Upon hearing this, the three young Taoists immediately began to explain enthusiastically.

"Do you know? Twenty years ago, we suffered an unprecedented drought. The sky seemed to be blocked by something. Not even a drop of rain fell, and all the crops on the ground withered. Whether it was the emperor and ministers in the palace or ordinary people, every household bathed, changed clothes, burned incense, and prayed to God for rain. Everyone's life was in trouble. Just when everyone was about to despair, four immortals suddenly descended from the sky. They came to save us."

One of the young Taoist priests continued, "The great master Lin Nan led the other three great immortals to pray for rain. Guess what? It is said that when they prayed for rain, the four sea dragon kings and the five thunder generals all came and rained heavily on Chechi Kingdom, which helped us get through the drought."

"Oh?" Sun Wukong raised his eyebrows. This was the first time he heard such inside information. "So they became the four great state masters because of this incident?"

"Yes, that's right." Another young Taoist nodded.

Sun Wukong asked curiously, "Besides the Grand Master, what are the titles of the other three Grand Masters?"

"The second national master is the immortal Huli, the third national master is the immortal Luli, and the fourth national master is the immortal Yangli." The young Taoists answered in detail.

"It turns out that they are all national masters, and the respected teachers of all Taoists in Chechi Kingdom." Sun Wukong said thoughtfully.

"Master? Then do they accept all the Taoists as disciples?" Sun Wukong asked again with some confusion.

The two young Taoists shook their heads, and one of them explained, "No, there is a 'Taoist University' in Chechi State, and we all graduated from that university. The Grand Master is the honorary president, and the other three Masters are 'professors', so they are also our respected teachers."

"Oh, so that's how it is." Sun Wukong nodded, but he had more and more questions in his mind. To him, the words "university" and "president" were new and unfamiliar. However, he did not ask all the questions at once, but picked the question that interested him the most and continued to ask: "Besides the Grand Master, how powerful are the other three Grand Masters?"

The two young Taoists smiled at each other, and one of them answered, "They have great magical powers. They can call the wind and rain with just a flip of their hands. It is also easy for them to turn water into oil and turn stone into gold. They can even seize the fortune of heaven and earth and change the mysteries of the stars. The emperor and his subjects all respect them."

Another young Taoist priest added: "Yes, their magical powers are indeed unfathomable. As long as they are here, Chechi Kingdom does not have to worry about any natural disasters or man-made disasters."

After hearing these words, Sun Wukong couldn't help but become very interested in the three state masters. "Oh? Are the other three state masters so powerful? I wonder if I can have the honor to meet them?" he asked tentatively.

Upon hearing this, the young Taoists immediately responded enthusiastically: "As long as we are of the same faith, we will have the opportunity to meet. Chechi Kingdom welcomes fellow Taoists from all over the world."

One of the young Taoist priests looked at Sun Wukong and said in a friendly manner: "Master, you can go into the city to rest first. After we finish repairing this section of the road, we will go back and report your situation. There is a place in the city specially provided for fellow Taoists to rest, and it is free."

Sun Wukong bowed and said with a smile: "Thank you very much. However, I have another question to ask. To be honest, I have an uncle who became a monk when he was young. He used to travel around to beg for alms. Later I heard that he went to Chechi Kingdom, but no one knew where he went after that. I wonder if he became a monk in Chechi Kingdom? I wonder if I can find him among those monks now."

The young Taoists immediately understood what Sun Wukong meant. One of them said, "Master, this is easy to handle. The two of us will stay here first, and you can go to the beach to ask the monks. There are about 500 monks there, and see if your uncle is among them. If he is, we will let him go for the sake of our fellow Taoists, and then you can go into the city with us, how about that?"

Sun Wukong was very grateful when he heard this. After thanking the two young Taoist priests, he walked towards a group of monks who were "moving cement".

As soon as Sun Wukong walked into the group of monks, they immediately sensed his unusualness. They were all very cautious, fearing to offend this seemingly powerful Taoist priest. Sun Wukong looked at the monks' expressions and immediately understood their status in Chechi State and how high the status of Taoist priests was.

"It seems that Taoism is really respected over Buddhism here." Sun Wukong muttered to himself, "These monks have become accustomed to it."

