Knight and Wand

Chapter 15: Ghost Knight vs. Demon Host

Chapter 15: Ghost Knight vs. Demon Host
(Gulorelite) "The soul that cannot rest is not the shadow of this world or the other side."

Faced with the two evil gods, the corpse ghost and "Lohak" rushing towards him from the left and right, Leon chanted the spell quickly in panic, and his tone, which was difficult to keep calm, became more and more rapid.

The range of the magic circle was still too small. The diameter of only ten meters was crossed in just a few seconds. The first to rush over were the tall and burly undead.

Leon did not dodge, because in front of him was another trap that had been dug in advance.

The Ghoul Knight stepped heavily on the thin camouflage rattan net and immediately fell into it, his armor clanging loudly. In the not-so-deep trap, only half of his upper body was left lying at the entrance.

Seeing the burly Undead Knight in front of him slip and fall into the pit, Leon didn't have time to relax. His heavily armored body had just sunk down when he suddenly saw a black shadow with a whistling sound behind him. It quickly enlarged in his field of vision and came through the air.

what! ?

He had no time to react and dodge, and although he turned his head away in a hurry, the flying object still hit Leon's shoulder with great speed. The terrible inertia caused him to scream in pain, lose balance and fall on his back.

The moment he fell to the ground, he felt his right shoulder was hit by a shot put, and it was so painful that cold sweat broke out on his forehead. Only then did Leon see clearly what was rolling beside him.

What hit him was the zombie head that Lohak was holding earlier.

This is not the point. The point is that the spell he was almost finishing was interrupted!
Realizing that something was wrong, Leon performed the donkey rolling stunt and turned to the outside. He quickly rolled over twice before using his clever strength to stand up again. When he looked up, "Lohak" who was chasing him with a sword was already within reach.

In panic, they could only retreat again and again. Fortunately, the "Lohak" who was slashing at them with a sword was suddenly tripped by something under his feet and fell to the ground without preparedness.

Leon, who had saved his life, seized the opportunity and spread his legs, ran away from the fallen "Lohak", and quickly fled to the other side of the magic circle.

The spell to activate the Spirit-Repelling Rune must be recited again quickly, otherwise all will be lost.

When he ran back to the magic circle, he glanced sideways and realized that it was the Ghost Knight who fell into the trap and grabbed Lohak's ankle.

The undead trapped in the pit grabbed the boy's ankle for leverage. It supported the hole with one hand and stomped on the earth wall with its feet. The boy outside the hole was forced to be dragged backwards by this force. The heavy body of the corpse knight suddenly jumped high up with his armor on.

The corpse ghost jumped out of the cave and fell back to the ground with a thud. The moment it stood firm, it swung its sword at the "Lohak" who was lying on the ground in front of it.

To the frantic dead souls, even the "demon host" is still a living being with flesh and blood.

——Zheng!

There was a loud bang from the golden sound as the two swords collided.

The burly Ghoul Knight's powerful sword was so powerful that not only was "Lohak", who was corrupted by the Angry Demon, able to block it with his backhand, but "Lohak", with his inhuman strength, even pushed the Ghoul's sword aside in his rage, exposing his center.

"Lohak" instinctively turned his sword and stabbed the corpse in the chest.

clang--! ! !
The sword blade hit the knight's breastplate, and the tip of the sword shattered under the heavy weight, but it still made the undead knight stagger, and the corpse ghost took several steps back before he could keep his balance.

The terrifying force not only left a dent on the thick armor like a hammer, but also caused Lohak's right wrist to be bent into a horrible twist by the reaction force.

"Lohak" with bloodshot eyes was extremely angry. His twisted right hand that was tightly grasping the hilt of the sword suddenly made a crackling sound in the blink of an eye, and returned to its original state under the power of blasphemy. He climbed up from the ground, and his staggering posture was like that of a monster.

“.——hiss.——hiss——” Saliva mixed with blood dripped from the fangs of “Lohak” that had turned into inhuman fangs at some point in time. A hoarse roar came from his gradually twisted throat: “Die!——All of you die!!!”

The young man charged forward, waving the sword full of gaps and black blood, stirring up a bloody wind, and suddenly pounced in the direction of hatred. In his lost bloodshot eyes, there were no zombies or undead spirits in front of him, but only the hateful faces of the Kantadar thugs.

The undead, not knowing what fear is, took a stance, following the sword-fighting instinct that had long been integrated into its body's reactions, and raised the gorgeous sword in its hand sideways.

Holding the sword in both hands and placing it in front of his dry and hideous face, the Ghost Knight pointed the sword tip towards the boy who was attacking him.

"Lohak" stepped into the knight's sword display range without knowing it. The broken sword in the boy's hand immediately fell towards the corpse ghost, vowing to split the "enemy who killed his parents" in half.

The Ghoul Knight took a swift step back and forward, his entire body turning from the right to the left like lightning, changing the center line to avoid the attack, and thrusting his sword forward.

Bah!
Sparks flew, and there was a teeth-grinding sound of metal friction. It was "Lohak" who frantically retracted his sword and barely blocked the fierce attack of the Ghost Knight with both offensive and defensive capabilities.

But this momentary confrontation is not over yet.

If the Ghoul Knight were still alive, he might have already used the sword-entangling technique beautifully and neatly to kill his opponent with his poor swordsmanship in one move.

