As soon as they stepped out of the Heavenly Palace, they immediately gathered together to discuss: "Should we go home to visit our mother and uncle first, or go find Senior Brother Lin Nan first?"

The two boys, Jinjiao and Yinjiao, can be said to be gifted and born different.

Although they have lived in the fairyland, they are still concerned about their relatives in the lower world, especially their elderly mother, who means a lot to them.

Jinjiao and Yinjiao, one gold and the other silver, secretly conform to the principles of yin and yang, as if they were the darlings of heaven and earth, and therefore they were taken in as boys by Taishang Laojun to serve him.

Now that they have the opportunity to go down to the mortal world, their hearts are naturally filled with anticipation and hesitation.

For them, Senior Brother Lin Nan is the person they are closest to since entering the Tushita Palace. They have many interactions and a deep relationship.

Therefore, when they went to the lower world, they naturally thought of Lin Nan, and the Lin Nan who always laughed and talked with them.

"Why don't we go to Senior Brother Lin Nan first? Last time I heard that he had established a Dao Court, but we haven't been there yet." Jinjiao suggested. Yinjiao nodded in agreement immediately. So, they quickly made a decision to go to Senior Brother Lin Nan first.

At that moment, they flew towards the direction of Chechi Kingdom. Along the way, the scenery was picturesque, with clouds rolling and unrolling, which made them feel particularly relaxed.

……

"Hey, why is there a new mountain here?" Jinjiao said in confusion.

"It must have been Senior Brother Lin Nan who did it." Yinjiao said with certainty, "I heard that in addition to establishing the Dao Court, he also made some big moves. Even Senior Brother Xuandu came to congratulate him."

As they were talking, they had already arrived in front of Jiuji Mountain. Jinjiao and Yinjiao knew the rules, so they landed on the clouds in front of the mountain and walked towards the mountain gate.

"Whoosh!" A dragon roar sounded, and a jade dragon flew out from a deep pool beside the mountain gate, landed on the ground, and transformed into a handsome young man in white clothes, with a heroic appearance. He was the third prince of the Dragon King of the West Sea, Little White Dragon Ao Yu.

Seeing that Jinjiao and Yinjiao had extraordinary temperaments and radiated a pure and spiritual aura, Xiaobailong asked curiously, "Why are you two fairy children here?"

"We are here to find Senior Brother Lin Nan. May I ask where Senior Brother Lin Nan is?" Jin Jiao said directly.

"Senior Brother Lin Nan?" Xiao Bailong was surprised when he heard that. This title is not something that can be called casually. It represents the close relationship between Jinjiao, Yinjiao and Lin Nan.

"The master is in the mountains. May I ask who the two immortal children are...?" the little white dragon Ao Yu asked tentatively.

Since the Jiuji Mountain was formed, there has been a deep pool here, which leads directly to the underground water veins and is also connected to the Tongtian River. The little white dragon Ao Yu lives here and acts as a guardian dragon of the mountain.

"Please tell Senior Brother Lin Nan that Jinjiao and Yinjiao are here to visit." Yinjiao said politely.

"Okay, please wait a moment, two immortal children." The little white dragon Ao Yu immediately entered the mountain gate to report.

However, before he met Lin Nan, he met the six-eared macaque. When the six-eared macaque saw the little white dragon, he smiled and said, "Brother Ao, there is no need to go in to see the master. The master has already predicted that an old friend will visit, and ordered me to come to greet him."

"I see." Little White Dragon nodded and asked curiously, "The two immortal children outside the door call me Senior Brother. Did Master tell me their origins?"

The six-eared macaque smiled and said, "Master already knows and has told me. The identities of those two are not simple. They are alchemy boys in the Tushita Palace of the Supreme Taoist Ancestor, so they call Master 'Senior Brothers'."

“It turns out to be the fairy boy from Tushita Palace!” Little White Dragon suddenly realized, and immediately went to the mountain gate with Six-Eared Macaque to greet him.

Soon, they were out of the mountain gate again, and the six-eared macaque greeted them with a bow, saying, "Yuan Renxin has come here on the orders of our master Lin Nan to welcome the two immortal children."

When Jinjiao and Yinjiao saw the six-eared macaque, they were immediately startled. "Sun Wukong?" Jinjiao exclaimed.

"Naughty monkey?" Yinjiao also said in surprise. They looked at the six-eared macaque, who looked too much like Sun Wukong, almost exactly the same.

"Yuan Renxin? When did Sun Wukong change his name?" Jinjiao asked puzzledly.

"Master? He also took Senior Brother Lin Nan as his master?" Yinjiao was also very surprised, feeling a strange sense of confusion.

"No, I'm not Sun Wukong." The six-eared macaque shook his head. As he shook his head, the difference between his left and right ears became apparent. "I'm the six-eared macaque. I became a disciple of my master and was given the name Yuan Renxin. Now I'm a mountain-guarding disciple of the Jiuji lineage." Speaking of his identity, the six-eared macaque was a little proud.