Then, Sun Wukong mixed into the group of monks and began to get information. With his eloquent words, he quickly got a lot of information from the monks.

It turned out that these monks couldn't escape even if they wanted to. Because Chechi State now implemented a "identity system", their portraits and files were circulated in various cities of Chechi State. As long as they were still within the scope of Chechi State, they would not be able to escape.

After hearing these words, Sun Wukong could not help but marvel at this "status system". He thought: "Wouldn't this mean that I would never have freedom? I would only be able to do hard labor and move cement forever?"

The monks continued to say that originally there were more than 2,000 monks here, but some died or committed suicide, and now there are only 500 of them. Moreover, these 500 people can hang themselves from the beams and ropes, cut their throats with knives without feeling any pain, throw themselves into the river and float without sinking, and take medicine without getting hurt, as if they were blessed by some divine power.

After hearing these words, Sun Wukong immediately understood that it was the power of the gods or the protection of Buddhism that allowed them to survive. He exclaimed: "You are blessed! Eternal life is granted by heaven!"

The monks complained bitterly, saying that they were tired of carrying cement all day long. Now, cement from all over Chechi Country has to be carried by them. One monk complained bitterly: "Now, we have to carry cement for nine out of the ten roads in Chechi Country! We would rather die than carry cement anymore, but we can't die!"

Another monk chimed in, "Every night in my dreams, the guardian Kāla advises us not to seek death, but to endure the hardship and wait for the great monk from the East, the great Tang dynasty, to go to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures. He has a disciple called the Great Sage Equaling Heaven, who has great magical powers and a loyal heart. He avenges injustices on earth, helps the poor and the needy, and cares for the orphans and widows. We are just waiting for him to show his magical powers and destroy the Taoists."

As they spoke, the monks all sighed and said, "Anyway, we don't want to move this cement anymore."

After hearing these words, Sun Wukong was secretly pleased with himself. He thought that his fame had spread to this place, and that the guardians had predicted his arrival in advance and regarded him as their only hope.

"If that's the case, then I can't let these monks down." Sun Wukong thought to himself, "At the very least, I have to fulfill their wish and stop them from moving cement."

Thinking of this, Sun Wukong was ready to take action. He gently shook the magic bell in his hand, which made a crisp sound. Then he walked towards the two young Taoist priests. When the young Taoist priests saw Sun Wukong coming, they immediately asked, "Master, have you found your uncle?"

Sun Wukong smiled and said, "I found it. Those five hundred monks are all related to me."

"They are all related? How does that make sense?" The two young Taoists thought Sun Wukong was joking.

Sun Wukong said seriously: "One hundred are my neighbors on the left, one hundred are my neighbors on the right, one hundred are my father's friends, one hundred are my mother's relatives, and one hundred are my good friends. What do you think? Aren't we very destined to be together?"

Seeing Sun Wukong's serious look, the smiles on the faces of the two young Taoists gradually disappeared.

They suddenly realized that Sun Wukong was not joking. This realization made Sun Wukong in front of them look even more serious, as if he was coming with bad intentions. One of the young Taoist priests said, "I see, we can't make the decision on this matter. We have to report it to the masters first."

When Sun Wukong heard this, he frowned and asked, "Huh? You can't let him go?" The two little Taoists shook their heads like rattles and said in unison, "No, no, we have to report to the master." Sun Wukong asked three times in a row, and the answers he got were all no.

At this moment, Sun Wukong's anger was completely ignited. A golden light flashed in his ears, and an iron rod was taken out, swelled up in the wind, and in an instant it returned to its original majestic appearance. It was his Ruyi Jingu Bang, and the next moment, it seemed that it was about to be swung out, bringing about a bloody storm.

Sun Wukong swung his golden hoop fiercely, and the stick whistled in the wind as it whistled towards the Taoist's face. It seemed that the Taoist would fall to the ground with blood all over his head, his skin torn and his brains bursting. At this critical moment, a crisp "ding" sound suddenly rang out.

Sun Wukong was startled and looked up, only to see that his golden hoop had landed on a strange stick. This stick looked somewhat familiar. At the same time, a loud shout came: "Thieves, stop committing crimes in Chechi Kingdom!"

