Warhammer: Angron Training Manual
Chapter 274 Treatment
Chapter 274 Treatment
The room door opens.
As the light shone into the room, the sailors outside who were attracted by the strange sound saw Asar's horrifying appearance.
The sailors either gasped in fear or looked at Asar with horror and curiosity.
It's like observing an animal.
Asar had a strong sense of self-esteem, and Arvida knew this, so he was angry at these mortals who were like watching animals.
But some of these sailors had brought Asar food while he was away, or had taken care of him during the time when Asar was possessed.
So Avida did not curse or attack these mortals, but just pulled off the bed sheet and covered Asar with it.
The bed sheet could not cover Asar's huge body of mutated flesh and blood.
Asar was still afraid of the lights in the corridor.
Just then, all the lights went out.
Sister Orina came over wearing night vision goggles.
The two sisters also held instruments used to check Asar's condition.
Since Asar's mutation began a day ago, the two have been checking on him regularly to make sure that Asar is at least in a sane state and does not go crazy and cause destruction or kill people... This is the only thing they can do.
And now, when the Orina sisters arrived, they happened to see Avida and Asar, so they asked the Quadrant to turn off the lights in this corridor.
"Thank you." Avida still reached out to grab the bed sheet on Asar, subconsciously wanting to prevent his brother from being exposed to the two people wearing night vision glasses.
At the same time, he was very grateful to the two sisters because they ordered the lights to be turned off to prevent the sailors from continuing to observe Asar and to prevent Asar from being burned by the light.
"You're welcome." Orina said coldly.
Olya said the second half of the sentence naturally: "But we are here to check on your fighting brother..."
"No, thank you," Avida answered for Asar, then lowered her head to cover her brother's body and walked quickly past the two sisters with Asar.
Asar was so distressed by the sailors' observation like an animal that his pride made him curl up in pain. However, he still said thank you when he passed by Orina and Oliya.
The two walked out of the corridor and came to the corner leading to the hangar.
The lights here were also turned off, but there were still some people coming to join in the fun.
"Don't crowd here," said Orina.
"Go do what you were meant to do," said Olya.
The sailors all scattered like puppets being manipulated.
But some officers remained.
It’s not that they can resist the psychic power of the Orina sisters, but they just want to watch the fun.
"Get out of here." Olena and Olya said again.
The officers also dispersed.
Avida supported his brother, bowed his head to thank him, and then took Asar all the way to the hangar.
The lights in the hangar could not be turned off anyway, so Avida said to Asar: "You may get burned for a while... but I will quickly take you into the cabin and then back to our cruiser."
All nine heads that Asar grew out of were shaking up and down.
The two of them slowly walked along the road leading to the hangar.
Soon, they found themselves trudging through the snow.
Avida raised his head and saw Qin Xia walking out of the snow and wind.
"..."
Qin Xia said nothing and glanced at the wind and snow behind him.
Avida immediately took Asar into the snowstorm.
On the other side of the wind and snow was the battleship of the Fifteenth Legion where Avida and Asar were riding. This battleship had taken them to the Onus star region for rapid assistance, and now it would also take them away.
Avida sent Asar into the ship, and Qin Xia directly teleported to an abandoned warehouse inside the ship, where there was no light and no one would disturb them.
Asar was finally able to catch his breath, he tore off the sheets and inhaled through more than twenty noses all over his body.
Avida turned his head to look at the wind and snow behind him, then walked over again.
Qin Xia, who was about to wave his hand to disperse the portal, was a little confused when he saw Avida.
"Lord of the White Knights." Arvida placed his hand on his chest and bowed. "What I said on the surface before was too much. I know you don't want to monopolize knowledge, but you have your own ideas, and I have my own ideas. When the two ideas conflict... In short, the most terrible conflict in the world is not the conflict caused by interests, but the conflict caused by the collision of two different ideas."
"I understand." Qin Xia nodded. "If I were you, I would be very anxious too... Reason is a pursuit, not a quality that any of us possess now."
Avida saluted again.
He took two steps back and prepared to return to the ship, but suddenly a question came to his mind, so he stopped and asked, "Why on earth do you want to help us?"
Hearing this, Qin Xia was silent for a few seconds, and then gave the answer that he had not thought of but found difficult to say out loud.
