Warhammer: Angron Training Manual
Chapter 261 Madness
Chapter 261 Madness
"Assar."
Avida squatted down and called to his close friend.
Asar opened his eyes tiredly, sweating profusely, but that silly smile appeared on his face again.
This shows that he is a little more normal.
"Fortunately!" Avida pulled Asar up. "If I hadn't been able to save your life this time... and if I hadn't been able to repay you for saving me the last time, I would have felt very guilty."
"Thank you, brother." Asar thanked him, then looked at Qin Xia, "Thank you too, Lord of the White Knights."
Qin Xia just nodded.
"You still have to thank them." Avida raised his head and looked at the Grey Knights.
The next second, a huge fist appeared in Avida's field of vision.
Avida was hit hard in the face and flew backwards half a meter.
Asar was about to ask what happened when he was also punched.
Qin Xia reacted quickly and raised his hand to block, but the Gray Knight in front of him only hit his arm with one punch.
"What are you crazy about!" Avida got up from the ground and shouted, then prepared to release his psychic power to control the Gray Knight in front of him who had suddenly gone crazy.
Qin Xia was not surprised.
Apparently they were both crazy again.
Qin Xia saw that their souls were no longer in their bodies... but they were not completely gone. They were just in a superposition state of being and not being there. It was hard for anything related to the subspace to be anything other than abstract.
"Get out of the way!" Avida stood in front of Asar and called on his spiritual power to avoid hitting Qin Xia in front of him, so he gave a reminder.
At this moment, the Gray Knight who had been running wildly in the cabin in a ninja posture appeared. While running, he kicked Avida one meter away.
Asar immediately stood up to help, but the Grey Knight turned around and kicked him unconscious.
Qin Xia fights the Grey Knight.
There was a muffled banging sound in the cabin.
In the end, Avida covered his chest and carried Asar, rushed out of the cabin with Qin Xia covering him from behind, and immediately pressed the door closing button on the control panel.
He pressed the button at the perfect moment, and Qin Xia rushed out just in time, slid out from under the door, turned around and saw that the two Gray Knights had been trapped in the cabin.
"I can kill you even without a weapon! Heretic!"
"I will tear apart the chests of you who blaspheme the throne and crush your hearts!"
"Give us back our weapons if you dare. Let us fight in an upright manner! Just as you World Eaters want! You cowards of the Blood God!"
"..."
Avida sat down to check on Asar and shook his best friend out of his coma.
Qin Xia breathed a sigh of relief.
It is not too difficult to capture the two Grey Knights, but the problem is that we are afraid of hurting them. After all, they have just helped, and not just just helped. Now they are intermittently going crazy, so we have to endure it if we can.
Thinking of this, Qin Xia looked at Asar who was awakened by Avida, and saw that he had recovered quite well, so he said: "You are cured now, do you want to go back to Prospero of the 15th Legion to let your Primarch treat you well, or stay and see the situation, or do you have other plans?"
Seeing the two hesitate, Qin Xia said again: "I think you should stay and let me observe. When you are sure there is no problem, it will not be too late for you to leave. Anyway, the Fifteenth Legion has no major battles to fight recently."
Avida looked at Asar, waiting for the commander's decision.
Asar nodded in agreement: "Then I will cooperate with your research, Lord of the White Knights."
"It's not that I'm cooperating with my research..." Qin Xia couldn't hold it back, and laughed while explaining, "I'm just observing and seeing what's going on."
The two people with the surname A looked at each other and smiled, then nodded.
Qin Xia also smiled and nodded.
Next, the three of them moved to the medical room. Qin Xia prepared to carefully study the condition of Asar's soul to see what the difference was between him, a person who was possessed by evil spirits in the 30,000th year, and a person ten thousand years later.
……
"That's just the way it is."
"Asar is in good condition now. There is nothing wrong with his soul. He is no different from a normal person. We just need to wait for him to recover slowly."
After a while.
Qin Xia communicated with Angron remotely and talked about Asar and Avida.
