Chapter 195 Reinforcements
Chapter 195 Reinforcements
"It can still move!"
Vulkan watched as Gorkuo raised his giant claws and grabbed the spear, while the lance connected to his other shoulder rose up and aimed at the head of the God Titan.
Qin Xia's face was stern. He quickly raised his left hand and waved his other hand.
A psychic barrier rose in front of Qin Xia to resist small attacks. While large sparks splashed from other parts of the Titan's top armor, the shield pushed up the gun from bottom to top.
The spear was pulled out from the abdomen of Gogo King Kong.
In the vast and flat belly space of the Gorkha, which was like a deck, the greenskins gathered like ants and looked up at the long spear that was like some small building being pulled out of the hole.
The Titan's hand holding the spear wrestled with the giant claw that grasped the middle of the spear.
Vulkan looked around to observe the situation, and finally jumped off the top armor and landed on the arm of the Titan holding the shield. Then he ran along the arm and climbed nimbly to the top edge of the shield, then jumped onto the musket and ran to the connection between the musket and King Kong's shoulder.
Some Vulkan vehicles equipped with weapons similar to anti-aircraft guns opened fire, but there were only a few of them, and most of the greenskin vehicles were still focusing their fire on the Titan.
Vulkan at the connection point completely ignored the attacks whizzing past his ears and raised his war hammer high with both hands.
As a Primarch who is skilled in forging, the hammer made by Vulkan is not just an ordinary big hammer.
Flames spread on the warhammer, and when the weapon was hit hard by its owner at the connection between the musket and King Kong's shoulder, a visual effect similar to an explosion was produced, but what really worked was the EMP effect that appeared with the flash.
The gun sank like a broken arm.
The God Titan raised his shield to block the musket, pulled the heavy shield backwards with his entire arm, and then pushed it forward swiftly to smash it on the head of King Kong.
This didn't have the same effect as hitting the head in a fight between two living things, which could make the opponent dizzy, but it pushed King Kong backwards.
The spear got rid of the giant claw, and the flashing function was just charged.
Under Qin Xia's control, the entire Titan leaped backwards, stirring up dust and flashing behind Gogo King Kong.
The spear stabbed from bottom to top, entered through the "wound" in King Kong's abdomen, and exited through King Kong's head.
Energy was slowly accumulated from the tip of the gun to the handle, until it finally released a dazzling flash of light, completely blowing the Gogo King Kong into pieces.
"This King Kong is a bit weak, not as strong as I imagined." Qin Xia said to Vulcan who came back.
Vulkan nodded, then quickly looked around.
The greenskin vehicles were still focusing their fire on the Titans, but the Titans' armor easily withstood those less destructive attacks.
The Titan flashed again, this time appearing not far from the greenskin vehicles, with a shield in front of him, and all kinds of long and short range fire were fired in turn.
When Qin Xia's eyes fell on the vehicle, the green skin inside the vehicle exploded.
Vulkan no longer needed to take action at this time and looked up at the sky.
Dense greenskin warships are still crisscrossing the galaxy, and the greenskins are still continuously launching super-large WAAAGH stars in their eyes, rushing to this world to challenge the already notorious greenskin butchers.
Now the only ones willing to challenge the greenskin butcher are the war generals and the greenskins who are like slaves driven by the war generals.
These warriors were willing to gather in this world just to challenge the greenskin butchers. Vulkan had to think again that what Qin Xia said before was correct. These greenskins were really more like expelled refugees, doing whatever they wanted.
The God Titan slaughtered the greenskins like a slaughterer, but no matter how powerful it was, it was only a land combat weapon and could not destroy the fleets in the galaxy.
But fortunately, the reinforcement fleet has arrived.
Vulkan saw the brief flash of light in the system, the flash of the rift torn by the warp drive used by the humans as the auxiliary ships entered the real universe.
……
"A small fleet has already entered the system and attracted some of the Ork warships."
"We will be able to engage in void warfare with the enemy in the galaxy. If the situation on World 8923 is not relatively desperate, we will be able to delay the galaxy until other legions arrive."
Salin reported the situation and progress to the Primarch at the tactical table on the command deck.
Angron turned to look at the porthole anxiously.
The White Knight battleship was not visible outside the porthole. Only the warships left behind by the enemy in the galaxy, as well as the main fleet of the 12th Legion, and the warships of the 18th Legion that were roaming around carrying out missions after the legion entered the Onus star zone could be seen.
"The greenskins are rushing here like crazy." Angron looked back at World 8923 on the tactical table. "This planet looks similar to Nuceria. The situation now is similar to Nuceria before. It's the same hell."
"All companies are ready to join the battle." Kiel walked over quickly to report.
Angron thought for a moment and ordered, "Leave half of the troops to assist the fleet in the battle, and the rest, including the 30,000 men of the 19th Legion, come with me to Little Nuceria."
"Yes." Kiel quickly carried out the order.
The fleet began to fight with the greenskins and started to break through the greenskin warships' blockade of World 8923 with a tight formation.
The Greenskins' behavior seems as unreasonable as the race itself.
They had complete control of the entire galaxy, at least until recently, but they did not destroy the world and everyone on it except through orbital bombardment.
