Chapter 388 Darkness, Enemy

The boys started having fun right away, but the girls, after applying sunscreen, wanted to sunbathe for a while and eat some ice cream before starting to play.

Swimming, playing water fights, knocking watermelons...the most exciting thing is of course beach volleyball.

The best performer among the boys was Natsu, because he only thought about winning when he started the game.

Gray and Rhodes were more or less affected, mainly because at the beginning, they didn't know whether to look at the ball or the ball.

After playing for a while and getting used to it, I slowly got into the state.

"You two are lame! Hahahaha..." Natsu mocked mercilessly.

Neither Rod nor Gray wanted to pay attention to him.

After having fun for most of the day, everyone felt a little hungry and went back to the hotel to shower, eat and rest.

But this is not the end of the trip, because this hotel also has an underground amusement park (casino), so everyone decided to go back to the room to take a rest and then go take a look.

"What are you doing here?" Mira let Rhodes sneak into her room without noticing.

Rhode hugged her and said, "Because this is a rare time for us to be alone."

Mira nuzzled into his arms: "But I want to take a nap."

Rhodes said, "Let's go together."

Mira looked at him without saying anything.

Rhodes raised a hand: "Promise not to do anything."

It's not a good idea to do it in broad daylight, and those rude guys might suddenly break in at any time.

Even if it wasn't an intentional break-in, it could have been because of a fight or something like that, which wouldn't be surprising at all.

That’s the only downside to hanging out with a group – it’s a little inconvenient to do some things.

There’s no other way, it’s nice to just hug a soft human-shaped pillow and have a good sleep.

However, not long after lying down, Rhodes found out that he was wrong.

After Mira fell asleep, she used him as a pillow, with her arms and legs completely wrapped around him.

If it weren't for his weak strength, Rhodes would have suspected that this was some advanced locking technique.

So the question is, what should a boyfriend do after his girlfriend falls asleep?
Should I give her a slap in the face, and then hug her when she wakes up and ask her "Did you have a nightmare?"
Rod hadn't lived long enough.

He just stared at Mira's sleeping face secretly, trying to see if he would be discovered if he tried to steal a kiss.

Although I can kiss her when she is awake, it feels different when she is asleep.

Mira seemed to be sleeping soundly, and would not wake up even if she was poked or pinched gently with her fingers.

Rhode thought proudly that it was in his arms that he could sleep so peacefully. He hugged Mira gently and closed his eyes.

When he woke up, Mira was lying on the bed, supporting her chin with one hand, staring at him intently with her big eyes.

Rod looked into her eyes and asked, "Does it look good?"

"Hmm..." Mira thought for a moment and smiled, "It doesn't look good."

She was not good-looking but she was still looking at it with such enthusiasm. She was a woman who said one thing and meant another. Rhode's eyes drifted down for a moment, then moved back: "What time is it?"

"We've overslept. Erza and the others should have gone out to play by now." Mira sat up on the bed and took Rhodes' hand. "Change your clothes and go downstairs."

"Okay." Rhodes was pulled up by her and changed his clothes in a flash. Unfortunately, his clothes-changing magic became more and more proficient and he did not make any mistakes.

Mira opened her suitcase and searched for suitable clothes, and said casually: "Should I also learn the magic of changing clothes?"

"Okay, I'll teach you." Rhodes said, "But isn't transformation magic very convenient? You can even create clothes that you don't have." "But you have to use magic power to maintain it. Although it's not much, it's still quite tiring." Mira said, "I can't just create a nice outfit and then ask you to add the Crown of Insight to me."

Rhode smiled and said, "That's not bad. She's wearing a beautiful evening gown, surrounded by red and blue lights. She'll be the center of attention the moment she appears."

"Changing into a dress just to go to the casino is something Erza would do."

Mira finally took only a set of casual clothes and asked Rod to turn around and not peek.

In the past, when she changed clothes, she would either chase him out or go to the bathroom by herself. Rhodes tried hard to find the direction in front of him, but unfortunately there was no mirror.

"All right."

When Rhodes turned around, Mira had already changed into an ordinary black short-sleeved shirt, paired with light blue denim shorts, and a pair of black high-heeled sandals.

She gathered her hair and was about to tie it up, but then she let go of her hands and turned around: "Help me do it."

Rhodes smiled and said, "Okay."

However, just as he took a step forward, everything in front of him suddenly went dark.

It was pure darkness, and he couldn't even see Mira who was right in front of him.

"Cuckoo~"

"what!"

Almost at that moment, Rhodes heard a strange bird cry, and then Mira screamed and rushed into his arms.

The huge force carried Rhodes along, breaking the door behind him and causing him to fall to the ground in the corridor.

The darkness quickly dissipated, and when the two stood up, they found that they were surrounded by three strange men.

Mira covered her stomach with one hand, stood back to back with Rhodes, and before he could ask, she said, "I'm fine, be careful."

"Hmm." Now was not the time to say more. Rhodes carefully looked at the appearance of these people and pondered their origins.

The sudden darkness and the silent attack just now were definitely caused by the enemy, and the target was very clear, which was the two of them.

I seem to have seen these people somewhere before...

One is a woman wearing a kimono and holding a red samurai sword. Her pink hair is combed into two loops on her head, which seems to be called a "垂髫分肖接" (a bun with a bun-like shape).

A burly, shirtless man, with an owl-like figure above his neck, carrying a rocket backpack on his back, probably a prop of some kind.

There was also a man with long black hair that reached the ground, wearing dark lipstick and carrying an electric guitar. His whole outfit looked very death and heavy metal.

"Skull and Bones?" Mira recognized the symbols on their bodies and clothes, "It's a dark guild."

Rhode said: "To be specific, it is an assassination guild, and one of the best among them, the special guerrilla force, the Three Crows."

These were ruthless men who, with just three people, assassinated all the officers and generals in the enemy army in a war.

The blood of their hands is countless.

The long-haired man held the guitar and plucked the strings casually, making a harsh sound. He shook his long hair and praised, "As expected of a goblin strategist, your intelligence ability is pretty good."

The owl that came out of the room made a strange sound: "Coo~Coo! We are warriors of justice. All we do is to eliminate evil."

Mira said incredulously: "The guy who was paid to kill people actually claimed to be righteous."

"There's no need to argue pointlessly." The pink-haired woman took two steps forward in a butterfly-like posture, and the oiran clogs on her feet made a clicking sound.

"My name is Turtle Dove. I have been ordered to come and visit you two. Please give me your guidance."
