Chapter 335 Farewell
"This is, ah, this face, I have a slight impression of it, but it's not as good-looking as Professor Black."

After Professor Binns made his evaluation of Professor Nina, he looked at Andrew and made his own evaluation.

'I thank you for thinking highly of me, Professor.'

Andrew didn't want to say anything - he was even inferior to Professor Lockhart, not to mention Sirius, who was currently the most handsome and capable fighter in the school.

"This is Taylor."

Sirius added carefully that he was the person who had communicated with Professor Binns the most in the past year.

"Tyler? Ah, yes, the guy who slept in History of Magic class."

Let's not bring this up now, Professor?

The scene was even a little awkward for a moment, but fortunately a flying head broke the deadlock - following behind it were a bunch of Hogwarts ghosts who were regular visitors and ghosts who occasionally came to visit.

After all, Hogwarts is the cradle of wizards - most of the ghosts have come here to take classes, have been imprinted with traces of magical significance, and can visit after death.

"Professor Binns!"

The ghost who squeezed over didn't even see Professor McGonagall, "Are you being excluded?"

Andrew noticed that the professor's expression was a little stiff - but he wisely chose to ignore it.

"Just going on vacation, are you?"

"I am, by the way, I was a student about three hundred years ago."

The ghost that squeezed over thought for a moment, and then saw Professor McGonagall - Andrew didn't know if it was an illusion, but he felt that its pearl-like luster had weakened a little.

"I was a student from five hundred years ago!"

“…Eight hundred…”

...

Andrew just felt a headache listening to the long list of numbers - he thought he was very wise twenty minutes ago, but the boomerang came too fast.

"I'm just going on vacation for a few years. If I need anything, I'll come visit you. It's a mess."

"I'm sorry, Professor. It's mainly because Hogwarts starts today and we came here to join in the fun..."

"If you have time, why not tell me what strange and important things have happened in recent years?"

...

There was another round of chattering, but this time it was much more orderly, at least the ghosts came one by one.

'Just hearing about these places makes me want to go on adventures...'

For ghosts, strange places are certainly places worth adventuring to go to, but after thinking for a while, Andrew knew that it was completely impossible for him - he had to study!

"There's also the Muggle place, Bermuda - yes, that's it. Wizards have gradually started to go there to deal with the messy magical relics!"

Professor Nina was obviously enjoying what she was hearing, and during the ghosts' brief break she even offered a place that sounded like it might be possible to have an adventure.

But what came in return was silence.

The ghosts looked at each other, then stopped and stared at Nina.

She immediately realized her mistake - ghosts can only go to places they have visited in life because there are magical traces of those places.

As a professor of anti-dark arts, she should have been aware of this - but her last-minute study made her less than proficient.

"sorry."

"It was just an accident. It's okay, ma'am. The living and the dead are never the same. There's no way to solve this problem. It's a problem without an answer - just like you and your friends can't attend each other's funerals."

But, if it's a ghost...

Andrew thought of the answer out of habit, and then understood what the professor meant - when you understand, you are no longer alive. "Well, enough of the secrets of death have been told, and enough people have come. If we don't go to Diagon Alley, I'm afraid it will be dawn soon."

Professor Binns shook his head, as if he didn't care. "I have to go now. I'll write if there's anything. Professor McGonagall - by the way, Mr. Taylor over there, thank you for your preparations."

The old professor waved his hand, "I'll be out and about keeping an eye out, and if there's anything adventurous worth it, I'll invite you over for the summer - isn't that what you Gryffindors love most?"

"That's it, see you next time!"

Professor Binns nodded, and flew out of the room with the bag in his hand, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

The messy ghosts followed and soon disappeared, leaving only the almost headless Nick - he gave Andrew a thumbs up, then waved and said goodbye to Professor McGonagall, then chased after him.

'You Gryffindors?'

Andrew was stunned for a moment - he couldn't help but feel a little ashamed of his slacking in History of Magic.

But not much. The professor even got the college wrong. How could he possibly take all the blame on himself?
"Leave as soon as you say so. That's Professor Binns' temper."

Professor McGonagall shook her head, "Andrew, seal up Professor Binns' room."

"Yes, Professor."

Andrew agreed and began to cast a spell - after sealing it, anyone who wanted to open it would have to go through complicated procedures unless the professor came back himself.

Even Peeves couldn't enter the house guarded by the castle's protective magic - just for this reason, Andrew was sure that Peeves must have some unsolved secrets.

"Let's leave too," Professor McGonagall nodded gently, "We still have classes tomorrow, so we should go to bed early."

After Andrew finished casting the spell inside and came out, Professor McGonagall gently tapped on the door of the room. Under the watchful eyes of two ordinary professors, a dean and a student cast a spell, and the conditions for sealing the magic were met. From today on, this room will be out of use until Professor Binns returns or is expelled.

"Let's go, it's getting late."

Professor McGonagall left first - young professors might not be so obedient, and her pressure was not just on her students.

"call…"

Professor Nina breathed a sigh of relief, "I almost made a serious mistake."

"Professor Binns knows," Andrew shook his head, "It doesn't matter, the newcomer will be forgiven."

"I hope so. Let's go back too."

...

The three people were going back to different places, so after walking a short distance, they separated.

When Andrew climbed the stairs back to the lounge, there was no one at the door of the lounge - there was no doubt that the freshmen had all gone back.

'Start answering the questions.'

He smiled and was about to open the door, but a figure appeared on the other side.

"I've been looking at the stars for quite some time. I'm likely to get first place in astronomy this semester."

Hal's face showed a mixture of curiosity and weariness.

"By the way, I've been hiding outside for at least two hours, Taylor. Just for this, could you give me some information about issues that don't involve your office?"

"You're overthinking it. No."

Andrew shook his head quickly, then fished out a slip of paper from his pocket and read out the answer.

"Come on, I was the first one to open the door in the morning - even if I couldn't figure it out, I would have used an owl to ask someone."

He looked at Hal without any relenting emotion.