"There are many reasons."
"A big part of it was that I was preventing a terrible tragedy from happening."
"The other reason is that I can't ignore a person who is unable to extricate himself from suffering... Maybe it's because I have lived a collective life since I was a child, or maybe it's because everyone I have seen since I was a child has a bad life, of course it may also be the education given by some people when I was a child... Anyway, that's it."
After getting this answer, Avida thought about it and finally nodded with a smile.
He saluted again, retreated into the wind and snow, and disappeared.
Qin Xia raised an eyebrow and turned to look at the Orina sisters.
One of them had a blank expression, and the other looked sad.
The horrifying sight of Asar's flesh and blood mutation really frightened Olya. She couldn't help but wonder, would this man named Asar be eliminated by the Legion because of the genetic mutation? Or was he related to the darkest secret of the Legion, and the Thousand Sons Legion would hide him...
Olya always thinks a lot. Whenever she looks at a sailor, she would wonder about his future fate.
Blood and flesh diseases always make Olya think deeply.
"Is the war down there over?" Olena asked. "I have a bunch of papers to submit, and I can't wait to get back to Nusa."
"But that's not what you said just now." Olya frowned and looked at her sister.
Olina had no expression on her face, but her eyes were slightly embarrassed. After three seconds of silence, she said, "Oh, and there's also the matter of improving the genes of the locals. It's a small matter, so I forgot about it."
"Soon." Qin Xia replied, "The war will probably be over within two days. Then we will completely wipe out those aliens and all traces of their existence, and then find a way to reverse the genes of the local humans."
"But this is not something that can be done in two or three days. We can bring a local to Nukeriya and do a detailed study."
"Maybe you can get a few papers published or something."
Qin Xia walked past Oulina with his hands behind his back.
"What are you going to do?" Oulina turned and looked at Qin Xia.
"Go do a good deed." Qin Xia turned around and walked backwards. "I said that the genetics of the locals would not be solved in a few days. Once Quadrant has extracted all the genetic samples of the locals, we can study them together."
“…”Olina nodded.
"Also, if you care about something, don't pretend you don't care." Qin Xia said, "We analyze how twisted Perturabo's personality is every day, and I think you are no less." Orina frowned: "How can my personality be the same as the primarch of the Fourth Legion? It's absolutely impossible."
"Ha." Qin Xia smiled helplessly at Ouliya, and then said to Oulina, "Goodbye, Peitu Labo."
Watching Qin Xia gradually go away, Oulina looked at her sister who had a helpless look on her face.
Olya shrugged, "Don't think too much. Your condition is not as serious as Perturabo's."
……
Qin Xia went to the library.
As usual, the Lord of the White Knights sat cross-legged on the ground.
Close your eyes.
The next second, Qin Xia's soul broke through the confinement of the physical body and entered the subspace.
In the subspace without distance and time, Qin Xia, who was already familiar with the soul projections of Avida and Asar, found their projections in an instant.
The shadows of the two of them shone like beacons.
Hostile Warp creatures are approaching their projection, but some crows can be seen driving the Warp creatures away.
The flesh and blood mutation was not caused by those subspace creatures or crows. This gene seed defect was indeed the work of Tzeentch, but the impact had already been exerted and could not be eliminated.
Qin Xia did not come here to treat genetic mutations. He was just observing Asar's soul projection and was always ready to do something.
The thing is that if Asar's body can't bear the mutation of flesh and blood and eventually dies, and his soul is no longer anchored by the real body and rises into the subspace, if the situation is not right, it will accelerate the annihilation of Asar's soul.
Qin Xia had a hunch that Tzeentch might want to use Asar to do something, and his intuition even told him that this alien race was part of a conspiracy set up for Asar.
Therefore, it would be a relief for Asar's flesh and blood to mutate until his death and his soul to ascend into the warp and be annihilated. But if his soul fell into the hands of Tzeentch, he would be unable to live or die.
Qin Xia had no solution to the flesh and blood mutation. The only thing he could do was to make Asar's death a relief, which could also be regarded as compensation for having killed the hopes of Avida and Asar on the surface.
"Huh? What's going on?"
