Warhammer: Angron Training Manual

Chapter 240 The Guest of Destiny

Chapter 240 The Guest of Destiny
The Librarians took away all the psykers who had the potential to become White Knights.

Although Kamas, as a think tank editor, does not hold a high position, he has been entrusted with a guiding responsibility. He will personally teach every psychic about the White Knights' rules and regulations, and help them get to know the tough guys and bigwigs in the legion.

As for psychic learning, Kamas is not good at teaching psychic powers, so this matter should naturally be handled by other high-level think tanks.

As for the two aspects of psychic training and common sense learning, Qin Xia planned to come up with a more detailed plan in a few days.

After all, White Knight had no new members joining before, so it is understandable that they are only starting to work on the plan now.

After all the think tanks and psykers left, Qin Xia faced the two Gray Knights alone.

“Let’s have a full meal.”

"We want to eat!"

The two Grey Knights suddenly began to slap the metal armrests of the wheelchairs beneath them, and the super wheelchairs that Quadrant had customized for them made a buzzing sound.

Qin Xia just stood there and watched silently.

He didn't go up to call the two people, nor did he stop them, nor did he take them away. He just watched.

Because Qin Xia was analyzing the mental states of the two Gray Knights.

Ever since rescuing the two of them onto the boat, Qin Xia has been studying their mental states with Quadrant. By recording and analyzing their crazy words, they inferred that the two might be lost in their memories.

Every word they uttered in their mentally abnormal state was something they had said in their own memories and had faced personally.

"It's like the two of them are trapped in a maze of mind and memory."

Qin Xia recalled what Quadrant said.

“The maze is full of memories and mental stimulation.”

"But occasionally they would come across one or two doors, and they were like walking in a maze, feeling ..."

"Then, in one past after another, I discovered one or two doors, reached out and pushed open the doors to briefly leave the maze of memories, and then was forcibly pulled back into the maze."

"..."

Qin Xia fell into deep thought as he recalled the time when he judged the mental states of the two Grey Knights in the laboratory.

He still remembered asking Quadrant: "I think they may also be lost in memories, but the root of this problem may be that they have been greatly stimulated mentally. At least that's what I thought before. After I sensed their brains, I thought so..."

Qin Xia kept emphasizing that he thought so.

But this emphasis just shows that he is ambiguous and not very sure.

The act of perceiving the brain through psychic power is itself a psychic behavior, not to mention that the two Grey Knights have been in the Warp for an unknown amount of time. Once something is contaminated with psychic power, it is hard to say what will happen.

"I don't think their mental willpower can be crushed to the point of insanity," said Quadrant. "I used a technology I invented myself to conduct an extremely detailed scan of their neural networks. From a physiological perspective, they are more receptive to mental attacks and can endure mental trauma than any normal Space Marine."

Hearing this, Qin Xia couldn't refute.

This may be how the Grey Knights' gene-seed works, with a focus on strengthening their nerves in order to prevent them from being traumatized.

"After hearing what you said, I no longer think they were driven crazy by the strange environment of the warp."

Qin Xia stared at the two Grey Knights, just as he was staring at them now as they sat in wheelchairs.

Then he had an idea.

"Do you remember what the Eldar prophet said before?"

"Perhaps this is the undesirable consequence of traveling through time."

"The soul keeps wandering in the maze of memories until it returns to where it belongs, or is destroyed."

After hearing this, Quadrant thought about it carefully.

His research on the soul was not as in-depth as Sister Orina's, but he was interested in the soul because research related to the soul was his only possibility to have natural humanity again.

The little bit of biological tissue that he had tried every means to preserve would not allow him to become a natural human being with normal emotions and humanity one day in the future.

"This is the only answer I can think of." Qin Xia said.

Qin Xia recalled that he also traveled through 1 years to come to this universe, but he didn't have any reaction.

Recalling what the prophet said, the damn Eldar prophet's words always made Qin Xia feel that he caused the entire ship to be lost in the warp, and then traveled through time from the extremely distant future to the present, which led to the destruction of the entire battleship and the death of other people.

"Maybe there are some metaphysical reasons." Quadrant suddenly spoke.

Qin Xia looked towards the quadrant and listened curiously.

"That's all I'm saying. I think it might have something to do with fate."

"For example, if fate arranges for a person to cross the river of time, then this person will not be excluded."

"..."

Qin Xia didn't think this had anything to do with fate or anything like that, so he didn't listen to what Quadrant said next.

After standing in front of the two Gray Knights for a while, Qin Xia walked around their wheelchairs and came behind them. He held the back of a wheelchair with one hand and pushed the wheelchair forward.

No matter what, both of them helped a lot just now, and we can't just leave them here.

Just as Qin Xia was pushing the wheelchair, one of the Gray Knights suddenly woke up.

"Don't worry about the two of us, go do something more important!"

Hearing the shout, Qin Xia stopped, tilted his head slightly, and looked confused.

The Grey Knight shouted, "We have come to a crossroads of destiny. There is a very important person, a very important person to you... I see him."

While shouting, the Gray Knight, who had just woken up but looked not so awake, slapped the wheelchair hard and pushed Qin Xia eagerly.

“……” Qin Xia just felt confused.

However, he remembered that the Grey Knight was particularly good at prophecy, and he could sense that the other party was awake, but just did not act so awake.

So Qin Xia decided to go and see where the person who was so important to him was.

Qin Xia then used spiritual energy on the two wheelchairs, allowing them to automatically move toward their residence, while he himself went to the flagship.

……

A battleship suddenly appeared in the galaxy and slowly approached the two legion fleets.

After confirming the other party's identity, the battleship was allowed to enter the legion fleet and slowly docked next to the two flagships side by side.