Angron looked at the position behind Qin Xia on the communication panel and saw Asar lying on the bed being monitored by various instruments.
Qin Xia didn't mention the feathers growing on Asar's body.
But Angron knew, because he sensed it when he saw the two people named A.
So Qin Xia was not trying to hide it from Angron.
To hide it from someone.
Perturabo came over and pushed Angron out of the box on the communication panel. "Then what else is there to say? Go do what you need to do and don't delay my teaching my brother."
"Okay." Qin Xia nodded calmly, "I have nothing more to say. You can leave, Perturabo."
Just as Perturabo was about to curse, Qin Xia closed the communication panel.
The Lord of Steel turned to Angron and said, "Return to your seat, if you wish to continue to learn from me!"
“Finally you’ve found a chance to catch me.” Angron walked over to the square table that housed the communication panel and sat down in his seat.
"Cough cough." The Lord of Steel coughed lightly.
Angron sensed his brother's thoughts, and even without sensing it he knew what his brother was thinking, so he stood up from the main seat and sat in another seat.
"Haha." The Lord of Steel praised softly, "It seems that your ability to read minds is not completely useless. At least you can use it to please others."
Angron said nothing this time.
Perturabo took out a specially made teaching aid, set up the battlefield where the two armies were fighting on the interactive holographic image presented by the teaching aid, and then began to arrange defensive positions.
It was defensive warfare and positional warfare that Angron learned.
It was true that Perturabo had given him a book on defensive warfare and positional warfare before, but the problem was that some of the content was too obscure to understand for a beginner like Angron, and it even contained a lot of defensive facilities that only Perturabo could build and use, which others could not learn at all.
This is what the Lord of Steel wants.
The purpose was to make it so that Angron himself could not learn at all, and then, through the method and process of teaching him knowledge, he could avenge himself on Angron for all the embarrassment and unhappiness he had suffered before.
Angron could even sense that Perturabo was thinking the same thing. Perturabo had now mastered a technique called "mental flatness".
What it means is: If you can sense my heart, then sense it. I won’t hide it anymore, but that won’t stop me from finding ways to mess with you.
Just like a dead pig is not afraid of boiling water, when Perturabo no longer feels embarrassed and awkward because of his inner thoughts being revealed, Angron is really at a loss... At least Perturabo thinks Angron has no tricks.
Just like it is now.
"Let's start with the part that you, a fool, can't understand the most." Perturabo pointed to the hologram. "That's the part in the middle of the third paragraph on page 47 of the second chapter of the book I gave you."
“Wait.” Angron raised his hand and asked knowingly, “How do you remember it so clearly? Did you bury something obscure that I couldn’t understand and then use this opportunity to explain it to humiliate me?”
Perturabo just twitched his lips after hearing this: "Yes, so what will you do?"
"You are immune to it." Angron was surprised that Perturabo remained calm after being exposed by him again.
There is no doubt that.
The Lord of Steel had acquired resistance to telepathy and had become the undisputed king of resistance, but Angron did not think that Perturabo had ended the disparity in power between him and him.
Quite the opposite.
This meant that the struggle would escalate once again, similar to an arms race. Angron would have to develop new means to deal with Perturabo instead of using the old method to his death.
Angron smiled at the thought.
'Your smirk doesn't even make me nervous and afraid anymore,' Perturabo thought.
Angron heard Perturabo's thoughts and thought to himself, "We'll see."
Perturabo began to explain the purpose of the defensive devices he had invented.
In order to prevent the enemy from discovering its purpose, the design of that kind of defense facility was complicated and intricate, and only Perturabo could understand it.
He now began to explain to Angron.
Similarly, anything that was not clearly written down was explained by Perturabo.
Angron listened like a student.
Occasionally, he would be scolded by Perturabo.
"I reckon you're the stupidest of all our brothers."
"Maybe father should have given you a good brain instead of a hateful ability, so that you can at least understand the purpose of this thing I invented instead of asking questions like a fool."
"Did the anesthesia damage your brain? I heard that you were given anesthesia twice. That damn thing must have caused irreversible damage to your brain."
