Warhammer: Angron Training Manual
Chapter 115: 2 Legions
Chapter 115 Two Legions
After the Primarch determined his attitude towards the Legion, he continued to read the past information about the Legion.
"My legion was used more as a reserve force or shock force for other legions during the Great Crusade, and occasionally did some dirty work."
Angron held another scroll in his hands, turning the pages faster than a mortal could close a book, but his eyes could accurately capture every line of the words on the page and remember them in his mind like an imprint.
Angron learned everything very quickly, in part because he was an efficient reader.
"One hundred and fifty thousand men...fighters like that, one hundred and fifty thousand!"
“But now only 10,000 people have been drafted in here.”
"They fought in the 13th Expeditionary Fleet. Because my legion is so notorious, the 13th Expeditionary Fleet is also known as the 'Blood Thirteen'."
"It seems their problems are more serious than I thought."
Qin Xia listened carefully as the Principal read out the contents of the document and expressed his opinions.
He did know a lot about the 12th Legion, but those things were not told in a straightforward manner, but rather scattered fragments whose timeliness was questionable.
"If we want to deploy the Twelfth Legion, which we named the World Eaters, into the war to attack Nu Saturn, we have to take these issues into consideration." Qin Xia was very serious at this time, because what he and the Primarch were discussing was a matter that affected the entire legion and the celestial body Nu Saturn.
Throw the Space Marine Corps into the war to attack Nu Saturn... Before Qin Xia said this a second ago, the two had not even formally discussed how to attack Nu Saturn.
Before the Legion arrived, Angron had only been urging Nu-I to produce large shipbuilding equipment that could convert transport ships into combat transports.
When Qin Xia said this, Angron did not consider whether to let the 12th Legion join. He just followed Qin Xia's thoughts and thought: "All the information about Nu Saturn II shows that the place was once a gold-consuming den for ancient rich people. The High Knights were not interested in developing the place and never organized immigration, so there should be only the High Knights there."
As he spoke, Angron paced in the archives, frowning in thought.
"For the time being, we don't have to worry about the 12th Legion causing heavy casualties among civilians. What I'm worried about is if the rebels fight alongside these 10,000 people..."
"My descendants have written down in their records how many friendly troops they killed that blocked their way or who fled."
The Primarch's concern was very necessary.
Qin Xia thought for a moment and answered casually: "Then don't let the rebels fight alongside them. Ten thousand Space Marines will be enough to attack Nusa II."
"I'm not wondering if they can take down Nusa on their own. I'm thinking that they are new here and don't know the High Knights. A reckless attack could certainly take down Nusa, but there would inevitably be unnecessary casualties due to not understanding the opponent," said Angron.
"Those high knights will die if they run into them." Qin Xia was very confident. As an Astartes, he knew the Astartes' abilities very well. "A few years ago, I predicted that if we couldn't wipe out all the slave owners on Nuceria by ourselves, then your descendants would come here and turn Nuceria into an empty world without many casualties."
After Qin Xia said this, Angron believed it very much and no longer worried about casualties, but he expressed another concern: "The rebels are still rebels in name, but in fact they are already the regular armed forces of Nuceria. Such armed forces cannot stay in Nuceria forever. Sooner or later, they will have to fight side by side with my descendants as mortal infantry."
"Then let the rebels participate in the battle. As for preventing them from killing friendly forces, just mention it. Trust me." Qin Xia nodded.
Angron nodded as well.
"Let the transport plane pick up the general." Qin Xia stood up and smiled, as if looking at the result of his best efforts to care for and cultivate, "Master of the Twelfth Legion."
Angron also smiled. …
Triumph Hall.
This largest venue, located on the flagship of the Legion of Resolute Resolve and decorated with the honors of the Twelve Legions, will be used as a place for ceremonies and celebrations in the future.
Now, the senior generals of the Nuceria rebel army, as well as the legion commander Kiel and several company commanders gathered here.
When the Primarch ordered the mortal attendants on the Resolute Resolve to convey the order to dispatch a transport plane to Nuceria to pick up the people, Kiel carried out the order meticulously. He first conveyed the Primarch's original words to Nuceria, asking them to make preparations, and then sent a company commander to pick up the people.
The officers were all present, but the Primarch had not yet arrived.
This lateness was exactly what Kiel wanted, because it gave him time to interact with the people around the Primarch and ask about his likes and dislikes.
Most of the gladiators who had followed Angron out of the arena were now high-ranking generals, and they were also present. These people were visual oddities in Kiel's eyes.
Some of them had their legs replaced with spears and wore armor with wings, while others wore heavy black armor that looked very ancient and had a large number of unknown decorations.
What are those decorations for? Keel couldn't help wondering.
Most of these people looked difficult to approach, especially the middle-aged man whose head was almost as big as a Space Marine and as strong as a bear.
So Kiel chose a target who looked young and easy to talk to.
"Transformed prosthesis?"
Yochula was waiting for Angron to arrive when he heard heavy footsteps beside him and turned to look.
Kiel walked towards Yochula, tapped the latter's arm prosthesis, and tried to be as friendly as possible: "This thing looks good. I know a legion that likes prosthesis very much. If they come, you will definitely get along with them."
"Really? Ha...ha..." Even with a translator, Yochula couldn't understand some of the nouns in Kiel's words, so he could only respond with an awkward smile.
Kiel had a blank expression and was serious. Compared with other soldiers, this legion commander was relatively good at socializing.
Judging from the fact that Yochula smiled at someone he met for the first time and responded with a smile even when he didn't understand, it can be inferred that Yochula must be a person who is easy to talk to and even a little easy to bully.
Kil didn't want to bully Yochula because he didn't know where the other party came from, but it was no problem to get some information from this easy-going man.
"What kind of man was the gene-father of me and my brothers, our Primarch?"
As he spoke, Kiel looked behind the throne at the highest point of the Triumphal Hall.
It was empty, waiting for the most skilled carving worker on the ship to carve the most majestic posture of the Primarch there.
