Warhammer: Angron Training Manual
Chapter 185 Prosperity
Chapter 185 Prosperity
The Primarch stepped onto the command deck with the Guide.
The officers on the command deck briefly put down their work, saluted, and continued working.
Qin Xia used his psychic vision to observe the situation in the subspace so that he could adjust the flow of psychic energy in time.
Angron walked around the command deck, occasionally standing behind an officer to observe his work.
"4981233."
"You calculated this thing."
Angron stood behind an officer and spoke to the officer who was operating a computer to slowly calculate the logistics supply.
The officer was very annoyed by the tedious calculations. When he was concentrating on the calculations, he was interrupted and turned back to glare.
After discovering it was the Primarch, the officer's expression changed instantly. He saluted and gave a look of gratitude, then filled in the answer that the Primarch had calculated in seconds on the form.
Angron went over to the other officers, listening and watching in silence, occasionally offering help when he could.
Calculations that are extremely difficult for mortals are like one plus one, a math problem taught in Nuceria kindergarten, to the Primarch.
There wasn't always room for Angron to help.
After a round, Angron returned to the officer who was doing the calculations. Seeing that he had finished his day's work, he pointed to the numbers on the table and asked, "Are these our remaining logistical quantities?"
"Yes, Your Highness, if their number reaches four digits we will be in danger," the officer replied respectfully.
“Oh.” Angron tilted his head slightly. “I always feel that you guys in charge of logistics are very hurried and tired, but I haven’t paid attention to logistics matters… You’ve been working so hard.”
"For the Empire, for humanity," the officer replied.
"..." Angron nodded and tiptoed to the communications officer. He stood behind the communications officer and watched him operate the communications device, contact various parts of the ship and listen to reports from various parts.
Every ship in the fleet is like a city, and the Resolute Resolve is an extremely large city.
Just conducting a census would take a long time.
But when Angron took over management of the Hound's Fang after the previous civil unrest, the situation on each ship became clear.
Every senior official in the fleet knew the most important thing.
That is, the rebels on the lower deck were not suddenly refreshed during the subspace navigation phase, but were reproduced by people on the ship. If they had no way to survive, they would rebel.
The population of the lower deck of the ship was counted, a new rationing system was applied, those who had been multiplying on the lower deck for a long time were given jobs and food, and the living environment was greatly improved.
While Angron was moving around, the fleet jumped out of the warp and arrived at a system.
"This is the Empire's territory." Salin ordered the officers, "Restock the supplies."
The officers then passed the order on.
The fleet began to approach the starport for supplies.
"Captain." The communications officer stood up and looked at Salin, "There are some people on World 3 in the system who want to join the Emperor's great cause and expand human territory."
This is not the first time the fleet has encountered such a situation.
People on some planets that have done well in education will spontaneously gather together, waiting for a certain legion fleet to pass by and then join the fleet to contribute to the great cause of all mankind.
This is the thirtieth millennium.
From a macro perspective, the human race is thriving and full of vitality.
The valuable qualities of courage, determination and enterprising spirit that were once forgotten have been partially recovered.
Qin Xia knew that the impact of the chaos in the 30th millennium was not that widespread, so this group of people was most likely just contributing to the ongoing cause of mankind, and even their needs were to contribute their own strength.
But you still have to be careful when you encounter such things.
"The White Knight needs some sailors." Qin Xia walked towards the airlock door. "I'll go take a look."
The fleet began to wait.
Waiting for supplies, waiting to prepare for the next warp voyage.
Those who wanted to join the fleet were at the star port, and after Qin Xia had their souls seen through, they were taken to the White Knight by the transport fleet.
These hundreds of thousands of people sang songs praising humanity and the Emperor in unison, walking happily in the White Knight's transport channel.
The captain arranged work and accommodation for them, and then these people immediately rushed to their jobs.
Qin Xia discovered that many of them were even respectable wealthy people, or scientists, or top students in local schools, which meant that they were not a group of poor people who couldn't make it in the local area.
These people left their hometowns to join the great cause that is being carried out by all mankind. With the farewell of the local planetary governor and civilians, they put on the decorations that represent honor in the local culture, and then lined up to go to the starport and board the battleship.
For the sake of humanity, for the Emperor, for the Empire, and for that dreamlike and beautiful goal, people gave up everything they had in their hometown, just to contribute all they could as an individual.
They knew what they were about to face - living on warships for generations, doing the same job for generations, giving birth to "Children of the Void" in the void environment who were sometimes mistaken for aliens, not knowing when they would die in a warp navigation accident, and perhaps being killed or played to death by the abominable aliens.
But they are fearless.
After more than 100,000 people settled down on the White Knight and distributed to various decks, supplies were also replenished.
The fleet sailed to Mandeville Point and jumped into the warp.
The voyage continues.
……
Three months later.
"This long journey was like traveling until we reached the Onus Sector."
“It allowed me to see a lot of things.”
Inside the office of the Resolute Resolution.
Angron and Qin Xia sat inside and outside the desk respectively, engaging in their daily chat.
"Some worlds are ruled by very cruel empires, while others are well managed by them."
“People are different.”
"Also, the Empire is really huge, and humans have set foot in many places." "There are worlds with only primitive tribes, worlds with higher technology than Nuceria, worlds with extremely high moral standards and abundant material conditions, and worlds where people kill each other regularly."