"So it's not Sun Wukong." Jinjiao and Yinjiao breathed a sigh of relief, but they couldn't hide their curiosity about the six-eared macaque, "Why is it so similar to that naughty monkey?"

The six-eared macaque said, "Maybe our bodies are similar. We are both one of the four mischievous monkeys, so we have some similarities."

As they talked, they walked towards the mountain gate. On the way, Jinjiao and Yinjiao asked many questions curiously, and Liuer Mihou patiently answered them one by one.

Before they knew it, they had arrived at the Zhengfa Hall. Lin Nan had already come out of the hall to greet them, saying with a smile, "Junior brothers Jinjiao and Yinjiao, you are finally here."

"Senior Brother Lin Nan!" When the two boys Jinjiao and Yinjiao saw Lin Nan, they also called him very affectionately.

They entered the hall together, and Lin Nan asked knowingly, "Why did you two junior brothers come to the lower world?"

Jinjiao and Yinjiao looked at each other and said a little embarrassedly: "Now in the Tushita Palace, Kui Mulang from the twenty-eight constellations is taking our place to keep the fire for Laojun. We have nothing else to do, so we will go down to the mortal world to have fun and go home to visit our relatives."

Lin Nan nodded, not surprised, and did not continue to ask. He smiled and said, "Since the two junior brothers are here, you can stay in Chechi Country for a while, even if you stay here."

"It's okay to stay for a while, but we can't stay here." The boy with the golden horn and silver horn shook his head and said, "We still have to go home to visit our mother."

"It's okay to stay for a few days." Lin Nan said with understanding, "Last time, because my senior brother formed a golden elixir and went down to the mortal world, you didn't have the chance to take a good look around Chechi Kingdom. Now, you have the chance." "Go and take a good look. Chechi Kingdom is quite interesting now." Lin Nan laughed, and the atmosphere suddenly became relaxed.

……

The two boys, Jinjiao and Yinjiao, came to the lower world because they were too playful to stay. After staying in Jiuji Mountain for a day, they couldn't help wanting to go out and play.

Seeing this, Lin Nan ordered the six-eared macaque to accompany them and act as a guide. The six-eared macaque gladly accepted the order and asked, "Two fairy children, is there anything you are interested in?"

While asking, Liuer Mihou introduced the situation in Chechi Country to them: "If you want to eat, drink and have fun, the Imperial City has the most abundant things. In addition to the Imperial City, there are many places worth visiting. For example, there are many Taoist temples in Chechi Country, but there are no Buddhist temples now."

"No Buddhist temples? Are there really no Buddhist temples?" Upon hearing this, Jinjiao and Yinjiao were a little surprised.

"That's right." The six-eared macaque nodded affirmatively. "Before that, some Arhat Bodhisattvas from Lingshan built a Buddhist temple in the deserted land of Chechi, wanting to preach. But Master's magical power made all those Arhats turn back, and they were too ashamed to stay in Chechi any longer."

Hearing this, Jinjiao and Yinjiao became very interested: "What's going on? How did they make the Buddhist sect lose face?"

The six-eared macaque smiled and said, "It is a magical power of Master. It can record the images and sounds around and reproduce them later. Master once encountered Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and recorded some things. A few days ago, Master ordered me to go to those temples and play the recorded things, which naturally made Buddhism lose face."

“Huh? Such a magical spell?” Jinjiao and Yinjiao looked at each other with surprise, “It seems that I have heard that Senior Brother Lin Nan once performed it in Lingxiao Palace!”

"That's right." The six-eared macaque nodded and said, "That spell is indeed miraculous. If you two fairy children are interested, I can demonstrate it to you."

"Good nephew, can you let us take a look?" Jinjiao and Yinjiao said with great interest.

"No problem." The six-eared macaque waved his hand and started playing the music for them in front of Jinjiao and Yinjiao.

In the picture, Lin Nan is in a sturdy posture, holding a magic weapon, and fighting a goldfish monster. Although the goldfish monster is extremely ferocious, it seems to be overwhelmed by Lin Nan's attack. In the end, Lin Nan kills the goldfish monster with a special move.

Back in time, it was the time when Tang Sanzang set out on a journey to the West to seek Buddhist scriptures. The location was the prosperous Tang Empire.

After Tang Sanzang went through untold hardships and retrieved the true scriptures from the West, a new discussion arose in the Tang imperial palace. After careful consideration, the Tang emperor and his think tank, a group of loyal ministers, made a major decision: to send an elite team to the distant Chechi Kingdom to carry out a special mission called "seeking the truth."

The "seeking the Tao" here does not mean seeking the truth of Taoism in the ordinary sense, but specifically refers to seeking the legendary agricultural artifact of Chechi State. This artifact is said to have magical powers and can greatly increase the output of farmland. For the Tang Dynasty, which is based on agriculture, it is undoubtedly a great blessing.