"Don't you understand what I invented? Why don't you use it? I admit that my inventions are indeed obscure, but that's not an excuse for you to prove that you are not stupid."
"..."
Perturabo did not grow more proud as he spoke these words, nor as Angron remained silent as he took the lecture.
He couldn't figure out whether Angron had truly realized his own folly, or was harboring evil intentions...
It was unknown how much time had passed until Perturabo started telling the story from the moment the fleet entered the warp to the moment the fleet jumped out of the warp.
"ha----"
Angron yawned.
This action displeased Perturabo, for it made Angron look as though he had not been paying attention.
"What kind of man is Dorn?" Angron suddenly asked.
Perturabo frowned, tensed at the name Rogal Dorn, but not sure what Angron was thinking.
Angron was laughing inwardly.
"A fool who is only slightly stronger than you," Perturabo said grimly.
"Really? I heard he's much stronger than me." Angron leaned back in his chair and looked up at the ceiling. "I heard he's the commander of a legion that's equally good at sieges and defenses. He's called the Stone, and he can build a defense that can't be broken."
"I'm sorry I was distracted just now, because I was wondering what would happen if your army met Dorne's army."
"Will what you are telling me now be of any use?"
Every word Angron said made Perturabo's face darker.
Perturabo had heard of the brother named Dorn, and had spoken with him.
They are equally good at offensive and defensive warfare, and are equally famous for their tenacity. As the saying goes, competitors are enemies...
"I will easily break down his defenses," Perturabo said.
“What?” Angron asked.
"My Legion is stronger than his, and my creations are more advanced and perfect than his." Perturabo held his head high. "If my Legion were to fight against Dorn's Legion, I would crush them in the first three hours of battle."
“Really? I don’t believe it,” Angron said.
Perturabo was speechless for a moment.
Because he really didn't know how to prove it to Angron.
He also didn't know that what he should be thinking about was not self-affirmation.
"But then again, you haven't fought each other, so how can I know who is stronger?" Angron said, "But I can at least be sure of one thing, Dorn is more qualified than you in teaching. I heard from a brother that Dorn is a great educator."
“Bullshit!” Perturabo slammed his palm on the new desk he had built for Angron and roared, “What kind of educator is he?! A stubborn stone! His emotional intelligence is shockingly low!”
Angron was stunned.
He realized that everything Perturabo had said so far was not just whispers about a brother behind his back, but was what he thought from the bottom of his heart.
He really thought that Donne was not as good as him, and that the fact that Donne was an educator was pure bullshit.
He was just stating a fact.
Perturabo himself thought so.
“I don’t believe it.” Angron shook his head. “I think you have no patience. Go back to your windowless Ironblood. I won’t learn anymore. I’ll learn from other brothers later.”
"I'll teach you!" Perturabo breathed, frowning. "I'll be more patient this time."
“No.” Angron shook his head.
"Then I will rewrite the book I gave you before, and you can learn it by yourself. Is that okay now?" Perturabo said again.
Angron looked reluctant, thought for a moment, and nodded: "I can reluctantly agree to this."
Perturabo snorted.
"This time, I'll take away the things you invented. You've encrypted them with too many tricks. I haven't learned how to create war machines at all. How can I learn it?"
Angron stood up and said.
"Besides, I am not the Primarch of your Fourth Legion. I cannot lead your legion into battle. What's the point of asking me to start from inventing an electronic unit component?"
"Give me some theoretical knowledge!"
"Don't set a trap for me this time, you hear me!"
Angron's voice grew louder as he spoke, as if he were scolding someone.
But Perturabo endured it, because he really didn't want Angron to go to Dorn to learn defensive warfare... He did go too far, and it really affected the relationship between the brothers.
“Did you hear that?” Angron repeated.
Perturabo was silent for two seconds.
then……
"understood……"
"Will you set a trap for me next time and then find a chance to scold me?"
"No."
"Wrong or not?"
"I did go a little too far... why are you talking nonsense?"
