Chapter 374 Miss Granger's Determination

Chapter 374 Miss Granger's Determination
"Excuse me, Professor, I have something to report."

Andrew stood at the door of the classroom and interrupted Professor McGonagall's lecture without waiting for the students who were watching the fun to cast their expectant glances at him.

Professor McGonagall looked at him doubtfully, and probably thought that his expression was not serious enough, so she nodded in relief and walked out of the classroom.

"what happened?"

"Miss Granger," Andrew lowered his voice to make sure the students inside couldn't hear, "she and Professor Trelawney had an argument in class, and then she left the classroom openly with her bag on her back. Professor Trelawney came to the office to report her."

"It's like this every year," Professor McGonagall said with an expression that I knew would happen. "I even told Albus that if he hadn't stopped me, I would have fired her."

This was absolutely true - Professor McGonagall was always serious. Even Professor Snape, who deducted points crazily from Gryffindor, did not receive any public negative comments from her. But Professor Trelawney was different. Every year after the Divination class started, Professor McGonagall would publicly boycott the inaccuracies of the Divination class in class.

There is no way. If a professor's words and deeds are problematic but he is Professor McGonagall's real talent and knowledge, it is still acceptable. But if his words and deeds are not good and his ability is not good, then he is really a pure disaster.

"How do you handle this, Taylor?"

"I have suspended Miss Granger's Divination class at Professor Trelawney's request, but no detention has been arranged. It will be determined later."

"Well, there's no rush for confinement. I'll talk to her first. There's really no need to take that class, but I need to talk to her about the full certificate."

Professor McGonagall nodded, "What is Granger's class?"

"The other class should be Muggle Studies, but it could also be, um, Charms." Andrew's schedule was fairly clear.

"Charms and Muggle Studies, okay," the professor nodded, then hesitated, "Well, you know what we're going to have today, right?"

???

No, professor, what do you mean?
Andrew was stunned for a moment, but Professor McGonagall nodded, indicating that it was what he thought, "Go and try to attend the class. Learning and describing are two different things. You are about to choose your own research direction. You can't be bad at communication."

Who starts communication with something as difficult as giving lectures?

"You definitely can't give them extra points, but if someone is disruptive, you can give them detention."

Professor McGonagall nodded to Andrew, "I'll go talk to Granger, you take charge of this class."

She had confidence in Tyler, and trying a different perspective would also help with psychological adjustment, but the other side had to be dealt with. Tyler was even able to negotiate with the professor and get the detention, but this was the first time Granger had quarreled with the professor.

At worst, Taylor messed up the first class, but his foundation was there, so it couldn't be that bad. He just needed to make up for it later and there would be basically no problem.

It's nothing more than moving next year's preparation plan forward by one year. It's no big deal. With his foundation, he should be more intuitive in facing mistakes.

"Don't feel pressured. Just think of yourself as an older first grader. I'll leave the classroom to you. I'll be back before the end of get out of class."

Professor McGonagall gave Andrew some quick instructions and then turned and left.

If it were a new professor, she would have to help to control the students, but with Taylor, even this step could be omitted.

-

"Did you hear that Granger and Professor Trelawney had a quarrel?"

"Well, it seems that he just left the class with his bag on his back."

In the Muggle Studies class, students were whispering to each other, but the protagonist of the topic was frantically trying to get precious points from the professor as if nothing had happened. "Hey, isn't the first place in Divination vacant?"

"Yeah, I don't know if it will end up in our college - anyway, Muggle Studies is out of the question."

Even in private discussions, Miss Granger is still considered a strong contender for the first place.

The theme of this class is interesting little appliances invented by Muggles. In theory, this should be a very interesting class, but unfortunately, because Hogwarts has no electricity, the little appliances brought by Professor Bubbage can only be looked at, which makes it far less sweet than gossip.

But bigger gossip is coming.

There was a knock on the classroom door and Miss Granger was called out. The whole classroom suddenly became very lively.

-

"Had a row with Professor Trelawney?"

Professor McGonagall looked at the student in front of her, her expression as serious as ever - she was always like this in front of her students.

They are now in an empty classroom and can communicate without being disturbed by others.

"Sorry, Professor."

Even someone as brave as Granger was still a little scared when his dean came to him.

"What do you think?"

"I...I'm sorry, Professor...I," Hermione spoke haltingly, but finally gritted her teeth and said, "I just think I shouldn't waste any more time."

"Shouldn't we waste time?"

"Yes, I can't feel the charm of divination, nor can I get any useful help. I overestimated myself," she seemed to have made up her mind. "I can't complete all twelve certificates, and I don't have enough talent to get first place in every subject. I should spend more time on the subjects that I need or am good at."

"Although I can't get first place in Arithmancy, it's really interesting, and so is Transfiguration. As for Muggle Studies, although I can easily get first place, I don't think I need this course that much." Perhaps she has been thinking about it for a while, she said it without hesitation, "Although I feel a little sorry for Professor Bubbaji, I plan to give up this course after I get enough house points this year."

This very affirmative statement made Professor McGonagall at a loss for what to say to Granger. It was really too despicable for him to abandon the professor and run away after getting the house points. She felt that she should not support it. However, the student who did this was a graduate of her own house, so it was hard to criticize him.

"I plan to regain the first place in Charms. I also don't plan to give up the first place in Magical Creatures. The same goes for History of Magic. I want to continue to get the first place."

Granger looked at her dean expectantly, "As for the rest of the subjects, I don't want to give up either. I'll continue to be number one, Professor."

"That's a bit too greedy, Miss Granger," Professor McGonagall looked at the students of her own house, "Do you know that in this case, your timetable can be adjusted to a normal timetable?"

"Professor, is it really impossible?"

Professor McGonagall was silent for a moment, then finally nodded.

"Okay, but you still have to stay in first place - the Time Turner itself is specially provided for the top-ranked student. If you lose it, you must turn it in immediately."

"I will, Professor."

Hermione nodded frantically - as for the matter of another Time-Turner, she didn't even think about it.