"..."
Qin Xia listened with a smile.
He was also shocked by the journey.
After coming to this universe, in the 40th millennium, I either followed the White Scars around, or was put in a jar and ran around with the Grey Knights. I haven't seen so much.
It was not until the 30th millennium that I truly saw it.
The galaxy is vast, and the territory of the human empire before the end of the Great Crusade was also vast.
"Overall, the entire race is thriving now," Angron said with emotion.
Qin Xia felt the same way.
The Iron Man Rebellion did not cause humanity to fall into the abyss. What really caused humanity to fall into the abyss was the warp storm.
The depravity of the Eldar awakened or perhaps shaped Slaanesh, one of the Dark Gods of Chaos whose cries caused Warp storms to spread across the galaxy.
Without the means of superluminal travel, the various human worlds have lost contact with each other. This is the real reason why humanity has fallen into the abyss.
Now that the subspace storm has dissipated, faster-than-light travel has been restored.
It is true that many, many worlds still remain in a state of ignorance and poverty, but they at least know the existence of the human empire and the purpose of the founder of this empire.
The human race as a whole finally began to climb upward and began to regain the qualities that had once been lost, such as courage, enterprising spirit, and tenacity.
Qin Xia was not a member of the Imperial War Council or any of the Empire's many institutions, so he was unable to know the current overall situation of the human race from data. However, as the Primarch leader of the World Eaters Legion and the Lord of the White Knights, he was able to glimpse the current overall situation of the human race from a microscopic perspective.
When the World Eaters arrive in a system for resupply, there will be those who want to join the fleet and contribute as before.
The locals will contribute the few resources on the planet and give a message.
There will be primitive tribesmen shouting "We know nothing, but we just want to fight for the great chief called the Emperor!" and then ask to join the fleet as combatants.
Qin Xia also witnessed a lot of dark things.
Heavy tithes.
A world that was originally pretty good became rotten and poor after being assigned a ruler by an inhuman empire.
In order to conquer a world faster, the Empire chose to maintain the rule of local slave owners.
And so on.
But it is undeniable that from an overall perspective the human race is full of vitality.
Because now there is still hope and possibility.
"Overall, compared to ten thousand years later, now is simply a golden age," said Qin Xia.
"It would be better if there weren't so many aliens with amazing strength." Angron stood up and walked to the porthole.
After all, this trip was not to travel or gain experience, but to go to the Onus star zone to deal with the Orks.
There has been no news from the Onus sector, but Angron and Qin Xia both feel that Vulkan has now pacified the Alien Empire and has begun to face the attack of the Orks.
But it is undoubtedly impossible for the 18th Legion to defend an entire star sector, but at least they can hold on until reinforcements arrive.
"When I get to the Onus star zone, I will find a way to build a relationship with Vulcan, and then ask him to help me make a weapon or something." Qin Xia said thoughtfully.
Angron was not surprised that his adoptive father was always honest. He agreed, "I will also try to work hard in this area. Whether it's my brother Vulkan, my brother Fulgrim, or my brother Ferrus... they are all as good at making things as that twisted freak Perturabo."
Angron turned around and looked at Qin Xia. "At least I have to make a set of armor and weapons for my dad. I owe them anything."
Qin Xia nodded silently, but thought in his heart that Angron, as the leader of the 12th Legion, should not owe favors to others, so he had to figure out a way to get his own weapons and armor.
Angron was thinking about designing a kind of armor that would be worthy of Qin Xia, but after thinking about it, he decided not to think about it, because after all, he only learned the design ability halfway, and if those brothers could help, they would definitely be much better than him.
As the Primarch was pondering, a flash of light appeared at the edge of the system, and two cruisers with three frigates jumped out of the warp.
Then a holographic projection appeared above the desk.
That was transferred from the command deck.
"Lord of the Twelve Legions."
The face of Alkahas Far, the Shadow Lord of the Nineteenth Legion, appeared in the projection.
The legion commander first saluted Angron, then looked at Qin Xia with a complex expression full of helplessness, and finally started to talk about business.
"The Lord of the Nineteenth Legion, Corax, sent me to assist you in the battle. The Lord knows that your legion is short of void combat power, so he asked me to bring the warships. I and the thirty thousand men I brought with me can also serve as an assassination force for you to command."
After Farr finished speaking, he bowed.
Angron stared at Fal in the projection. "Tell me the truth. Have you been exiled by my brother?"
Fal choked up, but he couldn't hide it anymore, thinking that he would meet Angron soon, so he told the truth: "Yes, Lord of the Twelve Legions. My Primarch exiled me and most of the other slave owners from the Dryland Tribes, but he said we could try our luck with you, either go to Onus with you, or go on our own Great Crusade."
"Of course you can join me." Angron nodded slowly. "I don't mind having too many people, because the war that is about to be fought will require saving many people and fighting many battles."
Farr on the projection was visibly relieved.
Qin Xia could tell that Corax must have said something to Fal, such as if Angron was willing to take him with him, then he would have a chance to return in the future.
"At your service." Farr saluted again.
Angron raised his hand and pointed at Fal.
"But don't think you damned things will get any courtesy from me."
"You will atone for your sins in your own way."
"I will teach you slave masters a lesson."