Because the distance was so close, everyone on the flagship could see the battleship clearly.

It was just a standard small frigate, and it came alone. It was conceivable that the people inside were not that important, or the legion really could not provide more warships.

The frigate was painted red and engraved with the Imperial double-headed eagle emblem, as well as another symbol representing the Legion. "Sun Ring."

"The emblem of the Fifteenth Legion."

"The prophet who is so slow on his feet has finally arrived. If he had come a little later, the war would probably be over."

Perturabo had a look of dissatisfaction on his face, and his sour face was no longer the classic sour face on the Internet, but an even uglier face.

Angron stood beside Perturabo, and Qin Xia stood beside Angron.

Compared to the dissatisfied Lord of Steel, Angron's expression was much happier, because he was looking forward to the arrival of the Thousand Sons Prophecy Master.

It was this soldier of the 15th Legion who predicted the threat posed by all the psychic greenskins on that planet in this galaxy, which is enough to show that his predictive ability is very strong.

If we could have his help, perhaps the war here could be resolved earlier.

At this moment, Qin Xia's expression was somewhere between Perturabo and Angron, with no emotion showing.

He had some prejudices against the people of the Fifteenth Legion, so of course he was not very excited at this time.

But at the same time, there are some expectations that come from elsewhere, because when the Grey Knight spoke the prophecy when he was awake, the man from the Fifteenth Legion arrived. Perhaps he is a very important person to him.

Qin Xia thought so.

The airtight door opened quickly.

The disinfection process initiated to prevent the introduction of orc spores onto the warship released a large amount of smoke, which spewed out from under the raised gates.

Qin Xia took a breath, wondering whether to add some fragrance to the disinfectant gas.

"Two wizards," Perturabo said.

There was not one person standing in front of everyone, but two.

The two men from the Fifteenth Legion paused for a moment after seeing their friendly forces, apparently not expecting that the two Primarchs would come in person.

In particular, they did not expect that the Lord of Steel would come in person, so the two soldiers of the 15th Legion kept their gazes on the Lord of Steel for a little longer.

When Perturabo noticed the two men's eyes were fixed on him, he subconsciously glanced at Angron.

In fact, it was Angron who pulled him over, otherwise he would not have come here at all.

A Primarch actually met with two Space Marines. If these two guys were just advance troops, and their arrival meant that more reinforcements from the 15th Legion would be coming, then welcoming them would not be a big deal. But the 15th Legion only sent two people in total to welcome them, which was really a bit too much.

This was all the eye contact and thought changes that happened in less than half a second.

The two visitors saluted quickly, using the courtesy of the Fifteenth Legion.

He placed one hand in front of him and bowed slightly.

It was like the etiquette that people who spend all day studying in the palace would have.

That was a courtesy of Prospero, the homeworld of the Primarch Magnus.

Neither of these two warriors are necessarily from Prospero, they are more likely to be from Terra, but as the saying goes, when in Rome, do as the Romans do, and since they have joined the Legion, they must use the etiquette of the Primarch's home planet.

Unless a Terra warrior is particularly rebellious, most warriors will have this awareness.

"The Fourth Legion, the Lord of the Twelfth Legion."

The two warriors saluted respectfully and called out the names of Perturabo and Angron, which was a form of respect.

Angron looked at the two with a smile and nodded.

At the same time, the 12 Primarchs also sensed what the two were thinking - they were worried about one thing, which was that they didn't know who the warrior next to the two Primarchs was, but judging from his gorgeous armor, he was definitely not an ordinary warrior, but they didn't know his name, nor did they know what etiquette to use or what honorific title to use to address him.

"Why the Lords of the Fourth and Twelfth Legions?" Perturabo said suddenly.

His voice was filled with dissatisfaction and coldness.

Everyone present looked towards Perturabo.

Perturabo held his head high, looking down at the two 15th Legion soldiers in front of him with contempt.

The light from the corridor poured down from directly above the Lord of Steel, casting several dark and deep shadows on the angular face of the Lord of Steel.

"This title sounds like... like Angron is the master of the Fourth and Twelfth Legions."

"I remember that my brother Magnus was not the kind of person who would neglect education. Didn't he teach you how to address the two Primarchs in front of you in this situation?"

Hearing what Perturabo said, the two soldiers of the 15th Legion were stunned.

This was not the first time they had seen Perturabo...perhaps Perturabo did not remember them.

Perturabo seemed very odd now, for he talked a lot.

The Lord of Steel never reveals his inner thoughts. He may be dissatisfied, but this dissatisfaction will only accumulate instead of being vented.

But Angron could sense why Perturabo said this so bluntly.

Because Perturabo knew one thing very well - even if he didn't say it, at least someone present would know it, so it was better to say it out loud, so as to avoid being pointed out by someone and falling into an embarrassing situation.

"Lord of the Fourth Legion."

"Lord of the Twelfth Legion."

The two warriors saluted Perturabo and Angron respectively.

Perturabo raised his head slightly, looked away, turned around and walked ahead.

Angron looked at Perturabo helplessly, then cast a helpless look at his adoptive father, and finally looked at the two warriors in front of him.

The four of them either shrugged or spread their hands at the same time, and then silently set out on the journey to the flagship command deck.

Qin Xia had been keeping an eye on the two of them.

The two followed to Angron's left, removing their helmets as they walked.

One of them had a sour face and his eyes rolled around, as if he was looking at everything here with a questioning gaze.

The other had a goofy grin on his face and wasn't looking at anything except the road below him.

Qin Xia just stared at the man with the sour face, searching his mind for this familiar face.

Finally, Qin Xia exclaimed in his heart.

"I got a..."

"Isn't this Avida, the first Supreme Grand Master of the Grey Knights?"
