Chapter 330: Love Until Death

"Okay, Dad, I'm trying to talk."

Raven possessed Persephone's body and had some difficulty speaking.

As a baby, she has not yet fully mastered the skill of speaking.

"word."

Raven blinked and spoke one word to Peter.

"She's having a hard time."

"No, not she, that's 'it, misspelled."

Peter stroked Persephone's golden hair, "It seems that you still need to practice before you can fully master the speaking skills. But now, Raven, you should get off Persephone."

"me."

Raven used Persephone's body and stammered to him, "Can I marry you, Dad?"

"marry?"

Peter was stunned for a moment, looking at the Queen of the Underworld in front of him.

The Queen of the Underworld's eyes shot out the same expectant look as Riven.

Peter was silent for a moment and explained to her: "No, you are still young, Raven, you don't understand what marriage is yet."

"What is it?"

Riven blinked her curious eyes and continued to ask him.

"Marriage is a contract of mutual responsibility. There is ethics in this contract and it cannot be torn up just because one side dislikes the other. You cannot let your emotions get the better of you. Right now, you still don't understand what this contract means to you."

"Well, get out of Persephone's body now."

Peter said, patting her shoulder.

"Oh, yes, Dad."

Raven nodded obediently and reached out to give Peter one last hug.

And he put his face close to Peter's and expressed his affection, "I love you, Dad."

"Daddy loves you too."

Peter gave Raven a hug and said to her.

The next second, Persephone, who was possessed by Raven's soul, suddenly stopped moving in Peter's arms.

Peter looked down and saw the Queen of Hell, who looked embarrassed and at a loss as to what to do.

"Feel sorry."

Peter coughed, let go of the other person and pretended nothing had happened.

"I'm sorry, Persephone, but Raven's spirit just took over your body."

Peter apologized.

"It's okay."

Persephone blushed slightly, and said to Peter in a somewhat bewildered manner: "I agree with what Raven did. I can feel Raven's soul and emotions in my body, and we can communicate with each other."

"That is to say, it is because of your consent that Raven can do this inside you. If you don't agree, it will be difficult for Raven to control your body, right?"

"Yes."

Persephone nodded, "I like Raven, and I'm sure she won't hurt me."

"Ah."

Listening to the Queen's words, Peter stroked his beard and fell into deep thought.

It seems that Riven has some talent as a "succubus". Basically, women, especially older women, will be captivated by her charm when they see her.

Turning his thoughts to the present, Peter said to her: "Hades has been imprisoned. Now you are free. If you want to leave, you can leave at any time."

"Thank you, Mr. Padraic."

Persephone thanked Peter gratefully.

She was full of gratitude to McBee and Raven for rescuing her from the underworld, and she also had great respect for Peter, Raven's father.

"Can I stay here for a while? Until I find my mother?"

Persephone asked Peter cautiously.

"of course can."

Peter thought that this goddess was the goddess of seeds in legend, corresponding to the seeds of grains commonly used in ancient Greece.

He wanted to ask if the other party was good at sowing and had a lot of experience in planting and cultivating crops.

But I thought it might be a bit presumptuous to ask directly.

So he swallowed the questions he wanted to ask and planned to ask Riven when he had time.

at the same time.

Clark is at the Talon Club.

He hadn't seen Lana for a long time and wanted to come over and chat with her.

"Hey, Clark."

Lana comes over to greet him.

Looking at Lana in her skirt, Clark asked in surprise, "Aren't you working as a waitress today, Lana?"

"Um, the Talon Club is holding a party tonight. It's a charity party. There will be a lot of people attending. Are you interested, Clark?"

"Party?"

Clark was stunned.

"Yes, a charity party."

Although he wasn't too interested in parties, Clark forced himself to be interested as long as Lana attended, even if he had no interest, "I like charity parties."

"Then I'll wait for you tonight."

Lana smiled at Clark. Then she suddenly seemed to remember something and asked Clark, "I went to Padrick's farm yesterday, but Uncle Padrick wasn't there, and neither were you. Did something happen? Or did you guys go on a trip together?"

She went to the farm last night, but was disappointed because Peter took everyone to the underworld.

"Uh yeah, we went to a far place."

Clark explained to her guiltily.

"how far?"

