Chapter 47: The Unyielding Clark
The next day, early in the morning.

Peter received a call from the school on the farm.

"Dad, what's wrong?"

After Peter hung up the phone, Zu rubbed his eyes and asked curiously.

Last night's special flight training left him feeling a little depressed.

"The school bus had an accident and the car cooler fell off, so you won't be able to take the bus to school for the next few days."

A-Zu nodded, "Well, actually I don't need to take the school bus. I can run faster than the school bus."

"Running to school is a good form of exercise, but next time."

Peter put the toast on the plate in front of Zu and wiggled his eyebrows, "You can't just fly while running, John."

"I know, Dad."

A-Zu picked up the toast with a bitter face.

Last night's special training ended in failure as he never found the feeling of flying.

This made him begin to doubt whether he would never be able to fly again.

"Dad, there was a school bus accident. Is anyone injured?"

A-Zu suppressed his worries and asked about the school bus accident.

"should not."

"That's a bit of a pity."

Peter: "?"

He wondered if this kid was just being naughty. How could he say such an incorrect thing?
Seeing Peter's unfriendly look, Zu's heart skipped a beat and he quickly explained, "I mean, Dad, Ms. Rachel must feel sorry for her. She has always longed for a normal patient."

"Who's Rachel?"

"Rachel is the doctor in the infirmary. She said there are only two types of abnormal patients in the school infirmary."

A-Zu told Peter about Dr. Rachel's complaints that he overheard with his super hearing.

Peter asked with interest: "Uh-huh, which two?"

"One is the players who want to play with bruises and ulcers and whatever, and they just don't want to sit on the bench, no matter how much it will jeopardize their careers later on."

A-Zu took a bite of bread and continued, "The other type is girls with various 'intractable diseases'. They come very frequently before various exams. Before the end of the semester, they will say that they have otitis media or pneumonia. Bronchitis is the last resort."

"The teachers who administer the exams are very cunning. When they get sick, they can take an easier make-up exam. Students usually get sicker if they know the exams will be objective questions rather than essays."

A-Zu had never been sick before, so he didn't understand the relationship between illness and exams.

He asked Peter curiously, "Dad, can I really avoid the exam by being sick?"

Peter fell silent after hearing this.

Is this trick also so popular in the United States?

Shaking his head, he decided to nip A-Zu's dangerous thoughts in the bud.

"No, it would be shameful to do it by such dishonest means, John."

A-Zu nodded to show that he understood.

He said in a serious tone: "If I encounter an exam that I don't know, Dad, my eyes can see other people's answers, so I won't pretend to be sick."

Peter: “?!”

He glanced at A-Zu's butt, which looked like it deserved a spanking. It seemed that the other party had done this kind of thing many times.

Your cheating behavior is even more shameful than those who pretend to be sick!

After being spanked a few times by Peter, A-Zu made a bitter face and prepared to drive the cows into the fence.

"Come on, cows, let's go."

He drove the cow in front, but to his surprise, the cow ignored him completely.

"Get to the pen, cows, hurry up, it's time to go!"

He patted the cow's butt, but it still didn't move.

Helpless A-Zu pinched his waist, not knowing what to do.

Maybe a little superpowers might help.

A-Zu suddenly came up with an idea.

He walked over to the cow and held it in his arms.

"Moo!"

The cow was eating grass when it suddenly lost its balance and was lifted into the air.

A-Zu held the cow and walked out of the barn.

"Boom! Boom!"

Heavy footsteps stepped on the ground.

Just when A-Zu was feeling proud of his own cleverness, he didn't expect the cow's milk to spray directly onto his face.

Suddenly attacked, A-Zu was stunned.

Subconsciously, he stuck out his tongue and licked the milk on his face. Surprise, disbelief and a hint of excitement appeared on his face.

"John?"

Hearing Peter's voice, A Zu immediately came back to his senses, quickly put the cow on the ground and pretended nothing had happened.

After Peter came out, he looked at the milk on Azu's face and then looked at the cow on the ground.

Looking at the other's face with suspicion, Peter asked him, "Are you okay, John?"

Could this naughty kid have done something perverted?

Why does the scene before my eyes seem strangely familiar?
"I'm fine, Dad."

A-Zu looked at Peter anxiously.

"Uh-huh, you should go to school."

"It's fine, Dad."

As soon as Azuru was pardoned, he fled the farm as fast as he could.

Peter watched Zu's back as he left and fell into deep thought.

It seems that I can’t let this kid do any work related to cows anymore.

Smallwell Elementary School.

Zu and Clark put their bags in their lockers.

"Azu, have you heard about the alien spacecraft?"

"No, I'm not interested."

A Zu shook his head. What he cared more about now was how to fly.

"They say the blurry shadows falling from the sky are extraterrestrial beings."

Clark was obviously interested in this kind of science fiction story. "Someone in the class is planning to set up a science club to explore and investigate this kind of thing."

"Also, recently someone in the town said that they had lost their poultry or livestock."

Clark turned around and said excitedly, "Maybe there really are aliens in this world. John, didn't the Science Exploration program say that many cases of cattle slaughter were related to aliens?"

A-Zu, who was a little annoyed by what he said, slammed the door of the cabinet, turned around and said to Clark: "There are no aliens in this world. Compared to the existence of aliens, I would rather believe that vampires exist."

A-Zu scoffed at Clark's "alien theory".

He loves watching horror movies and believes in vampires more than aliens.

Clark looked at Zu as he left and let out a frustrated breath.

It seems that I can’t bring A-Zu along to investigate aliens.

in the afternoon.

After school.

Clark stayed at school a little longer because he was curious about the science club.

By the time I left school, A-Zu had already left.

"Well, there's no school bus so I can run home with peace of mind."

Clark muttered as he walked forward.

After walking a few steps, I heard a noise coming from a nearby parking lot.

He took two steps forward curiously and found that it was senior students who were bullying a classmate who was wearing a baseball cap.

Clark remembered that his name seemed to be Adrian.

The tall and strong senior student punched Adrian in the face.

With a bang, Adrian hit the wall behind him.

He wailed, covered his mouth with his hands, and blood gushed out from between his fingers.

Another senior kicked him in the stomach with a shoe, sending him back a step.

Seeing this, Clark couldn't help but come out to stop a few people, "Hey, stop it!"

The three senior students turned around and looked at Clark who suddenly appeared, and then looked at each other.

"Who the hell are you? An accomplice of this damn glass?"

"I'm his classmate."

Clark walked over and bravely protected Adrian behind him, glaring at them angrily.

"My name is Clark Patrick Kent."

"I don't know you, little brat, but if you don't want to end up like him, stay away."

The tall and strong student in the lead, wearing two large rings on his hands, threatened Clark.

"No!"

Clark said in a firm tone: "You can't hurt him!"