However, how could such an important mission be accomplished by sending a few ordinary soldiers? The Tang Empire knew this very well, so they decided to follow the way they searched for Tang Sanzang and look for those Taoists who were well versed in Taoism and had extraordinary abilities.

Two heavyweights of the Imperial Astronomical Bureau, Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng, personally took part in the battle. They traveled around, visiting Taoist masters and hermits, begging them to come out and help. These two masters, who enjoyed a high reputation in the Taoist world, successfully persuaded many of the best in the Taoist world with their prestige and sincerity.

After careful preparation, a team of Taoist elites gradually took shape. The leader of the team was a highly experienced and advanced Qigong practitioner, Yin Xi, who existed before the pre-Qin period. Yin Xi was not only a Qigong practitioner, but also a founder of Taoism. He founded the "Louguan Dao", which is still passed down today.

Yin Xi, a Qigong practitioner from the pre-Qin period, mastered a method called "looking at Qi". According to legend, at the moment when Taishang Laojun appeared in the world, Yin Xi saw purple Qi coming from the east, stretching for 30,000 miles, so he waited quietly at Hangu Pass and finally welcomed the arrival of Taishang Laojun. It was this encounter that made the Taoist classic "Tao Te Ching" passed down to the world.

Yin Xi realized the profound truth of Taoism from the Tao Te Ching, and from then on, he devoted himself to practice, and finally founded the "Louguan Dao" in Zhongnan Mountain. This Taoist sect is centered on the platform where the saints used to preach, and is connected to the thatched building where Yin Xi practiced, hence the name "Louguan Dao". However, despite Yin Xi's profound Taoist practice, he has never been able to cultivate the correct Dharma, and has always been practicing the "Eight Eight Three" method in the world.

This time, Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng personally visited Yin Xi and begged him to come out of seclusion to help. The Emperor of Tang even made a solemn promise that if Yin Xi returned, he would build a stele of the Holy Words and a palace for them to honor their achievements.

However, Yin Xi's decision to leave was not entirely due to this temptation. He heard that there was a "Taoist" recognized by the Taoist ancestor in Chechi Country, and he suddenly felt a strong desire for knowledge and exploration. What's more, the environment in Chechi Country where everyone respects Taoism and advocates Taoism also makes every Taoist yearn for it.

Yin Xi did not go out alone, he also brought several disciples with him. The purpose of their trip was not only to help Datang obtain the divine object, but also to seek the true meaning of Taoism.

In addition to the group from Louguan Taoism, Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng also invited several other influential figures in Taoism.

Among them, there is one who is not a human, but the famous "Demon King of Shu" - Zhang Lie. Zhang Lie is a tiger demon, but his status in Taoism is extraordinary.

Back then, when Zhang Daoling, the founder of heaven, was taught the book on alchemy by Taishang Laojun, Zhang Lie was standing by, watching with eager eyes and trying to snatch it away.

However, he was eventually conquered by Zhang Daoling and became a guardian beast. This is the protagonist of the famous story of "Zhang Daoling Conquers the Tiger" - the tiger demon Zhang Lie.

After that, Zhang Lie followed Zhang Daoling to travel around the world and suppressed countless ghosts and gods. In the process, he swallowed up countless ghosts and gods' power, and under Zhang Daoling's guidance, he practiced the magical power of restraining gods and ghosts.

This magical power is so powerful that even many Taoist masters cannot match it. Therefore, Zhang Lie also earned a resounding title - "The Demon King Who Exorcises Gods".

Zhang Lie joined the Taoism team on behalf of the Tang Dynasty's Zhengyi Dao because he heard about the existence of Lin Nan, a Taoist from Chechi State. He was eager to compete with this Taoist and explore the mysteries of Taoism together.

In addition, there was a highly respected elder in the team seeking the truth - Sun Simiao.

In the folk, Sun Simiao is known as the "King of Medicine". He is not only a doctor with superb medical skills, but also a "Taoist doctor" who is proficient in Taoism. Sun Simiao was born in Taoism and had a special liking for Qihuang medicine, and eventually became a master of this Taoism.

Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng went to great lengths to invite Sun Simiao out of the mountain, not only because of his medical attainments, but also because of his extraordinary achievements in planting. Sun Simiao was originally practicing in seclusion in Zhongnan Mountain, but when he heard about the affairs of Chechi Kingdom and the reputation of Lin Nan Daozi, he was also moved and decided to go down the mountain to join the Tao-seeking team.

After successfully inviting these outstanding Taoists, Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng returned to the palace to report. Later, Li Chunfeng also joined the Taoism team as a representative of the Tang Dynasty. In this way, the group embarked on the journey to the west, following the footsteps of Tang Sanzang's journey to the west.

However, on the way, they unexpectedly met an old Taoist priest riding a white donkey. Li Chunfeng had a unique vision and saw at a glance that this old Taoist priest was extraordinary. He immediately invited the old Taoist priest to join the team of seeking the Tao. The old Taoist priest gladly agreed, and the team added another powerful member.

This old Taoist is called Zhang Guo. (End of this chapter)