Qin Xia's attention was suddenly attracted by the unusual movement. He zoomed in and focused on the warship of the 15th Legion that was sailing alone in the subspace.
On the warship, Asar was tied with chains, bound in the middle of a strange ritual pattern.
There are ninety-nine aliens around.
Qin Xia didn't even know when Avida captured so many aliens.
Arvida himself stood beside Asar, holding an exquisite dagger in one hand and an empty syringe in the other.
"Don't!" Qin Xia rushed towards the warship, but was stopped by Geller.
He had never attempted to charge into Geller's position without entering the warp in his physical body.
Geller's position was like glass, isolating Qin Xia's consciousness.
Qin Xia tried his best to break through Geller's position, but these attempts were like hitting glass; the sound and movement could hardly penetrate the glass.
Unless he intends to use the psychic energy in the warp to crush the ship directly, there is no way to ensure that the warship is not damaged and break through Geller's position.
"Then what should we do next?" Avida asked the crow standing on his shoulder.
"According to the data I read from the biological computer before it was destroyed by the Titan... you should kill these sacrifices one by one." Crow said, "I don't know the slightest about this ritual, my Lord, please be careful."
Avida nodded and used his psionic power to control the dagger in his hand.
The dagger pierced the aliens one by one.
Ninety-nine aliens fell to the ground at the same time, but they did not shed much blood. Only their souls flowed on the ground and finally ran into the center of the ritual pattern.
"Put the syringe on." Crow said again.
Avida immediately placed the needle in the center of the pattern.
The souls of those aliens gradually shrank and condensed, and finally gathered into a drop of golden liquid, penetrating the outer shell of the syringe and entering the interior.
Avida grabbed the syringe and looked at the vital liquid flowing in it, and suddenly he felt tears welling up in his eyes.
Once again, Avida saw hope.
A concrete hope.
Qin Xia used Titan to destroy the biological computer in the alien race's holy land, and his elves entered the holy land at the moment before the biological computer was destroyed and stole the technology to cure flesh and blood mutations.
There was at least one thing that Avida didn't agree with Qin Xia's words, that was that it was wrong for him to trust an elf...
As Avida said, the elves have helped him countless times without asking for anything in return, or even praise, because the creatures of the subspace were born out of a concept, and they only seek to complete the concepts they are involved in rather than gain benefits.
Even if the elf had not been smarter this time, he would never have found a way to cure Asar.
"Brother." Avida walked up to Asar, "It may be a little painful... but compared to the mutation, it's bearable."
"Don't hit me with this..." Asar could no longer move. He felt himself anchored in the center of the ritual, with only vague consciousness left to make vague resistance.
"Are you afraid that he is not safe?" Avida straightened up and glanced at the potion in his hand.
In the end, he felt that this alien creature might not be that safe after all.
"Is there any way to make me mutate as well?" Avida looked at his crow, "Then I can inject some into myself and see if it can cure the mutation?"
"Actively welcome the flesh and blood mutation?" The crow also looked at his master. "This... seems to be the best way."
Avida wanted to ask his elf how to mutate himself.
The elf immediately gave a silent answer - a ritual.
Asar looked at his best friend and subordinates and said with difficulty: "Give me the potion."
Avida hesitated.
Asar suddenly roared, using a strength he had never used before, stretched out his tentacles, wrapped around the potion and inserted it into his body.
"I'm probably going to die," Asar thought, because he saw the revolving lantern and his soul gradually leaving his mutated body.
Something horrifying and indescribable appeared in the "sky" above.
That is the malice of the Most High.
Asar wondered why he felt that what Qin Xia said was true. Because when his spiritual power almost went out of control, he saw everything above his head now.
He couldn't describe it, or even see it clearly, only his intuition as a psychic told him that it was harmful.
"Take me as a lesson." Asar lowered his head and looked at Avida, who had a two-winged blue bird standing on his shoulder. "Take me as a lesson."
Avida looked puzzled and was about to step forward when a golden psychic energy shock spread out with Asar as the center.
The ship's engines, void shields, and Geller's stance were all down.
The released shockwave temporarily isolated the countless horrifying things above Asar's head.
Avida was blown away by the impact and fell to the ground.
The crow on his shoulder also flew out, but after landing it turned into a blue bird.