However, the zombie, with only its body's instincts left, could only follow the rigid basic sword techniques. When the sword path was blocked, it used the cross sword guard to lift the blade of "Lohak" that had not yet exerted force, and rushed into the opponent's close body. The strong sword body deflected with the steps, and the corpse ghost's blade slashed from the left to the boy's neck.

It was just this fleeting opportunity that made "Lohak" move back with his armed sword, kneeling and holding the blade horizontally. The blades intersected, and the friction sound suddenly became louder, and the two swords bit each other tightly.

He managed to block the attack that nearly beheaded him, but the disadvantage of his height and position also made it so that "Lohak"'s sword was suppressed and he could not maintain the defense.

Taking advantage of the fact that his opponent obviously had no chance to stabilize his stance, the Ghoul Knight, relying on his heavily armored body, suddenly raised his sword and his knee. The extremely ferocious knee strike made "Lohak" groan, and his body froze.

But the knee strike was just a prelude, and the Ghost Knight's real heavy slash followed closely -!
A deafening bang!

"Lohak" was knocked to his knees by the huge force, which left horrible cracks on his feet. The boy's feet could not bear the weight and broke.

The falling sword, under the weight of the knight's burly body, destroyed the opponent's clumsy defense with just one blow.

The sword smashed Lohak's blade straight into the boy's own shoulder, and if it weren't for his inhuman strength after being possessed by a demon, this terrible blow would have split the boy diagonally in two.

But the one who took this blow was not a pure "human" after all——

--Roar! ! ! !
"Lohak's" distorted face was almost unrecognizable as a human being in his anger. He continued to endure this suffocating oppression. The devil's roar finally broke through the spiritual curtain and descended into this world from the boy's anger.

Lohak, who let go of the hilt and knelt on the ground with both legs broken, fell into a frenzy. His hands, which were turning into sharp claws, grabbed the knight's greave-wrapped feet and pulled them with inhuman strength.

The knight was caught off guard and was dragged to the ground with a loud bang.

"Lohak" pounced forward like a wild beast, ignoring the pain and pulling out the armed sword that had cut into his shoulder with one hand.

The Ghoul Knight tried to retract the sword with his right hand and fight back, but at this moment he was entangled in a fight on the ground, and the long sword became a hindrance. Before he could hold the blade with his left hand to resist with half-swordsmanship, "Lohak" was one step faster and chopped it with the armed sword in his hand!

The huge force easily cut into the gap between the armor joints on the inside of the knight's right arm. The ferocious young man roared and dragged the sword, pulling off the corpse's right forearm.

The movable connecting parts of the arm armor broke with a snap, and the thrown arm flew away along with the gorgeous knight's sword.

But he happened to use too much force, and when the force of the chop deviated to the left side of "Lohak", the corpse below him attacked with a swift left hook, knocking the boy over heavily.

No matter how strong the young man who was corrupted by the rage demon was, there was still a huge weight difference between him and the burly zombie in heavy armor. The knight, who was equally powerful, knocked Lohak to the ground with a punch.

While the young man was still unable to get up, the Ghost Knight rolled over and skillfully restrained "Lohak"'s body from behind.

He knelt on the boy's back with his left knee, and stepped firmly on his sword-holding right wrist with his heavy right steel boot. The corpse's only remaining left hand grabbed "Lohak's" throat.

As long as the iron gloves are clamped tightly and twisted gently, everything will be over.

As if sensing the joy of devouring fresh life, the ghostly lights in the eyes of the Undead Knight began to frantically dance.
A cold light flashed by swiftly——

Holding the knight's sword that could cut through iron like mud, Azerien swung the sword from behind the corpse!
The knight's head flew off his neck like a ball and rolled to the ground.

The sudden change caused the zombie's body to stop moving instantly.

It didn't die, but the sudden loss of vision and connection with the body still made the undead fall into a brief confusion.

Its left hand reflexively tried to touch its empty neck, trying to pick up its fallen head.

This short gap is enough for the "Lohak" under him to break free from its restraints.

Azerien, who had successfully carried out the sneak attack, did not take any credit for it. He wisely chose to turn around and run away. After all, his partner who was possessed and controlled by the devil obviously would not thank him for saving his life.

"Lohak" threw himself over and knocked over the headless zombie on his body. The angry demon didn't care at all why the zombie knight suddenly lost his head. He just swung his sword in anger.

Without the ability to see, the Undead Knight now even lost the ability to dodge.

It was knocked to the ground by the furious young man, and then one sword! One sword! One sword! Another sword. Under the mad attack of the angry demon, the corpse ghost's body was cut into eight pieces along the gaps in the armor. The severed limbs were oozing black blood, and like a bug with independent consciousness, they crawled around strangely, looking for its head.
The short and fierce fight came to the most dangerous moment in an instant. The anxious Leon took advantage of the moment when the two ferocious beasts were fighting and fortunately finished reciting the last syllable of the activation spell.

The dazzling light in the formation shot up into the sky, and the runes in the magic pattern trajectory rose into the air like projections, forming a circle that seemed to form a three-dimensional barrier.

The young man, who had almost turned into a half-demon, dropped the torn zombie in his hand, and "it" turned back with its bloodshot eyes. The angry demon on the other side of the soul then realized the changes under his feet.

Unfortunately, it's too late.
