Chapter 7268 Not a Match

Chapter 7268 (Seven Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty-Eight) Not a Match

“Yes, I said a few extra words,” said the gray-handed man. “What happened?”

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Don't you feel like you've been cheated?"

"I didn't feel any loss, so what loss?" Gray-Handed Man said. "Why would you connect this with feeling like you've lost out?"

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "You can't contact them? I don't believe it."

“Since you’ve brought it up, of course I can make the connection, but I don’t think I’ve really lost out. Thinking about it is one thing, but whether you actually feel like you’ve lost out after thinking about it is another,” said the Gray-Handed Man. “I’m curious if you think I would feel like I’ve lost out? If so, what’s the reason?”

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "I didn't think you would necessarily feel cheated. I just said it casually to liven things up. I only said it for fun. If you say you feel cheated, I won't think you said it seriously. In my opinion, it's just something you said for fun in this atmosphere. Or you could say you said it to play along with me, and I can give you more specific reasons."

"What more specific reasons?" Grayhand asked.

The brown-handed man said, "He is sparing with words."

"You think I'm a man of few words, so you'll say you feel cheated at this point, just because I said a few more words?" Grayhand asked with a smile.

“Yes,” the brown-handed man laughed. “Of course, it was just a joke. You made it up to liven things up, so I naturally wouldn’t take it seriously.”

The gray-handed man chuckled, "What if I take it seriously? Would that be considered ruining the mood?"

“If I were to take this seriously after you said you felt you were at a disadvantage, I would feel that what I just said didn’t fit the atmosphere,” Brown Hand said.

"But not to the point of ruining the atmosphere?" Grayhand asked.

“Yeah, how can that be considered ruining the mood? It’s not that serious,” the brown-handed man replied. “That’s alright then,” the gray-handed man said.

"What's so good about it?" the brown-handed man said. "Why are you suddenly bringing this up? So what if I think it's ruining the mood?"

Grayhand said, “I was just thinking, thankfully you think that if I had answered with that kind of seriousness, it wouldn’t have been considered ruining the atmosphere. Otherwise, when you asked me, ‘Don’t you feel like you’re losing out?’ my response, ‘No, I don’t feel like I’m losing out, what’s the loss?’ and ‘Why would you associate this with feeling like you’re losing out?’ would have seemed a bit serious, and you might have thought I was ruining the atmosphere.”

The brown-handed man chuckled, "You said it yourself, you only 'appeared' to be serious when you responded to those remarks. You weren't actually that serious when you spoke, were you?"

“It’s true that I wasn’t that serious, but to others, it’s still quite hard to tell the difference between ‘appearing’ serious and being truly serious, right?” Grayhand said.

“It may seem so to others, but who are these ‘others’ you’re referring to?” the brown-handed man asked.

“Anyway, it’s not that person,” said the gray-handed man.

"Besides that person, who else is here?" the brown-handed man asked. "Of course, you yourself are not included."

"You want to hear that word again?" the gray-handed man asked.

“It’s not that I want to hear the word, I just want to hear it come from you, and specifically from me,” the brown-handed man laughed.

“In that case, I’ll just say it directly,” said the gray-handed man.

“Yes, just say it directly,” the brown-handed man quickly replied.

“You,” the gray-handed man said.
