empress finished speaking, she waved her hand slightly, and a rotten wooden whip appeared before him.

Jiang Wang's eyes narrowed as he saw that the object was three feet six and a half inches long and had twenty-one wooden joints. Although the whip had long since become rotten wood, each joint was engraved with four talismans, which shone with divine light, showing that although the whip was decayed, it still retained its Daoist charm.

Even if Jiang Wang were stupid, he would recognize the whip at a glance. Wasn't this the famous God-Slaying Whip?
Could he be the reincarnation of Jiang Ziya?

Was I a big shot in my past life?
This sudden revelation of past life karma was like a mountain falling from the sky, leaving him completely bewildered and at a loss, truly turning him into a wooden statue.

Seeing that her teacher was completely stunned upon seeing the wooden stick, Ao Yuwei was also very curious and asked in a low voice, "Mother... what exactly is this treasure? It seems to be incredibly powerful, so how come it's so damaged yet its Daoist charm remains intact?"

The Goddess Pingxin gently stroked her daughter's hair and smiled slightly. "This item was originally intended for temporary use. Once its owner has enjoyed all the riches of the mortal world and entered the cycle of reincarnation, this treasure will naturally vanish. Only the eighty-four innate talismans left behind by the Primordial Celestial Venerable will remain. Fellow Daoist Jiang, now that the item has been returned to its rightful owner, you don't need to use your Dao-proving treasure to reclaim the talismans bestowed upon you by the Celestial Venerable!"

Jiang Wangcai snapped out of his shock and quickly took out the Great Evolution Heavenly Book. He gently flicked it at the wooden whip, and eighty-four talismans fell into the book, arranged in a pattern resembling the Tai Chi Bagua.

At this moment, he was filled with emotion. It turned out that he, Jiang Wang, was not an unknown figure. In his previous life, he was the only protagonist in the Investiture of the Gods who, as a mortal, was granted the titles of all the gods. Therefore, his possession of the Jade Disc of Creation, becoming a disciple of Laozi, and all other opportunities and causes all became perfectly logical. (End of this chapter)