“This is good,” Angron said to himself. “At least we can hold out here until the other legions arrive. This will save us a lot of trouble when we counterattack.”
Salin didn't understand land warfare, but he also thought it was good.
The greenskins have either already arrived at the galaxy and deployed to 8923, or they are on their way while attacking the human world. Their behavior is disorganized, but no matter what their intentions are, it will ultimately be convenient for humans.
It's just that there are too many of them, too many.
"The command of the void war is transferred to you." Angron withdrew his eyes from the tactical table and looked out the porthole at the two enemy ships that had escaped for some reason, then turned and walked out of the command deck.
Salin saluted the Primarch's back and took over the command of the subsequent void battle, which was not difficult. The fleet should not have arrived so late, but it took a little longer to install some weapons.
But it's definitely worth the time spent.
The Primarch walked out of the command deck. Dozens of company commanders who were assigned to land combat missions by Kiel had already been ready and waiting. When they saw the Primarch walk out of the deck, they immediately followed him silently.
The group followed the flagship's spine corridor into the preparation deck.
The gladiators of the Blood Drinker Guards and the Centurion Guards of each company have already put on their Terminator armor and are waiting here.
When Angron arrived, the guards came forward to stand with him.
Everyone was teleported to the planet as a vanguard, but they were not the first wave of teleported troops. Farr and his exile troops were the first wave.
“Prepare for battle.” Angron drew the chainsaw axe that Perturabo had modified for him.
Amid the buzzing of chainsaws, the second wave of teleporters arrived at the fortress on the planet held by the 18th Legion in the blink of an eye.
The fortress was besieged by a massive number of greenskins. The defensive walls, which had become larger and taller than before, could still hold out, but the interior of the fortress was full of holes.
Just as Angron was wondering what could have penetrated the void shield and created a hole in the fortress, a mechanical worm emerged from the ground.
The Primarch jumped up, and the chainsaw axe in his hand, which had been modified by Perturabo, easily cut through the rough-looking but surprisingly defensive armor of the greenskins. After landing, the worm split into two, and the greenskins inside were also split into two.
But more worms emerged and released large numbers of greenskins, which the Blood Drinker Guards quickly cleared out.
Angron looked around and saw Brown walking down from the city wall with five ancient relics hanging on his body. On Brown's body was the anti-psychic device that Qin Xia always carried with him.
"Where's my father?"
Angron asked before Brown could even think of saying anything nonsense.
"He's not at the Fort," Brown said, "but his wives are."
Angron was stunned for a moment, and asked hurriedly, "They are developing so fast? What did I miss?"
"Just kidding." Brown smiled and shook his head.
"You are such a boring bastard." Yochuka said dissatisfiedly, looking back at Yochula who was killing greenskins not far away, "I thought you witnessed something more interesting than my brother's date with Crest."
"Wait... that's Crest, the strongest man among you before you were transformed?" Brown said in disbelief. "Yochula looks quite normal..."
Angron raised his hand to interrupt the conversation and asked about the matter: "Don't waste time. Where are my brother Vulkan and my father?"
"They are acting as greenskin butchers, attracting more greenskins to this world to challenge them." Brown replied, "Another thing is that we have plenty of time to waste now. Although the intensity of the greenskin siege of the fortress is a hundred times higher than before, fortunately, the people here have the help of the ancient relic beneficiaries."
Angron looked towards the fortress's defense wall upon hearing this.
Each defensive wall has an automatic cannon, which continuously releases beams that can harvest large numbers of greenskins.
That was the ancient relic once held by the High Knight. It was usually only the size of a palm, but when needed, it would grow larger by throwing it on the ground.
The situation at the fortress was indeed not too critical.
But Angron soon overturned his opinion because he saw a large green man in armor walking in the fortress.
The armor looks thick and rough. Perhaps humans can also design such rough weapons and equipment, but they will definitely not shape the helmet into the shape of a greenskin's head.
But there were many green heads stuck on the armor.
And there is a Primarch next to the greenskin.
The arrival of the "greenskins" immediately made everyone alert.
The "greenskin" walked slowly in front of everyone, and then the helmet in the shape of a greenskin head bounced back, revealing a familiar face that was handsome and resolute.
It was Qin Xia.
But Qin Xia looked like he had just washed his face, and his temples were wet.
"Sorry, the plane I was on with Vulkan crashed, so I'm a little late." Qin Xia said with his hands spread out.
Angron breathed a sigh of relief and smiled.
Vulkan looked Angron over, then stepped forward and held out his hand to Angron. "Thank you for your support, brother."
Angron held Vulkan's hand. "Everyone has praised your kindness along the way. Now I finally see you."
"But what I did was not good enough. The Onus Sector has already made great sacrifices."
"At least you didn't abandon those who were still alive. There were so many greenskins attacking the Onus sector that there was no way to estimate or count them..."
Vulkan was silent for a few seconds after hearing Angron's word "attack".
Now he was convinced that the greenskins were not attacking at all, but were being driven out.
Driven away by something more powerful.
While the Primarch was talking, more Space Marines were teleported into the fortress by the Ancient Void Shields, and the company commanders commanded their respective companies to assist in the defense.
Supplies that had previously been impossible to transport in were restored.
With the arrival of the 12th Legion, the pressure has been relieved a lot, at least for now.