Clark thought for a moment and said, "As far as Orpheus went."

"Orpheus?"

Lana was slightly startled when she heard Clark say the unfamiliar name.

"You mean Orpheus from Greek mythology?"

Lana was also quite knowledgeable about Greek mythology, and she had naturally heard the story of Orpheus and Eurydice.

In Greek mythology, Orpheus was an excellent musician and poet, known as one of the best musicians in the world.

Unfortunately, one day his wife Eurydice was bitten to death by a snake. He was extremely sad and decided to go to the underworld to retrieve her soul.

He used his musical talent to awaken the gate to the underworld and successfully entered that dark world.

In the underworld, he moved Hades, the god of the underworld, and Persephone, the goddess, with his musical talent.

They agreed to let Eurydice return to the human world, but put forward a condition: when Orpheus left the underworld, he must never look back, otherwise the soul of his wife Eurydice would be away from him forever.

When Orpheus was only one step away from the underworld, his heart was filled with anxiety and uneasiness.

He began to wonder if his wife was right behind him, so he couldn't help but look back, but because of that moment, his lover left him and they would never be able to meet again.

Lana recalled the story of Orpheus in her mind and said to Clark, "I just happened to see a musical about their story recently. The Smallwell Auditorium performed a musical about this story. Did you see it too, Clark?"

"Uh"

Clark originally wanted to hint to the other party that it was the underworld, but he didn't expect Lana to associate it with a musical.

After a moment's pause, he nodded and said to Lana, "Yes, I saw it."

Clark thought to himself, I also saw Hades, and Persephone is still in the Godfather's farm.

If you are interested, the Godfather can let the Queen of the Underworld tell you this tragic love story in person.

Maybe she can even show you how she did it herself.

At night, Talon Club.

Clark came to the party held by the club as promised.

Lana wore a black long dress and put on a little light makeup, which made her look even more bright and charming.

After talking to Clark for a while, Lana saw her aunt coming and went to say hello.

After talking to Aunt Neil, Lana suddenly saw a woman fiddling with accessories at the entrance of the club, seemingly selling something.

"Girl, are you longing for love? Maybe you can have some panacea."

"A miracle cure?"

Hearing this, Lana stopped.

"Yes, the prescription medicine for love can make you experience a love that lasts till death."

Lana shrugged her shoulders and said to her, "I just watched the musical Love Until Death a few days ago, and now I am a little mentally exhausted."

As she was about to leave, the woman pulled out a beautifully wrapped box from her bag and handed it to her.

"This is a mixture of jasmine and several deadly perfumes. I extracted the bright color from a red meteorite. Unfortunately, I have only seen one piece of this red meteorite. You can try it and see the effect, girl. You will definitely not be disappointed."

Lana took it from the other person curiously, looked at the red lipstick in front of her, and asked doubtfully: "Does it really work?"

"I've tried it, and it usually works. It can make you fall in love with the first man you see, provided, of course, that you put on lipstick."

Lana looked at the lipstick in her hand and said nothing.

Although she didn't really believe what women said, "Put on lipstick and make her fall in love with the first man she sees," but looking at the shape of the lipstick and the smell it exuded, she felt that she could buy it.

"Okay, I'll take it."

Lana picked up the lipstick and said to the woman.

"It's a wise move. You will find a man who loves you and whom you love, and you will have a wonderful love."

The woman took the bill from Lana and said to her with a smile.

Putting the lipstick in her pocket, Lana turned around and saw Clark standing in front of her.

She was so startled that she almost made a sound.

"Are you okay, Lana?"

Clark noticed Lana's strange behavior and asked her confusedly.

"I'm fine."

Lana coughed and patted her chest guiltily.

"Can I buy you a drink?"

Seeing that Lana was fine, Clark invited her to have a drink with him.

"We can't drink, Clark."

"I know, I mean, we could try a fruit punch."

Clark was intimidated by his parents and Peter's power and did not dare to try alcohol, so he had to invite Lana to drink fruit juice.

"of course can."

Lana happened to have something to ask Clark, so she readily agreed.

Lana cares a lot about the black women who appear on Padrick's farm.

She always wondered if Peter knew any magic.

Otherwise, how could he suddenly create so many people on the farm for no reason?
First it was Riven, then the black woman, what’s next?