Sun Wukong looked in the direction of the stick and saw a figure in a Taoist robe. He was stunned and muttered to himself, "It's you?!" The person in front of him was Liu Er Mihou, the guy who had crossed paths with him on Pingding Mountain.

"Are you from Chechi Kingdom?" Sun Wukong asked in a deep voice. The six-eared macaque raised his head slightly and replied proudly: "I am the eldest disciple of Chechi Kingdom's great master, and my Taoist name is Renxin!"

The next moment, the six-eared macaque shouted, "How dare you, Sun Wukong, attack the Taoist priest in Chechi Country!" As he spoke, he pushed the "Sui Xin Tie Gang Bing" in his hand hard, and immediately pushed Sun Wukong's golden hoop flying out. At the same time, the six-eared macaque flashed and was already in front of the two young Taoist priests.

"It's the Great Protector!" the two young Taoist priests exclaimed in surprise. They naturally recognized the identity of the Six-Eared Macaque. Who in Chechi Country didn't know the famous Six-Eared Macaque?

Liu Er Mihou is not only the only disciple of Grand Master Lin Nan, but also a well-known "projectionist" in Chechi State. Anyone who has watched a projection show will be impressed by Liu Er Mihou.

Sun Wukong held the golden cudgel in his hand, gently twisted it and put it at his side. He was curious and couldn't help asking, "Did you figure out my identity?" Then he laughed at himself and said, "That's right, I just changed randomly."

Before he finished speaking, Sun Wukong's body shook and he had returned to his original appearance. He was in good shape and looked very similar to the six-eared macaque, except that his clothes and ears were slightly different.

Seeing this, the two young Taoist priests could not help but exclaimed in a low voice: "Who is he? Why is he so similar to the Great Protector?" Although they were curious, they did not need to worry about safety issues with the Six-Eared Macaque in front of them. They had a natural trust in the Six-Eared Macaque. After all, he was the only disciple of the Great Master and the Great Protector. He had great magical powers and was well-known.

Even the Great Immortals Tiger Power, Deer Power, and Sheep Power mentioned in their rare lectures that the magical power of the Six-Eared Macaque was not inferior to theirs, and his fighting ability was even higher.

At this time, two young Taoist priests were concentrating on watching the scene in front of them. On the other side, five hundred monks were watching from afar, and one of them suddenly exclaimed: "Isn't that the appearance of the Great Sage in our dreams?"

"It seems exactly the same." Another monk echoed. These five hundred monks have never died in these years, all because of the protection of the guardian dharma, Kāla. The guardian dharma, Kāla, not only often comforts them in their dreams and asks them to hold on to their faith, but also tells them that a "great saint" will come to save them, and they just need to wait patiently.

Now, Sun Wukong transformed into his true form, and when the monks saw him, they realized that he was the "Great Sage" that the gods had mentioned in their dreams. They were extremely excited, as if they had seen the dawn of hope.

Sun Wukong then said, "So, you are the disciple of Lin Nan, the great master of Chechi." The six-eared macaque looked at him coldly and said in a deep voice, "That's right. You, a rascal, actually want to attack the Taoist disciples of my Chechi country just because of a disagreement. You are really bold."

"You naughty monkey?" Sun Wukong waved his golden cudgel and shouted angrily, "Aren't you also a monkey? I am the Great Sage Equaling Heaven, so what if I attacked two prisoners?"

The six-eared macaque was not afraid at all, and sneered: "You, the Great Sage, are nothing but a piece of shit." After that, he changed the subject and asked, "Have you forgotten the promise you made to my master when you were defeated at the back of Wanshou Mountain?"

"When you meet a Taoist, you should be respectful, but you dared to attack him casually this time. You are really a traitor and a person who doesn't keep his word!" The six-eared macaque scolded, and every word was like a knife, piercing Sun Wukong's heart.

However, when Sun Wukong heard this, he was not ashamed, but angry. He swung his golden cudgel and shouted angrily: "What great master? It was just a victory or a defeat, but you actually publicized it. You are not a human being! Not a human being!!"

Sun Wukong was angry at this moment because Lin Nan spread the news. However, he did not feel any remorse at all, and was not aware of his own violation of the promise.

Seeing this, the six-eared macaque understood what was going on. (End of this chapter)
